Asissidi or whatever his name is or possibly Suso whoever they play on one wing.

Will we press them or sit back. Point is if we sit back and let them have the ball they will get chances to pick out the runs of Suarez, Sterling and Assidi/Suso, we must press them as high up as possible so they make mistakes. Hope Robbie thinks the same and goes for pressing them high up. I mean look what Swansea did to us with their pressing in the game last weekend and again what Swansea did at Anfield in the Capital One Cup. We do that and they're bound to concede possession and we have players more than capable of doing that and then producing magic with the ball. We have to press them, they aren't Spain or Barca but they are a good side with the ball, everyone must work hard and disrupt their rhythm and then take chances we create as we were a bit toothless in the games vs Shaktar and Swansea. We will have to keep the ball very well too as they will press us high up too.

Thank fuck hes back, sick of seeing us concede 3 or 4 a game without him.
-
If he can't get a work permit he'll get loaned to Holland, Italy or somewhere. Won't go to a PL club unless we get him a work permit.
-
He probably won't play for Chelsea until his 20s or won't play for us at all....

Ashley Cole is close to agreeing a deal to play for Paris Saint Germain next season [Le10 Sport]. #CFC

Not going to be easy, especially if Liverpool play as well as they have. Their results don't justify their performances in some games. Tight man expect a 1-0, or 2-1 tbh. Torres might score tbh. Doubt it though haha.
-
That is a sensational hit.
-
Think we could do with a striker of his pedigree and experience. Played in plenty of big games, scores plenty of goals in the big games. Clinical as you can get tbh.
-
Hope thats true but Metro are quite unreliable. I'd hope we'd get him cheap for our unofficial link with Vitesse tooo...
-
Need to press them as high as we can, give them possession they will get beyond our invisible back 4, or thats how its been in recent games.
-
He had a shit game, Srna tore him a new arsehole, no denying it. Hes not a bad player though, plus hes played 3 European games or something. Needs experience.
-
The current side is in a transitional phase. You cannot speed up change, Guardiola would have problems too with our team as they are just adjusting as would Mourinho. Basically whoever manages us for the next 2,3 or even 4 years be it Robbie or whoever else will know its going to be a phase were they the teams adjusting to the philosophy that's being instilled in the club. AVB was right with what he said when he was just appointed, the team is a long term project, it will take time.

The difference was big Fraser Forster in the net for Celtic and Victor Wanyama in midfield, pure animal.
-
Never mind what the board see, I see another pointless thread tbh. Just discuss the things about Torres and Sturridge in their own thread...
-
VICTOR MOSES!!!!! BEAST
-
GIVE THE BOY AN OSCAR FOR THAT GOAL.
-
Oscar you sexy sexy man, what a cross for Torres after flicking the ball over that wankers head haha! NO HOMO BTW
-
1 and a half minutes in and Luiz has already misplaced a basic pass my granny would wake to Ryan Bertrand... oh deary
-
Are you crazy or just stupid. "We need someone with a decent touch in and around the box/someone to finish the chances we are creating." DAVID VILLA MATE, DAVID FUCKING VILLA. Brilliant close control, brilliant finisher, not good enough or something?
-
Hes looking to provide Chelsea with the next set of Belgian superstars for about 15 years time haha! Na congrats to him if true.
-
passing to him in the games should result to a club fine of 50 grand too.
-
I don't feel I'm being harsh on Danny. I just feel he is vastly overrated because hes young and English. Happens with a lot of players, like Ross Barkley at Everton who we were linked to after ONE GAME for 25 million pounds...... my point exactly.

Chelsea in pole position for Guardiola

This. If Rinus Michels (man known for creating the idea of Total Football) didn't go to Barca, Cryuff probably wouldn't have ended up there and then you could say neither would Van Gaal have or Rikjaard. Effectively meaning Pep's team wouldn't suit the philosophy as much as they wouldn't have been brought up playing that sort of football in their academy so yeah... the Dutch influence in that club was at least 20 years of work which gave Pep a set of players tactically and technically good enough to try and recreate Total Football. Barca don't even play total football, its tiki taka which has much more emphasis on keeping the ball moving rather than the players interchanging positions to confuse the other team whilst keeping a good solid shape. -
You're underrating Moses. He has everything: talent, good attitude, ambition, pace, strength, footballing intelligence, tactical knowledge, ability scores goals and create them. Why can't he be a world beater with all that? Hes much further on in his development than Sturridge is right now. Marin is the Kalou replacement imo. Moses will be a first team player in a season or two time. Maybe he won't be on Hazard or Oscars level but he will be miles ahead of Sturridge. I have big hopes for him as does Robbie, hence why he talked so highly of him when he signed.
