  1. I loved this guys performance vs Swansea (ok it was a few weeks ago but yeah). Hes a bundle of energy, full of pace, attacks spaces very well and in 1v1s he looks like he is difficult to stop without fouling due to the fact he can shift the ball so quickly. His finishing was a bit erratic with the chances he had especially when he skied that chance in the first half vs Swansea but I still think that's something Mourinho could iron out of him. Obviously hoping he starts against Liverpool on the right he could cause Daniel Agger/John Flanagan a whole lot of problems with his willingness to run in behind them and take them on in 1v1s.
  2. Tbh I am a big fan of Kovacic, have been since he burst onto the scene at Dinamo Zagreb few years back but I think out of the two Rakitic is much more ready to play in the PL as he is more mature and usually makes the right decisions which sometimes Kovacic doesn't. Kovacic is a interesting prospect but I think he needs more time to grow and mature as a player before coming to a club like Chelsea and Inter and Italy in particular is a decent place for him to progress still for another year or two. I haven't seen much of Kovacic since around January or February but I don't really bother watching Inter anymore lol.
  3. He chose PSG because they were the only cunts stupid enough to pay 60m euros for him....
  4. Put it this way, Moses will have a PL winners medal this season and Hazard wont....... how fucking sad lol.
  5. He played at Napoli, one of the most counter attacking teams that have been in Europe in the last four or five years, for fuck knows how long so how would he not fancy our style?
  6. Marco playing in that box to box role next to Matic sounds appealing to me if hes fit enough to start again Liverpool. The two of them together would be good; two strong, powerful, athletic players with good technical ability surely couldn't be too bad an idea?
  7. Hes an all-round midfield player can pass, tackle, shoot, create chances and all that other stuff, sure on paper it seems he plays as a 10 but he doesn't. He really has a free role in Sevilla's system and can go wherever he wants to be like in that 10 position or come deeper and play as a deep lying midfield player. He would do a job next to Matic for sure plus he has a good engine and can get up and down with ease. Really impressed me against Valencia earlier as well as Bacca, would be an interesting buy.
  8. Best all round midfield player on the planet but I doubt he will leave any time soon as Juventus are Juventus.
  9. Lol I said it before and I'll say it again £30 million for a 18 year old full back is just horrible business even if hes going to be a future England international for the next 15 years or not. Who the hell pays over £20m for a fullback bar Real Madrid cause they are stupid cunts? I still find it hard to believe we payed 15 or 16m/however much it was for Jose Bosingwa.
  10. Kid is still learning, hes in his second season of European football. He needs a summer off though. Still a diamond in the rough, lacks a bit of precision when it comes to the final ball at times and his control can still be clumsy but hes only 22, give him a fucking chance.
  11. If its another half-hearted performance, we get absolutely smashed. Atletico will turn up for sure, look at the season they have had so far, they have been outstanding in La Liga and the Champions League, if we weren't in the Champions League I'd say they would be in the final for sure tbh, they just have that dark horse feeling about them like Dortmund did when they got to the quarter finals last year.
  12. Everyone makes mistakes, he lost his cool and fucked up once sure but sell him hahahahaha pathetic or play lesser players like Chalobah against smaller sides because of this, hahahahaha, even worse. If we are going to want to hound players out of the club for stuff like this then surely it won't be long before someone starts posting shit to try and hound Jose out for some of the shit he pulls in pressers and interviews and touchline incidents etc? Embarrassing really. Anyway on to Ramires as a footballer, I personally think hes had a bit of an up and down season, but until we get a better player to play next to Matic or in a midfield 3 with him and Matic he will start every week as he is the best we have along sides Nemanja and quite right.
  13. Has to be the stupidest thing I've seen posted on here EVER. Maybe cost us a title by not passing to Salah? Who says Salah would have scored, in fact I would have bet more on Eto'o scoring than Salah tbh.
  14. If PSG are stupid enough to pay 50m or more for him then we'd be a bit daft to not consider it maybe imo. Willian has made him look very average when hes played more centrally in times, although predominantly playing right wing but with Schurrle starting to look better and better as the season goes on and perhaps the want to balance the books to invest big in a striker its something to potentially look at although we aren't normally a selling club. I wouldn't sell him for anything that isn't silly money though.
  15. If Mourinho deems him not good enough I will believe it. Same with Di Matteo with Sturridge. Sure he could goto Spurs or Liverpool or Arsenal and score 20 plus goals a season but if he is thought that he cant hack it at Chelsea by a world class coach better than every other one in the PL then he's no use really is he? Also he wanted out after that penalty miss.... really I don't know why? Can't deal with a very very demanding coach and his expectations? Remember being angry at Jose selling Mata? I was too but he sold him, signed Matic and Salah and we went from a little horse (his words... not mines...) to genuine contenders for the PL when everyone thought City would walk it after the first 3 months. Who says he doesn't sell Lukaku for 20-25m (more than hes worth right now for a fact, given how inconsistent he has been at Everton and West Brom although he has got 30 odd goals in effectively 2 seasons) and replace him with a Diego Costa, Benzema, Mandzukic, Cavani or Falcao level player?
  16. In the cases of De Bruyne, Schurrle (in the early phases of the season), Sturridge (under Di Matteo): I feel there is a difference playing at a smaller club like Werder Bremen or Bayer Leverkusen - with less pressure and expectation - to playing at Chelsea where there is lots of pressure and expectation which can make some players struggle mentally (which I feel De Bruyne struggled with) and there is also a hell of a difference playing 17 or 18 games at Bolton as a CF to playing week in week out as a CF at a massive club like Chelsea. The De Bruyne thing, you could also argue is the same for Lukaku, he missed a penalty in the Super Cup and apparently wanted to leave? I mean that speaks for itself, he probably felt he couldn't deal with that sort of pressure every week from a very demanding fan manager who is needing the team to be very successful no matter what due to a ruthless owner and a very demanding fan base (lets be honest, we were all half expecting us to be in the running for the title if not to win it this year due to Jose coming back).
  17. He knew what he was doing but hes come out looking a bit daft for saying such things about our strikers and I think hes trying to make out he knew nothing about it being 'recorded' which I doubt very very much.
  18. The fact he demanded 75k a week to stay at City when he was 19 or 20.... surely he must not have had that much a ego thinking hes worthy of that wages... no?
  19. Lol he was good but you remember Arsenal had 10 men for however long and didn't try and pressure the ball at all so he had the space and time to play those passes. Sure hes a great player I'd take him but not just because of tonight where he played well against 10 men trying to not pressure the ball...
  20. Sure since when has one MF player managed to stop players like Ribery, Robben and Muller who constantly interchanged and popped up wherever they wanted to? Would like to know, even Sergio Busquets the best holder in the world struggled against them in the next year when they played a much more disciplined style before they reached the final. They created 34 chances that night against us, a team Robbie set up which we were happy to let them come and shoot from 30 yards out and try to create a lot of 'clear cut chances' when it was obvious they would struggle against a very low block. I'll say it again, Mikel gave his best performance for us that night and I stand by that hes our best holding player since Maka. Sure he didn't play in the Europa League final but we were abysmal in the Europa League final, MF was all over the place, had no real control on the game at all so to say that him not playing in that game is justified or even trying to hint at it is a stupid move given how bad our MF was.
  21. Maybe his final ball isn't poor but 0 assists in nearly 30 games for a winger I would tend to say it is but I suppose I haven't seen much of him other than the Europa League and Champions League as well as some Olympics games for Egypt but that was close to 2 years ago. Still though I think its wrong to blame him for the City match, he came on for a bit and couldn't get into the game as well as most of our team. Hes a young lad, Mourinho will mold him into the player he wants him to be and I'm certain he'll be a very good one.
  22. Mikel is still our best holding player, not getting into any arguments with anyone who disagrees either. There is a reason why hes been playing for us so regularly under so many different managers since he was signed and that we have never looked to replace him*. When we see a Chelsea midfield player play so well against a massive European team like Mikel did against Bayern in the biggest game in the clubs history then we will talk. Best holding player we've had since Maka and I stand by that. *also don't say to me Matic was signed to replace Mikel. Matic was signed as we were short in CM in the first place, the fact that we got rid of Essien too was a major factor as well the fact Lamps is 35 and can't play every game in a position where he has to be very disciplined.
  23. Hes still got to evolve as a player as hes only 21 or 22, his final ball is very poor and he is erratic in front of goal at times as we've seen in the game vs Newcastle but he has all the similarities to Arjen Robben who Mourinho helped develop into a quality player. A wee bit of time is needed. Sure we could have spunked out 30m and perhaps should have on a much more ready player but we didnt.
  24. Lets put it this way David Luiz is an inconsistent player, he can be good one game and terrible the next. There is no average performances its one or the other. Mourinho has identified his faults hence why hes struggled to be a regular for us this season and its looking like the Juan Mata scenario all over again. Luiz is a lovable player, passionate, always smiling and all but Mourinho will sell him if he wants to. Mourinho's striving for as close to a perfect team as it can be, he sees Terry and Cahill as his best CBs right now (based on how often they've started together especially in the bigger games). I think Luiz will be sold and replaced in the same way Mata was I think. Mourinho runs the transfers, not Abramovich or Emenalo as much now, hence why he was allowed to sign 32 year old Samuel Eto'o, sell Mata and replace him with a much more 'Mourinho profiled player' in Salah. Zouma will probably come in to replace Luiz next season I feel either that or we will get another CB, especially if he can offload Luiz to Barca/Bayern for a fair whad of money. I mean it speaks volumes when your 'world class CB' is playing in CM while Gary Cahill is playing ahead of him in his natural position.
