Not happening. Should have gone for him when we had the chance.
-
As much as I love Willian, when you have to admit that either he or our second-choice goalkeeper have been our best players in the three (well, two, nobody gives a shit about the Community Shield, which is an overblown friendly), you know we're having a shitter.
-
Otamendi is a lot older, in fairness.
-
But then in 12/13 when we had the black third, we wore the white away:
-
Let's face it, we've become Arsenal Tedious football around the outside of the box trying to score the perfect goal, and buying players only after selling in order to finance a new stadium.
-
Okay, in that case, let's not criticise anyone because we won the league last season. What a batshit crazy piece of logical thinking, that is?! He's been fucking atrocious. I try and defend every player but Ivanovic has no excuses after his performances.
-
We're predictable. 4-2-3-1 is easy to defend against. Go 4-4-2 and everyone will shit themselves.
-
376/9d?
-
Bet he wishes he stayed at Stoke rather than joining us
-
It could come to light that Ivanovic is fucking Mourinho's wife and José would find a way to forgive him.

Makes a change...

He has his work permit. I'd like to see him given a shot with the first team.

Chelsea: Baba Rahman moves to Stamford Bridge from Augsburg Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign defender Baba Rahman from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg. The Premier League champions confirmed the move for the Ghana international, 21, on their club website with Augsburg saying the fee will remain undisclosed. Chelsea had been linked with the left-back after allowing Brazil international Filipe Luis to re-join Atletico Madrid earlier this summer. He said: "I am very happy to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world." Rahman spent 12 months with Augsburg after signing from SpVgg Greuther Fürth in August 2014, making 31 appearances for the Bavarian club last season as they qualified for the Europa League. He was also a member of Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations squad which lost in the final to Ivory Coast in February. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33953803

Plus Cuadrado, Mikel and Ivanovic.

Chelsea have today (Sunday) agreed a deal to sign defender Abdul Baba Rahman from Bundesliga outfit FC Augsburg. The Blues had been linked with the left-back since Brazil international Filipe Luis was allowed to return to Atletico Madrid earlier this summer. The 21-year-old Ghanaian international was a member of his country’s Africa Cup of Nations squad which finished runners-up to Ivory Coast in February. Rahman said: 'I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world. 'I can't wait to train with my new team-mates and very much looking forward to working with them and Mr Mourinho', he continued. 'I am also looking forward to having the opportunity to meet the fans as soon as possible'. The Ghanaian's arrival will mean increased competition for regular full-backs Cesar Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic.

The writing is on the wall. This time last season, City started sluggishly because they didn't invest in the summer. They were found out, basically. Exactly the same thing is happening here.
-
Football fans are fickle. I can't recall the opening poster making any anti-Mourinho threads as we waltzed our way to a double last season.
-
Okay. I take that back then. From your post it seemed as if you were being critical of people who you can identify as being pro-Mourinho. I'm pro-Mourinho, because a; he's the best manager in the world, and b; because he's the Chelsea boss. Make of that what you will. I don't think he deserves half the flack he's getting.

The Ashley Cole-Azpi situation at the start of 13/14 will mirror what will happen with Ivanovic-Azpi. He will not be in the starting XI by the end of the season. His decline since Christmas has been remarkable.
-
Scapegoated whilst Ivanovic steals a living.
-
Outstanding, could do nothing about any of the goals, IMO. Though Aguero's finish lacked pace, it was ridiculously precise and also came through a sea of legs. Would have been unsighted by that. Powerless with the Kompany header, and the Fernandinho goal was a stunner.
-
And you can do one posting antagonistic shit like that, as well.
-
The irony here is delicious.
-
Fuck José regarding this. He really earned a shot at being, in the very least, a squad rotation player this year. Disappointed.
