Yeah I was more than happy with winning the CL and would take it ahead of top 4 - in fact that night in Munich was the happiest night of my life as a Chelsea fan - but Chelsea simply has to finish top 4 But yeah lets agree to disagree

Lol! Bet you everyone will now click to see that....

No. Just being frankly honest, we could have done better in the league and finished top 4... was still in our hands at one point!

He couldn't motivate the team to beat a struggling AC Milan side, some washed up MLS team, Atletico, Juve (twice), Brighton, Newcastle (last season), Man City (Community shield and last season), PSG, Swansea, QPR, WBA, Man United, Liverpool (this season and last season in that horrible 4-0 game) so what difference does it make? The only team in that list that is better than us is Man City and maybe possibly Juventus depending on what way you look at it even though I believe we should have gone to beat them in Italy and beat them at the Bridge. We would have won more games if it weren't for Robbie's naive tactics and failure to recognize that the 3 players behind the striker was costing the team defensively a bit sooner. Lets be honest, when your on about managers beating Barca, Napoli, Bayern etc, does that mean coaches of lower clubs in La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga that have beat the teams deserve a top job? No. Neil Lennons Celtic beat Barca, does he deserve a top coaching job? No. Your argument makes no sense. Also first couple of games Robbie won in the PL were against Wigan, Reading, Newcastle, Stoke and Norwich. All winnable by easy margins, especially considering the squad we have so saying that Rafa doesn't really deserve credit because we just beat Nordjaelland, Sunderland and Monterrey.. when he does because we've looked much better defensively and more tactically disciplined. Also last season, we managed to drop from 4th place to 6th place under Robbie... just because we won the FA cup and CL it was still disgraceful for a club as big as us to finish outside the top 4. Robbie was always walking a tightrope as any manager is at Chelsea, I always had a feeling Roman felt pressured a bit into appointing him. Imagine the uproar if he hadn't offered him the job? Still I accepted the decision to sack him because Robbie is still a novice in the terms of management at the highest level and now he the CL and FA cup on his CV so he could walk into a job basically anywhere. After the AVB disaster maybe sacking Robbie was the right thing to do, we can't always dwell on past achievements. Got to look ahead and obviously Robbie wasn't Romans man.

Sven and Lars can't sign for us.... or opposition fans will tease us about having 2 players called "Bender" in our squad
-
No. My dad is a Queen of the South fan and more recently a Inverness Caley fan. He supports Queen of the South because his dad got the chance to sign pro with them but he turned it down (why I will never know haha) and he supports Inverness now because my brother played in their youth team for a few years. Don't think he actually gives too much of a shit about football tbh haha.

This is Leif, he obviously picks the shit out of the pan and puts it on the scale!!!!

28 dead, including 20 children, in school shooting
OneMoSalah replied to Kieran.'s topic in General Chat
Seen this earlier, why do people do such things? Sometimes mankind is embarrassing. Shooting 27 innocent people, 18 of of them young children with their whole life ahead of them is sick. RIP. -
Calling Benitez a crappy manager is harsh. He won La Liga in 2001-02 and 2003-04 with Valencia. La Liga has been dominated by Real and Barca for the last 20 years basically so that is a fantastic achievement for any manager. Also he won the CL with an average Liverpool side being 3-0 down at half time. He made that tactical changes and it worked. Hes a great tactician, just because he was Liverpool manager doesn't mean hes a shit manager.

FFP is ridiculous imo. Obviously someone whos going to pour loads of money into a club will realize the club will need to make money to pay off their debts. I would honestly love to meet Michel Platini, compliment him on how great a player he was then kick him in the nuts for passing this rule.
-
If its only 10-15 million why the fuck not. Boys fast and has improved his general end product and finishing a lot over the last few years. Plus I'd rather us get him than City/United tbh. Imagine 20 mins left in a game, throw him on against a tired defense his pace could be brilliant. Could be a genius signing.
-
He already rejected us last summer to go to Madrid when AVB/the board tried signing him from Benfica (despite us offering the full release clause - 30 million euros cahs only - which was more than Madrid wanted to pay - 20 odd million euros plus Ezequiel Garay - which is why Benfica's board pushed for him to come here instead of Madrid). Also he looks extremely suspect defending tbh so no thanks. Hes great going forward though but thats because hes played a lot as a winger at Rio Ave due to being poor defensively. Basically hes the slightly better LB version of Bosingwa tbh. I'd rather we keep Cole or go for Marcelo (who according to Cole is the best LB in the world). Or Baines who is also a great LB. Also his hair is a fucking mess, if he was to come here he'd have to sort that out. Fecking hippie.

Inverting the pyramid arrived woo! The other book fucking hasn't though, fuck you amazon!!

Brazil have Juan Jesus, Dede, Bruno Uvini, Leandro Castan as well as Luiz and Thiago Silva. Nobody walks into a national team as easy as you made out. Picks are usually based on form and if Luiz is playing DM he'll either get picked there or not at all. I also realized Luiz only has 17 caps for Brazil, honestly expected him to have 25-30 tbh.
-
Totally agree. Especially Mata as well, gets into a decent position but always looks to pass. Same with Oscar despite him having a cracker of a shot on him as we seen vs Juve!
-
May sound harsh but I honestly expected more goals from Eden. Hes doing well with everything else though so I don't really mind as long as we score goals and keep winning. Two things I love about him is that he can get fouled a million and one times in a game but still picks himself up every time and repeatedly takes people on etc. Also his acceleration is absolutely exceptional, if he wanted he could have a sloppy touch and still he can recover it before a defender. His first touch is usually perfect though
-
Fuck sake should of expected something like this after seeing "Leif" on my screen tbh haha.
-
Lets win this. Give the younger players in the squad a taste of what its like to win a trophy and hope they stay hungry and win as many as they can!
-
Torres cost 50 million. I don't know if 5 goals is meant to cover 2 years worth of shitness but yeah.
-
If he doesn't score in this club world cup he should be shot like a race horse who has ran his last race. Ok maybe not shot but yeah... sold probably a better word... much much better word.

I remember the first time I seen this, was years and years ago used to think it was the funniest thing ever. Back in the "golden days" haha

Watching embarrassing fat bodies on 4seven and there is this one women on it who has something wrong with her ovaries due to being overweight. Its affecting her, giving her extra testosterone levels so she has excessive hair growth and she kind of has bumfluff on her face. Another person on it is a man who has a 0 sperm count because hes that fat that the area around his testicles is so warm like his thighs are huge and his belly overhangs so its really warm. Just thought I'd share that with yous xox Anyway what bullshit to put on TV at after 1 am.

Oh no!!! 12/12/12!!! My twitter TL was full of comments about this and it was the same with 11/11/11 last year.. some people Oh yeah, also 10 or 11 days to the world ends.... if your silly enough to believe so
-
Well he is just the greatest coach in Barca history and one of the greatest players to come through the ranks they've had so why would they pass up the chance to work with him again? I think if Pep does come, certain players that aren't attainable become attainable. Busquets could be one as could David Villa, Thiago, Sanchez, Pedro, a few of the Barca B players etc.

Feel sorry for one guy with links with Arsenal. HAHAHAHA
