We are approaching the Summer and that can only mean one thing - our annual forum awards are here once again! There are 13 categories up for nomination. In a change to previous formats, you can nominate one people per category (not including yourself, though...) and these will then be converted into polls including those members given the most nominations, allowing for members to get a comprehensive overview of each award, to see who is nominated and who voted for who. Sturridge isn't good enough, in my opinion. Might as well cash in on him and go and bring in some real talent. Sturridge has the ability, but not the intelligence. He will never be a great player, not for us anyway. He is far too selfish. You can be selfish if you are brilliant, ie. a young Ronaldo, Messi or Robben. Sturridge is not brilliant.

CM should be right at the bottom of our list of priorities. 1. Playmaker 2. Winger 3. Right-back 4. Striker if Drogba leaves 5. Second-choice goalkeeper 6. Midfield reinforcement.

Age is irrelevant at this stage, in my honest opinion. We are in dire need of wingers, and Lavezzi is one of the best because of how dynamic a player he is. This is a man who will also contribute 15 goals a season to the cause. Granted he is 27 - but that means he is at his peak, let us not forget. By the time he is moving towards his 30s the likes of Marin, de Bruyne et al. will have stepped up.

Schurrle is a decent young player. Apparently it is going to cost us between £14.5 to £16 million to sign him, which is a fair amount considering we spent nearly that much on Lukaku, and look what happened with him!

£30 million for this kid would be a steal, he could be as good as Arjen Robben in a few years. I see such similarities in their play, and Muniain has great potential.
