  1. He never really had a chance on the big stage until he signed for Inter. Sure Genoa is a decent sized club but they werent in the CL.
  2. I like Milito... would hardly call him average, he scored a goal in every 2 games at most clubs he played for, is that average supposing he played for lesser teams like Racing Club, Genoa, Real Zaragoza where they weren't exactly blessed with quality players in every position? The man scored 4 goals against Real Madrid IIRC in 2006 or 2007. That itself is a feat.
  3. I'd have Karim, if he got himself back into the form from that season he won La Liga, there's no doubting his ability just his work ethic is shit and he is a bit of a greeting shitbag with slight attitude problems. 20-30m would be a decent deal. Plus he'd be undisputed first choice here where as Real he might not be depending on if they sign Suarez or another striker and also keep Higuain.
  4. Haha Ray obviously enjoyed himself a bit too much that night.
  5. Has anyone ever considered the possibility of using Andre Schurrle up top as a false 9 or just an out and out striker?
  6. Pep is a wanker. I can see him just dumping Gustavo out in the wilderness as if he doesn't exist now that hes get Thiago. Also what about young Sebastien Rode? Can't see him getting any minutes at all unless Pep reinvents him into some sort of utility man like that Adriano cunt. If he plays 4-2-3-1 he has got like five players who can operate as a #10, Thiago, Gotze, Kroos, Ribery, Muller and even Shaqiri in fact.... so 6 there, somebodies bound to be unhappy. If he plays 4-3-3 then Martinez will be deployed at CB (fuck you Pep you evil bastard, Martinez was unreal next to Schweini in the CL games against Barca and Dortmund especially) for when Kroos is fit again as Kroos is class, he won't rotate Kroos and Thiago, he'll start both with Schweini as the third man I reckon. Hes such a cunt isn't he, he didn't even need Thiago....
  7. Best of luck to you Doni Did a great job on here.
  8. Also that Brazilian Kelton or Kelron (can't remember, the guy who did the seal dribble trick anyway in a u20 world cup game) didn't live up to his potential. Didn't he not sign for Inter Milan then end up back in Brazil not long after?
  9. What about players who never fulfilled their potential to the full like say Guti at Madrid, who could have been so much more than what he was... Also Fernando Gago never lived up to the hype. John Fleck at Rangers crumbled under the pressure and never became what he was meant to be, which wasn't world class to any extent but better than the shite cunt he is now. Obviously Michael Johnson was a big one in the PL. Don't know what happened to him but the last I seen of him he was this big bloated fella with a beard. Javier Saviola too, hes had a decent career but he could have been massive.
  10. Fuck Cavani, what a slut moving to PSG.
  11. Juan Fernando Quintero who just signed for Porto from Pescara, mentioned him in the general transfer thread ages ago. Keep an eye out for him in the next few seasons, will be the next player Porto sell for like 30 million. Had a good u20s world cup with Columbia too this summer. Also I liked Calvin Harris before he became as big as he is now in the music industry.
  12. Haha I have three words for the members who intend to slate me for such comparison in the next 7 minutes or so "suck my balls"
  13. If we get Rooney, I believe we'd have the best front 4 in England and one of the best in Europe, by a sheer mile. Rooney as the front man, hes a technically gifted player who can interchange with the 3 behind him. He has a footballing brain, as do Mata, Hazard and Oscar, it would be incredible to see them link up. Rooney could come deeper to get the ball, opening up spaces similar to what Messi does for Barca, drawing his marker out allowing Mata/Hazard/Oscar to have more room to receive the ball in/get into goal scoring positions due to the fact hes moved a player out of his position receiving the ball/looking to receive the ball. He can also play as a pure 9, getting onto the end of crosses/scoring goals in and around the box.
  14. Thiago can play as an 8 as well as being able to play as a 10.
  15. Great signing for Bayern if its true. They will be incredible again next season you can just tell.. even though I hate Pep, fuck you Pep.
  16. I have no doubts that Bayern will play 4-3-3 under Pep, so probably be more like -------------Neuer------------- ---------------------------------- Lahm-Martinez-Dante-Alaba ---------------------------------- -----------Gustavo------------ ---------------------------------- --Schweini---Kroos/Thiago- ---------------------------------- --Muller---------------Ribery-- ----------------------------------- --------------Gotze--------------
  17. Nice 3-0 win to get us back into the grove would be nice. Hoping to see van Ginkel, Schurrle, Schwartzer, De Bruyne and Lukaku get minutes.
  18. Lalkovic is no where near good enough for the first team even if its just a squad place, hes not done anything decent yet and I don't expect he'll make the grade here. Isn't he not like in his early 20s now?
  19. Hoping Jose or one of his staff could potentially come up with a fitness schedule to get JT back into top shape like Rafa done with Torres. It might not make him a better defender but hes struggled with injuries a lot so maybe it could help.
  20. so he gets 16 which means we wont sign De Rossi... great logic. We've just signed Schwartzer but he always wore #1 at Fulham wowowowowoowowowowo Cech out guys...... naaaaaat calm down.
  21. Good signing. Nice to see we didn't bow down to Norwichs massive price for Ruddy and told them to fuck off and brought another player in.
  22. or if we do sell Ba and sign a class striker but out of the three we have right now thats what I think their orders are.
  23. Ba first choice, Lukaku second choice, Torres third choice/out
  24. Bottom of the pecking order? I'd put Torres there or sell him. Ba is capable of scoring 20+ goals a season, you'd think with the players we have here he'd easily score that if he was played more than twice a month like under Rafa. Lukaku has the potential but he still has a bit to go yet to be better than Ba imo. He will eventually be better, a lot better but for now in my eyes Ba should be our starting striker with Romelu being second choice. Torres can just get to fuck.
  25. I'd say Ba based on how well he did at Newcastle over the last 2 years is probably our best option at CF. Lukaku will get a few starts and that but as seen at WBA he was effective coming off the bench with 30 minutes to go or something.
