He obviously feels at Newcastle he demands more wages after scoring 13 goals this year and how every man last year for them and rightly so. So do you think hes going to just keep his Newcastle wages to move here? Of course he isn't. Fuck FFP, just fuck it. We signed like 5 deals at the start of the season to increase the amount money we available so why can't we give ONE player 80k p/w. Remember we spent over 100 million in the summer, FFP did fuck all about that. Also Ba is from Senegal, Chelsea is big in Africa because of players like Moses, Mikel, Drogba, Essien, Desailly etc. It increases our fan base because maybe Senegalese people will see their idol playing in Chelsea blue and think "Oh I want to support this team" or whatever Yes his knee is a problem but still, 7 million is low risk compared to 48 million for Falcao who also has a troubled past with injuries actually.

This guys got it haha. Anyway Lamps will go one way or another, we can keep him and use him but at the same time possibly using him more than youngsters like Oscar/De Bruyne/Josh etc. it hampers there development To develop you have to play games and if a 35 year old is playing 20 games a season its preventing young guys who haven't be on loan getting a game. Getting rid of him has its cons and so does keeping him as well as positives for both.
-
Thats true but if you want quality, you have to pay that little bit extra. 80k p/w is not that bad supposing he makes at least 50k p/w at Newcaslte. Ba gets 2 million out of the transfer fee I think and he splits it with his agents and advisers. I read we are also going to give an extra 2 mil for some reason.
-
7 million, 80k p/w and at least 15-20 goals a season is a steal. Rather than 50 million, 175k p/w and 2 goals per season. Ba since being in the PL has scored the third most goals since February 2011. If we are going to let this guy go to PSG/Arsenal/Liverpool when hes been banging them in for fun since 2011 because of 10k p/w or whatever then we are fucking idiots. Absolutely fucking crazy, give him the 80k p/w and give Newcastle the 7 million (which 2-2.5 million goes to him and his agents) means they get 4.5 - 5 million pounds for their best player. We pay Malouda about 100 odd K and hes training with the fucking kids but won't give Ba 80k p/w, absolutely fucking crazy.
-
Exactly. If he wants 80k p/w lets give it to him. He has 13 PL goals so far, imagine if he'd scored 13 PL goals for us we'd maybe still be sitting top of the pile. Really gotta push if we want this guy, can't let him go to Arsenal or PSG. Rate him highly, would score goals for fun in our team. A big improvement on Torres, big big big improvement. Also he'd be stupid to decline us just to provoke other clubs to try and sign him... I mean come on for fuck sake, why would he just negotiate with us and reject it to get other clubs wanting him? Chelsea is a bigger club than Arsenal, Liverpool and PSG... And his knee injury hasn't fucked up yet at Newcastle/West Ham, hes played 2-2 and a half seasons of football and scored like nearly 40 goals...

Who will be Lampard's long-term replacement?
OneMoSalah replied to The only place to be's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Hes the perfect candidate by the looks of it but he'll need to learn how to play as a CM rather than an AM. Hes got the right attributes just needs time to get used to being a CM. This could take years tbh. De Bruyne looks like someone who could be useful in where Lamps is playing too but I'm unsure. -
Give him 12 months with an option for another 12 based on appearances. Same with Cole. I'm sure both would get at least 20 appearances or whatever the contract appearances would be. Lampard is a decent option to throw on when we need a goal, he will be used more as a squad player but still a good one at that.

I reckon Australia would be a viable option if I didn't find an opportunity in London or around thereish. The only problem would be the weather sadly, I'd be burned like bacon cooking under a 400 degree grill for 4 hours.

I'll hopefully be fucking moving to London biatch, even though I dont know when how and why but yeah. Gonna finish school up here and college (maybe) or look for any sort of apprenticeships and then see. Or I will stay in Wick and eventually we will evolve into 21st century people.... in the 23rd century

Is that from Orkney? Says "Distilled in Kirkwall" so I think it could be....

Scotch. Fuck yeah.

Exactly. He didn't take the fact that we were playing a Villa side that put no pressure on the ball at all. Every time Luiz/Lamps had the ball they had about 15 yards free space to do whatever they wanted. Lampard and Luiz doesn't work because Luiz's positioning is constantly poor and he dives into simple tackles, loses them and a team of better quality would start exposing Lampard or where he should be as he usually marauding forward as if hes the CM version of Cafu (or he was in pre-season anyway). One of them needs to sit back the whole time, both were usually high up the pitch vs VIlla, if Villa pressed us and won the ball they would of easily then bypassed our midfield because both of them would have been in a more attacking position, then boom they could have a whatever v 2 or v 1 or whatever. Thank fuck Paul Lambert wasn't born with a brain.

Well that is alright then haha, as long as he keeps heading the ball to Cole/Azpi/one of our players I don't mind

I reckon Anichebe will start upfront, play as a focal point so they've got something to aim for with long balls/crosses. Reckon Branna and Cahill or whoevers in CB should be able to cope with Anichebe. I mean yeah hes a big lad but Luiz, Branna and Cahill are all excellent in the air.

I think from reading that article, it makes out Roman is refusing to give JT a new contract because of all the personal shit thats went on in the last few years.... what the fuck Roman, give JT a new deal and Cole while your at it buddy.
-
Well tbh, I live in a small town which is a shit hole. I'm sure your town isn't as bad as this shit hole. Ultimately I win. Not.

Ramires RW? To counter Baines?
-
Who? Tbh every young striker at Liverpool is apparently the next Michael Owen, even if they are 10 ft 4, slow as fuck and couldn't hit a barn door with a machine gun. So yeah never trust Liverpool fans. One Liverpool fan told me on twitter they were signing Wesley Sneidjer HAHA. Remember we have Feruz btw.

I'd hope he was saying it was the perfect partnership at the moment because saying that in the best partnership in the long term is daft because next we know it will be 2015 and Lamps will be 55 or whatever, even though I think Luiz and Mikel would be better in the pivot with Luiz venturing forward more.

Moses and Marin is the perfect partnership for what

Hate to sound arrogant and like I think I know it all but I think hes wrong because both players like to push up more than stay back and protect the back 4 which they both can't do in the double pivot so its not the perfect midfield partnership. Lampards not really a deep lying playmaker or a defensive midfielder and David Luiz isn't a playmaker, he is capable of being a defensive midfielder but still how is that the perfect partnership? Its Ramires - Mikel all over again. One player suits the pivot where as the other one not so much. Sure Lampard can play a few accurate long passes but hes not noted for being a playmaker in the same way Pirlo or Alonso is, is he? Luiz has all the characteristics to be a decent DM but his positional and tactical awareness is pathetic, he still dives in to foolish challenges that if he just reads the situation he doesn't pick up a booking/give away a foul. He still does unnecessary things as well when he needs to keep it simple and eventually we will get punished for it. To say after 1 or 2 games we have found the perfect MF partnership with Luiz and Lamps is very stupid on Pat Nevins part, hes a football man, he should know that you shouldn't judge 2 players playing together on one game. He should also realize we played Aston Villa, who were always likely to struggle against us. Anyway in my opinion a perfect partnership in the pivot is like Busquets - Alonso for Spain. Busquets breaks up play keeps it simple (like Mikel) where as Alonso is a regista and can play big 50-60 yard passes to split defenses/help his team exploit spaces in wide areas. Another similar partnership is like Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi and Claudio Marchisio for Italy, not exactly a double pivot but you know, they compliment each other very well. Pirlo (playmaker), De Rossi (defensive midfielder), Marchisio (box to box MF player).
