  1. Signing players who make a difference doesn't mean he rebuilt the squad. Rebuilding a squad is like his first Chelsea team, Jose simply galvanized that team Inter that was basically assembled by Roberto Mancini and other coaches more or less with a few players he'd signed. Also Mourinho didn't make the Real Madrid squad, the president signed Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema, Alonso, Marcelo, Ramos, etc in his two different spells as the club president. Jose simply added to what he already had (signing Ozil, Khedira, Varane, Di Maria, Coentrao) and got rid of players he didn't want. The Real Madrid team was already an exceptional one just a team of individuals rather than a team and that always didn't work. Also the thing with Porto, Porto are the biggest club in Portugal, they have been for years now and they more than likely always will be. Jose's Porto team was special yes because they won the Champions League, they had some spectacular players but its not like Porto had never won trophies before or had the best players in Portugal until Mourinho arrived. Porto have dominated Portuguese football for the last 30-40 years due to an incredible structure, a good scouting system in place and the fact its pretty much a two horse race league. Mourinho usually bought players in their primes, as they could provide an instant impact. He bought the odd young player but he didn't regularly buy players like the club recently supposing we've bought Courtois, Piazon, Kalas, De Bruyne, Oscar, Moses, Azpi, Romeu, Hazard who are all 23 and under. He bought a lot of 25-27 year olds who could provide an instant impact, he didn't really buy/promote a lot of youngsters and develop them like what you see at Ajax or Barca under Pep and Rjikaard. His achievements at Porto were impressive, no doubt about it, but he hasn't really rebuilt a team since Chelsea in 2004. He hasn't changed more than half the personnel at any club hes been at since he was here. Every time Mourinho had the chance to stay at a club for the long term he left. Maybe at Chelsea it was a bit premature but maybe he could feel the players weren't the same as 2 or 3 years previous when we won the PL 2 seasons in a row. We knew the team needed an injection of youth since Carlo was the coach really. At Inter he left when the team was in desperate need of rebuilding, the majority of their squad was 30 year olds who were on high wages. Andrea Stramaccioni is now trying to rebuild Inter as other managers fail to. Mourinho has always chose to not stay at a club for the long term, hes always moved on and continued to win trophies.
  2. That is not rebuilding the squad though, thats only 3 players not exactly 7-10 or more players. More refreshing the squad than rebuilding it.
  3. Inter fans would disagree with what? That he rebuilt their squad? Most notably he signed Ricardo Queresma, Wesley Sneidjer, Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito. Can't particularly recall anyone else.
  4. Mourinho has never really built a team apart from the Chelsea team when he first arrived in 2004. Would he be the right man to rebuild the squad right now? We need a manager with a plan for the next 2 or 3 years I'm not exactly sure if Jose is really the man for that tbh even though I'd love him back at one point.
  5. I suppose after halfway through last season he struggled but he was overplayed. When hes on his day hes brilliant.
  6. Would have been one of the finest front lines in the world! Also imagine we could have had Drogba in there too instead of Villa...
  7. No I'm sure we'd have Silva and Mata along with David Villa maybe haha :P
  8. Wait you wanted Modric over Mata? What the fuck?
  9. Yeah he probably doesn't but I'd imagine he makes over 100k at least.
  10. Isn't his wages not like 60k and apparently Hazard makes 180k...
  11. Well at least the board are giving some players new contracts.
  12. The whole Roma teams work rate is brilliant. Pressing Milan like mad. Also Totti is doing some amount of defensive work!
  13. Its not an app its the match center on Squawka. Just used Gyazo or whatever it is called to get the images.
  14. He wouldn't have been signed if he couldn't become a world class forward!

  16. Was very impressed with him today against Arsenal. He completed 54 out of 63 passes (86% completion ratio). He also won 5 out of the 6 tackles he attempted today and completed 3 out of the 5 take ons he tried. Also made one interception.
  17. Mate Yacob is a full Argentine international, hes been picked ahead of Fernando Gago, Javier Mascherano, Ever Banega and other good MF players they have. He'd be a good buy in my opinion. Doesn't matter which club you play for, if you have the talent and ability you should be able to play at any level be it Champions League or Europa League.
  18. Never mind that I've done it, just do it with a few other strikers like you said you were going to do Lewandowski in yours, just include other strikers that have been linked to the club... it won't be the exact same and plus you have videos of the players to analyse so I'm sure yours would be much more in depth than mines...
  19. Oh.... you could still do one, I suppose since you've got the 14 different games you could analyse and that you'd write a much better one than mines Just do it anyway mate
  20. Hes unhappy that hes not playing and apparently they are considering selling him the summer I read on that Spanish blokes Sulia thing.
  21. Yeah we need an instinctive striker but right now I think Jelavic is suffering from second season syndrome as is Cisse at Newcastle. In all honesty, the transfers will only be agreed by the manager if the coach is Pep or maybe even Mourinho but apart from that it seems very very slim that any other coach will get a major say.
  22. Dortmund are going to sell him in summer, he won't renew his deal so that could make him attainable for maybe just about 20 million but only in the summer I'd imagine as the January transfer window is usually full of inflated prices.
  23. Yeah clubs always look to rip other clubs off just because its half a season in and its inconvenient for clubs to sell players for lower fees just for that reason really. January window sucks. I'd still take Pjanic in January though at the 12-14 million price quoted and Bony at 7-10 million too if it means we don't spend 50-60 million on one player in January.
  24. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20805697 must watch hahaha quality impressions, includes Rafa and Jose's take on the game vs Villa
