Majority of his goals are penalties/assisted by team mates who are given orders to cross it into him rather than try and score themselves. You can't build a team around Falcao like at Atletico when you have Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Ramires, in the current XI.

Hazard starting the season in blistering form, 6 assists and 4 goals I think. Hes come in for a bit of stick with his work rate and that so maybe he will get hooked perhaps but I still fancy him to play vs Fulham since he is capable of a flash of brilliance to change a game. Marin will be a sub likely. I'm not saying Marin isn't a good player, he showed for Werder Bremen and the German national team he was a superb little player who could have been a world beater had it not been for injuries unraveling his progress. His pre-season was good but just picking him on that is like Jose continuously picking Sheva because he scored 20-30 goals a season in Italy 2 or 3 years before he signed for us rather than current form of him and others.

Marin doesn't deserve a start based on 3 pre-season games imo. Hazard, Oscar, Mata and Moses have done more than him. Albeit he was injured but still just because he was good in pre-season means nothing, especially now we have a new manager. He has it all to do to prove hes worth a spot in the team. If he trains better than them 4 players then he deserves a start. Picking players based on "pre-season" when we are 15-20 games in to the season (all competitions) is ridiculous.

I think when Romeu came of vs Swansea and Utd we got a foothold in the game. We havfe a very similar situation to Holland in the 2010 world cup and the Euros 2012. They usually played De Jong and Van Bommel who aren't really mobile and they don't use one as a box to box, they usually subbed one of them off and used Van Der Vaart as a box to box midfielder. Spurs have Sandro and Dembele in their pivot, Dembele plays as the box to box midfielder, we have Mikel and Ramires and Ramires plays as the box to box midfielder. When we've taken Mikel off we've dominated but when hes been on when dominated. Mikel isn't the problem here.

Yeah Barca B is also a great experience for the younger guys, the FA wonder why the England aren't as good as they were before... talented youngsters playing for continental national teams getting experience in B teams. They should fix that. AVB, Wenger and Moyes have all tried already apparently. This u21 bullcrap isn't the answer.

Yeah our academy is decent, its had a lot of money invested into it but what Barca had was at least 30 years of work with a philosophy put in place so players would be able to make the jump easily as the teams set up the same (same formation, 4-3-3 and tiki taka style of play) We don't have that instilled. We have good youngsters who could make the jump under good coaching (McEachran, Chalobah, Ake, Feruz, Piazon) but Barca have literally promoted at least 5 players from their youth team each season. Barca had a full homegrown XI out the other night, an impressive stat for you haha, in modern football thats quite rare.

The probability stats of us changing managers shouldn't matter, we always end up with silverware after doing it, like Roman or not for sacking good managers it always provokes a reaction from the team. True but I think if Roman signs a player with an ego/or a player develops an ego then Pep will struggle to deal with it. If Guardiola was such a classy coach he'd have kept Ronaldinho, Henry, Eto'o, Deco etc and explained he wanted to fade them out rather than sell them as they were "big stars with egos", they were more than useful in my eyes. Look at his transfers too... 60 odd million including Eto'o (better player) for Zlatan, the cunt wouldn't even play him in his normal position.
