Gala was so shitttttt wow, also wheres the pub gone?
-
Direct replacement for Asier Illarramendi probably.
-
Inter will be a test, they have a few gifted players (Guarin, Kovacic, Icardi [who we were linked with], Handanovic) so it wont be a walk in the park. Confident we can win though, will be emotional for Jose too supposing its against Inter.

Footballers Whose Ugly Face You Just Want To Punch

Has Nile Ranger been mentioned, the cunts only gone and got his surname tattoo'd on his face hahahaha what a wanker. Cant find the photo but I seen FourFourTom post it on Sulia haha. -
Another good game from him today, I know the Indonesia All-Stars aren't exactly amazing but he looks in very good shape for the season coming up! Hes also taking set pieces and penalties, about fucking time.
-
He was excellent today, really good game offensively and defensively. Also talk about buccaneering fullbacks.. Bert and Wallace were bombing up and down!
-
Marco van Ginkel, Chelsea's jack of all trades. He looked very comfortable in the box to box role he played today and he also looked good as a holding midfielder in the other two games. Sure hes not played top opposition yet but if he plays in the game against Inter we'll get an ever better look at him in bigger games.
-
What a screamer he got today, he's impressed me more than any other player on pre-season bar the 3 Belgians, Lukaku, Hazard and De Bruyne.
-
Apparently hes stalling on a move to Cardiff as he wants a bigger club to sign him. Cardiff are reportedly paying 8.6m upfront with 1.5 in add ons, surely worth a punt at that price for back up to Mikel?
-
Offer Liverpool 40m plus Bertrand perhaps? If they are interested in Bert perhaps we can come to some sort of compromise over the price if hes included. Of course we'd need another back up LB then though.... or make a straight swap, 50m Torres for Suarez
-
4-3-3 perhaps? Depends on if KDB's fit though. Also means Jose has a chance to use (waste) Oscar in a central midfield position toooooo.... Cech Kalas-Ivanovic-Luiz-Cole Mikel Ramires------Van Ginkel De Bruyne------------------------Hazard Lukaku
-
Wouldn't say hes shit, hes still settling into the team, it could take him a while yet. Sure he hasn't impressed but last pre-season it was the same, a lot of players looked rather shit (Ivanovic, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Torres) so I think to say that Schurrle is shit (he's a new signing who's still settling into the team) is a bit harsh. Its just about fitness really, I'm sure he'll improve.
-
You don't always have to go forward though. Josh will sometimes try and force a 30 or 40 yard pass as opposed to playing a safer option, helping the team recycle possession.
-
Looks good so far. Good passing range, tackles well and knows when to sit and when to push up. Hoping to see him get among the goals as well. 9M could turn out to be a sound investment.
-
Hes apparently been 'on trial' for over a year now, just we cannot sign him due to work permit issues hmmm.. he looks a decent prospect.

Has anyone seen the article the sun has put up to report about Tito stepping down and Uniteds chances of getting Fabergas being boosted etc, some absolute garbage, totally disrespectful too. The caption for a photo of Tito is "its Vilan-over for Barca boss", find that totally unacceptable to write about a man who is fighting cancer. Still the article should if anything be on Tito and wishing him a recovery as opposed to going on about transfer talk. As AVB said 'Its not the moment to speak about speculation, we are speaking about a persons health." just that idiot Antony Kastrinakis who clearly doesn't feel like that though. Anyway hoping Tito gets well, AVB could suit Barca but still I don't see it. Has Marcelo Bielsa written all over it tbh.
-
Gutted, really wanted De Rossi to sign. Would love to see a Ramires - Van Ginkel pivot though, both can swap their roles during games, Marco would start as the 6 with Ramires being the box to box player but he could swap with Rami so Rami's the 6 and Marco's the box to box player.
-
I'd be happy if we signed this guy. Sure hes not developed as much as he could have due to Carlo not using him as much but he still has very good potential. Has some issues to sort out but he could be a top player.

Why we should go for Burak Yilmaz and not Wayne Rooney
OneMoSalah replied to Tomo's topic in Chelsea Articles
Hardly. If you think the Turkish league isn't a 2 horse race you've not been watching it. As I've said its the Turkish SPL. So what if Bursaspor one in once in like 135939593 years. Its the same with the SPL, Hearts split the Old Firm once.... As for your other point I'm not going to bother replying. -
how good are allnighters honestly so gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood, not feeling like shit, don't want to sleep now either or I'll end up getting up at like half 8...

No he was confused as to why he was left out of the bigger games. Not every game, the bigger ones (ie. the Madrid game in the CL). -
Why we should go for Burak Yilmaz and not Wayne Rooney
OneMoSalah replied to Tomo's topic in Chelsea Articles
I have to disagree with some points. Firstly since when was the Turkish league the best after the top 4? The Turkish league is effectively a more exotic SPL, after Galatasary and Fenerbache the standard is abysmal. The English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch and Italian leagues are all better than the Turkish league. Also there was a difference with SWP and what Rooney could be. SWP was used sparingly when he was at the club, his price was ridiculous but he wasn't exactly the worst signing we've ever made. Rooney has been a phenomenal player the last 10 years or whatever his career has been, nobody can deny that. SWP was average but Rooney is something else. Yilmaz has had a few great seasons but hes playing in the Turkish league, so you cannot say hes going to score 80 something goals in 3 PL seasons. He was prolific in Europe with Galatasary, scored 8 goals but thats a one off I'd say. Hes not spectacular, hes not going to have a similar impact to what Rooney will. Why does everyone seem to think if Rooney came he'd demand 1st place even if he was playing shit? he knows how football works, if your playing shit, your on the bench and if your playing well you play games. If Lukaku was out performing him he'd be playing and Rooney would have to accept that. The wages issue I partly agree on, even though their is no proof Rooney is on 250k p/w, just shitty stories the media write. If you believe half of those then JT and Lampard are on 200k p/w.... Rooney is probably on something like 150k or 175k would hardly bet hes making over 200k at United. He'd be the highest paid player in the country by a mile... You can't say Rooney's past it because hes been re-positioned for the last 2 years. Hes been playing as a #10 since Hernandez arrived in 2011. Hes also annoyed because Moyes effectively called him a squad player the other day.... it looks more likely Mourinho will go for Rooney over Yilmaz and if he did say go for Yilmaz over Rooney, I'd be extremely pissed off as Rooney is much much better. -
People forget Mata played more to the right for a bit under RDM and he did alright. He'll do good on the right and if Ramires plays right side of the pivot he will be more than capable to cover for him. If hes playing on the right wing, he'll be coming in field all the time so it might mean he'll shoot more like that goal he scored against Arsenal under AVB in that 5-3 game. Will save me shouting 'fucking shoot' at him when hes in more central positions trying to work onto his left the whole time.

Happy Birthday to the Scouse hating bastard that is We Hate Scouse, have a good one mate.

I think him and Lamps should be squad players. In my eyes our strongest option in the pivot is Mikel or Ramires next to Van Ginkel (not just judging him on his performance yesterday but for the Holland u21s he looked very very comfortable as the deepest midfielder as well as a box to box midfielder), he looks like he could be an all round midfield player. Plus Jose's adamant Van Ginkel is going to play, he has said hes ready to play numerous times so I think he will be a starter. If we can sell Essien for a decent fee I'd be happy with that too but having Essien as a squad player is alright I suppose.
