  1. Mudryk gonna needs time by the looks of it. Struggling to get involved in the game’s really bar that cameo v Liverpool. Severely overpaid
  2. What is it with this constant talk of Nkunku playing as a CF….. hes a number 10 he will play where Felix plays when he arrives.
  3. But again now how many times is that where Bellingham has sprinted past them like there not there? Nothing to do with the manager that. As a pair they are too offensive minded. Just want to play with the ball.
  4. Even there though, Brandt just comes in narrow and runs off the back of Enzo who's not aware enough. Do think we may need to go 433 but doesn’t matter how many guys in there if our lads aren’t thinking of who could be behind them, wont make a difference.
  5. Enzo and Ruben really don’t know how to defend at all do they? All good being neat and tidy, getting on the ball but playing in that position they both need to do so much more, especially positioning wise, huge gaps appearing.
  6. Pep came out on the defensive. Made fun of Slippy Gerrard (which I think we as Chelsea fans shouldn’t give 2 fucks about). Don’t see the issue here. Arteta hardly haranguing officials either. Plus what the fuck has clothes or how a manager dresses got to do with anything? Some right clowns on this forum. Maybe take two minutes to read a post fully and you’ll see I never mentioned anything about how a manager dresses instead of flying off the handle like a moron.
  7. Perhaps but I think keeping our best defensive CB partnership in the CL is more beneficial than a top heavy area of the team where we have 7 or 8 options on paper.
  8. His Atleti deal runs to the summer of 2027 though. Ultimately think a fee will be around £90-100m if we do make it permanent but not entirely sure because Nkunku is coming in the summer and plays the same position. Plus if he starts scoring goals or making assists regularly he will only strengthen Atleti’s valuation.
  9. Thats bullshit. I mean how many times did we see Jose, Conte or Tuchel lose the rag and our performances improve considerably afterwards? Or you going to tell me that didn’t ever happen too? Or Pep when he’s not happy with his team does he just sit with his hands in his pockets? Or does Klopp? I suppose I can’t make a point to somebody who doesn’t want to see it.
  10. Would of went for Badiashile over Mudryk tbf but his price tag undoubtedly would of raised a question. I mean Badiashile and Silva have arguably been our best snd most consistent players of late so its hardly that much of a surprise to say we should have put him in, is it?
  11. Not putting Badiashile in the CL squad is a massive fuck up. Don’t trust any of KK, Fofana or Chalobah in a back 4. Still can’t believe we paid 100m+ for Fofana and KK. Mental.
  12. Dont get how you could be so naive to think him doing nothing on the sides doesn't transmit to the players though. Like at all. Players respond to animation on the touchline particularly when it indicates that a manager isnt happy with the performance. I mean we’ve seen this with Jose, Tuchel, Conte, Sarri here in the past years. More examples are Klopp at Liverpool, Pep at City, Arteta at Arsenal. Its hardly anything revolutionary or new is it? Its basic body language. If things are going to shit and he‘s just going to stand there with his hands in his pockets and wait to HT or FT to get on at the players what sort of message do you think that sends to the players? I mean people complained when Frank did nothing also at the sidelines/showed no passion, anger or emotions. Its no different. I mean where is the standards here now? Are people happy to let us significantly drop off a cliff with Potter purely because he’s English? It’s embarrassing.
  13. Media getting under his skin over him not getting angry on the touchline. Guys not got the minerals for this club. A large % of us on here probably think the same re him being a statue when things are going to shit. Too soft for elite level management. Also not good enough
  14. Not gonna lie about 50-60% of those clips I am not surprised he doesn’t pass it to Mudryk who is basically man marked by their wingback/fullback within touching distance and his body in a position where he cannot really isolate the player without taking extra touches. Seems vastly overanalysed but also then how many other players don’t make those passes to players? Nothing new. The ones where Mudryk has a yard or two yeah I understand the frustration but not going to make it out to be a big deal. Maybe it was also a tactical thing to try play more through the middle? We’ve seen it before with Di Matteo with Mata Hazard and Oscar coming in really really narrow and going to focus on the play going centrally. Also seen it with Sarri playing through Jorginho.
  15. Goals aside, still not overly excited by him. Still extremely raw technically and think at higher level and tempo he will struggle initially. A loan to a mid table team in France, Spain or even Portugal maybe be a wise move to start with. Don’t think he will see many minutes here if he gets a work permit and undoubtedly will be loaned in the summer. Not writing him off but I think its fair to say his goals have vastly inflated his performances. For me, he doesn’t look to be anywhere near to the same level of technical ability the likes of Neymar, Vini, Rodrygo, Lucas Moura, Oscar, Casemiro etc (guys who came straight from Brazil to Europe) were. Obviously still an opportunity to develop that side. Not saying he has to have the technical attributes of Neymar or Vini etc who are higher end of the scale but the likes of Oscar and Casemiro were considerably much much more proficient technically when they moved to Europe.
  16. Getting rid of Tuchel and appointing Potter has to be the stupidest appointment we’ve made since Villas-Boas after Ancelotti. One of the worst moves this club has made in the past 25 years.
  17. How many more chances? Started brightish then faded. AGAIN. Before being shite. We are far too easy to play against, the penalty no penalty whatever (turned the game off by then because it was a poor watch) is just an excuse either way that could make people to well he was unlucky but that was not a performance worthy of a win from what I watched up to after (barring first 20 minutes or so, did we do anything?) Out of his depth. Considerably. Making the players look shite too by saying things like a “step in the right direction performance wise”, I mean do we have mid tabke players? Is this level of performance acceptable for the personnel we have? I am so absolutely fucked off by this guy and how he seems to be getting no bad press in the UK re his job and how he’s doing. Theres always an excuse. Penalty/no penalty. Injuries. Suspensions. Enough. He’s not good enough. Not one thing where you can notice any signs of notable improvement from since he came in barring the new manager bounce which is usually 3 or 4 games. He’s had that. Also If I see the “he tore AC Milan a new arsehole twice ” post again in response as to why we should get behind him I am going to cry 🤣
  18. Lukaku heir? Wells that a disappointing way to put it.
  19. Havertz up top…. Should of went with Fofana
  20. The 443 stuff came from the Athletic and they are notoriously well informed usually. Not sure where the CL thing came from but seen it doing the rounds
  21. Release clause but to be paid in instalments.
  22. Said Enzo wasn’t coming if we didn’t pay the release clause. Which we did. Then on deadline day I think 3/4s of us said he might not come which it did look incredibly unlikely at times with the reports about the deal. And said originally after thinking they wouldn’t loan him that Felix wont be coming (on a cheap - which people thought we would get him for) unless we meet Atletico’s astronomical prices for a 6 month loan plus paid all of his salary. Which we did. For what almost £14m quid all in. Plus If Enzo cost €121m or whatever on a release clause how much do you think a genuine world class midfield player who is hugely proven and one of the Italian NTs key players, will cost? Not any other club, but us? And thats before even debating if he would leave Italy? We had a chance to get him under Sarri and didn’t. Wont happen.
  23. Yeah same. GP is defos gonna at least include him in the pre-season to see what like he is then make a decision. Never ever going to get Barella. Ever.
  24. Lot of rumours going around that Todd was in a meeting with agents and made a comment where it looks like he was under the impression we qualified for the CL every year… then he was corrected by one of said agent, left the room and checked with his advisors before returning and acknowledging he was wrong 🤣 Holy fuck I hope this isn't true - talk about looking like a grade A fanny
  25. He’s a Man United fan. He has said countless times buying a PL club isn’t good value for money compared to other clubs in foreign leagues (fully agreed but I suppose if I was a multi multi billionaire I’d either want to be batman 😂 or own the football club I support in the ‘best league in the world’) but I would imagine his affiliation to United as a fan probably as well as scratching the itch of owning a PL club, something he’s wanted and tried to do already with Newcastle, us and Leeds (although whilst in the Championship IIRC), will make it happen. The “its a rich mans toy” thing is throwaway comment because how often has that been said in the past and its never been accurate? With us when Roman took over, when City were bought by Sheikh Mansour, when PSG were bought by the Qatari’s , probably when we were bought over again etc. These guys are passionate about achieving something with these clubs, which they will treat the same way as any other business undoubtedly and want it to be successful. Nobody who is rich enough buys a PL football club these days for the going prices purely to use it as a toy or a plaything.
