I think winning any sort of trophy is worth it. Win this and it could galvanize our season, you never know.

That list is incredible. The players he signed, only a small fraction of them went on to actually play for Liverpool consistently. Lucas, Agger, Reina, Johnson, Mascherano, Alonso, Torres, Kuyt etc. Also seen that Mikel San Jose of Atletic Bilbao played for Liverpool before... wtf!! Was reading that list and found this.. Gary Stevens Cost: Free (Ross County, August 2007) Where is he now? Part of Liverpool's youth setup. If anyone watches the SPL (highly doubt it) that is Gary Mackay-Stevens now playing for Dundee Utd... hes from Thurso, which is 25 minutes away from Wick .... he did some class skill thing was on Soccer AM, I'll post a video when I find it.

Never mind all this lets step up and claim our club back stuff, I had a kitkat earlier and some fuck nugget stole it, lets step up and claim it back as I'm rather hungry and quite frankly sick of all this Rafa Benitez talk and Roman Abramovich talk... Rafas manager, protesting or whatever wont do fuck all. Just think about this, no Roman = no money = no major success in last 10 years so yeaaaah we'd be that club that could maybe win stuff in the future like ermmmm... Arsenal... and we don't wanna be like that. Wow your picture is awesome! Would have done the tag thing but forgot how to do it...

Is the creation of a CFC Fan Trust needed
OneMoSalah replied to robdog's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Its weird that Roman hasn't spoke to any interviewers or that. Apparently he has good English, well I read somewhere that somewhere despite reports he cannot speak English.......... -
Ben Jacobs some guy from Sports Talks has tweeted some interesting things yesterday. It seems our situation in the CL was nothing to do with Robbie getting sacked. Also something about Torres.. 45] Ben Jacobs @JacobsBen Rafa also told me Torres is nursing a knee injury and, although still playing, it is affecting his form/confidence #Chelsea Expand 45] 1hBen Jacobs @JacobsBen Finally, Benitez is looking forward to linking up with Fernando Torres again, but revealed he has a knee injury which is affecting his formAnother tweet on this "knee injury"

Exactly. Perhaps Roman has thought "we are playing poor and aren't getting better but infact are getting worse, this could get bad" and removed Robbie for the clubs best interests this season. Every time Roman's done this, we've done better. Harsh as it is on Robbie it might work.

If Eva gets fired, Roman will get Rihanna as the next physio..... well I'd hope he'd try and replace her with someone hot...

This. He still needs a few seasons yet to get some experience in the PL then we can think about turning him into a deep lying playmaker. Makes sense though that he will eventually play there (Well hopefully). Good in possession, at dribbling, at tackling, at long diagonal passes etc. Just we'd need a certain number 9 to make diagonal runs and runs.

DROGBAS COMING HOME........ WOOOOOOOOOOOO

The things I've put in bold, if he can recreate them stats to an extent here at Chelsea. Then he will have done a very very good job. Even half of the stats in bold, still a very good job.

Wonder if Rafa will ditch his more defensive mentality and go for the three floating 10s but with a high pressing game unlike Robbie. Hes apparently a "strong tactician" so maybe he can solve the problems we are having by tweaking with Robbie's system. I'm sure he'd love to keep Mazacar in the team allowing them to interchange but if they cannot be positioned well defensively then we are fucked. If he drops Luiz for a while or straightens him out and makes us concede less then maybe we will win games more regularly rather than over committing at 1-0 and getting countered.

Will Rafa be our coach by the end of the year?
OneMoSalah replied to Chelsea?'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
If he wins Club World Cup and maybe the Capital One Cup while rescuing our CL progression and possibly finishing top 3 then why not? we said the same for Robbie last year didn't we? I think the board must have a promise from Pep that he will manage us next summer though by the time its only a interim basis, doubt they'd seal this and just hope Pep will come and manage the team... -
Why not show Rafa support and hope he wins the Club World Cup and Capital One Cup? Were favorites for both imo. He will probably win more here in this job than what we on for Liverpool in 5 years so they will be a laughing stalk. Also it gives him a chance to put himself in the shop window after the end of the season when we get Pep... if it happens. Win win for both I guess.. well in Romans eyes. Still against it but I will support him... hes at Chelsea now so he deserves all our respect and support.
-
Lets be honest. Hate him or not hes here now so lets get behind him. As long as he doesn't sign Dirt Kuyt, Maxi Rodriguez or Jamie Carragher on an emergency loan.

Juan Mata, as classy as ever.

If Rafa becomes manager he will be forced to play an attractive style of football lol.

I think all these "Roman out" things are crazy though. Seen them all over twitter too. If Roman and the board have come to the conclusion where they think we were starting a bad run and he wanted to stop that a bit earlier then trust him. No doubt Roman isn't helping by constantly forcing managers to play the shit #9 we purchased for 50 million but yeah. In adversity lies opportunities, we've always bounced back and performed better as a team. Roman really just wants whats best for this club, hes poured over a billion of his own money in to this club. If he didn't want to help the club, he wouldn't have originally bought the club or gave managers big budgets to go after the Drogbas, Carvalhos, Essiens, Matas, Hazards, Torres' etc of this world. Maybe if Mr Villas-Boas had been much much much more persisted with Falcao, Hulk, Moutinho etc he'd still be in the job. Maybe Robbie would if he'd been much much more persisted with Remy, Falcao, etc too. I feel some of the players have let the coach down by playing poorly too. Robbie needed more time but I'm going to hope Roman and the boards decision helps the club going forward from now on this season.

Also a 4231 at Inter.

Ok... I am sorry... Anyway about the sacking, I think deep down we all expected Roman to sack Robbie eventually. He wanted Pep, when Pep won the CL vs Manchester United, Roman tried for him (apparently) as did others. He continued trying as Pep only signed one year deals. The fact it took Roman 3 weeks to appoint Robbie shows he was option C or D for him. The only problem I have is with this sacking that Robbie didn't get enough time but I always had a feeling Roman would get of him either end of the season or when results go bad like under AVB. Rumors are that he was sacked because he dropped Torres and didn't even play a striker, the weird and negative tactics vs Juve last night. there had been some rows in the dressing room recently, were nearly crashing out as European Champions in the group stages... oh and yeah we haven't won in 5 or 6 games too. If we pick our form up and recover maybe they will think "oh we've managed to save ourselves with what happened with Andre last year" (frustrating games and performances but eventually he got sacked like 6 or 7 games after the start of it) still ludicrious. Robbie might not have lasted long but he was the first manager here to win us the CL, so hes automatically a legend as a manager in my eyes.
