Hes really fallen off the radar a bit recently, hes a superb player. Technically hes amazing, don't believe how Del Bosque made him go play for the U21s again. If only he'd chose to play for Brazil, he'd start every game for them.

Well if you believe what will happen at the end of the season with Pep and Robbie we might as well consider signing this guy. Even in January tbh, we need a CM, hes not playing a lot at Barca so why not? Seems his progress has been halted in the last season or two. Was playing for Barca a lot under Pep, then they signed Fabergas and he ended up being sacrificed for Cesc. He was also in the Spanish national team until Vincente Del Bosque demoted him and well I've not heard much about him recently. Thoughts? Also looked for his previous thread, it was locked because he signed that contract extension when we were linked to him under Villas-Boas, maybe a mod could unlock it and merge these?

Ok Inter have conceded more than 2 goals in their last 8 games. They've conceded 5 in the last 8 games. Still they are producing results and winning games. Haven't lost away in the league yet, interesting to see how long that lats.

They have only conceded 2 in the last 8 games I think (well thats what I read). Since they've played 3 at the back that is anyway. They have brilliant defenders tbh, always have in the last few years.

Looks like Andrea Stramaccioni is increasingly improving as a manager. His tactics are coming off especially in the big games, Inters squad isn't the most talented group in Serie A but they're playing together as a team and getting results. Hes got a versatile squad of players and hes using them to good effect.

Sahin would be a great addition but I wouldn't say hes like Cesc. Sahin's more a Xavi Alonso like player, dictates the play from deep where as Cesc is much much more offensive now a days and is more a goal scorer than a creator.

Rumors have been linking Arsenal to him in January and I've thought why don't we go for him. Great wee player, pacey, direct, has good trickery and end product. Would mean we could take him and Moses on a flank each and destroy teams sitting really compact blocking us through the middle. He is also a great finisher for a wide player. Would give us another option if we lose Studge because he can play upfront too.
