More concerned how shit like that makes the news at a major paper? Do they really have nothing else to write about?

He was only in pre-season in Brazil I'm sure, pretty harsh to judge him without even letting him get a chance but at Milan he was one of the most outstanding young players in Europe and everyone would of taken him then before he had his huge injury issues. The last 2 or 3 years in Brazil he has been injury free so lets see what happens when he gets match fitness, he cant be worse than Falcao.

To be fair the likes of Aguero, Hazard, Suarez and Sanchez had bulked up a bit anyway, Sanchez in particular had to bulk up when he left Chile to go to Italy and then after at Barca and Aguero was the same after leaving Argentina. Hazard is also a small guy who has impressive upper body strength and I also read that Wenger made Ozil bulk up a wee bit when he joined Arsenal and would assume that Silva would of had to do the same. Its fair to assume that Musonda could do with a bit more upper body strength, hes a young lad but as we've seen in England with Ross Barkley and Harry Kane you sometimes need to be a bit more athletic and have a betterphysical condition as opposed to playing in Spain, Italy and Belgium because you play opponents who will kick you and will push you and try to shove you around a lot more. Even Neymar had to bulk up after leaving Santos to play for Barcelona.

Don't see the fuss, hes been a big part of the teams resurgence since Guus came in to be honest. He deserves his place in the team ahead of Matic right now.

Fabregas is so good it is unbelievable. Some of his passes in the first half were exceptional. Pedro's movement has been great too.

He looked good against Madrid the other night, has great quality.

If we get Simeone I want him to turn Hazard in to what he turned Arda Turan into, a great attacking player but one who understood his duties in pressing and defending. Arda Turan is the player Simeone trusted to man mark Ronaldo.

Free Kenedy.... Ha. Where has he been the last wee whiley? He was good in the games he got before he disappeared out of the squad.

I think perform like a superstar for 3 seasons is a huge inaccurate statement. He is a very good player obviously but his first season he was very much in Mata's shadow and inconsistent which is understandable considering he was in his first season here, in the second season he was a bit more consistent and showed a lot more improvement in terms of tactical discipline too and then last season he was excellent for most of it but his biggest issue is people who bigged him up as a superstar as soon as he signed on the dotted line (sorry its not a direct dig at yourself if you think it is, there were very many who thought that he was as soon as he signed so please don't take it personally) so he got some sort of immunity to criticism, regardless if he was due it or not. This season he is due more criticism than anybody, people criticized Terry, Cesc, Costa at the start of the season but they took it on the chin and they have now bounced back, Hazard hasn't and now he has gone and talked up some sort of mystery move to PSG which also doesn't help his case. You didn't see Cesc, Diego or anybody else talking about this sort of speculation saying 'it would be hard to say no to PSG' (or Atletico in Costa's case/Juventus in Cesc's case) or whatever, he should be concentrating on football, not about maybe going to Paris because hes found it hard. This is why the fans are angry, because he is an exceptionally talented player, we've seen his evolution in the last 3 years and it has been great but now he seems more interested in leaving than playing great football for Chelsea FC, its clear to see in his body language this year on the pitch that he isn't satisfied at Chelsea and honestly if he leaves he wouldn't be missed by a large majority of fans purely because of this reason.

I don't think PSG would really be a good move but he wouldn't get into that Barcelona or Real Madrid starting eleven either and I doubt even Bayerns when everyone is fit. He might have to stay here, even if he doesn't want to.

Yes I know that but playing like tonight and the rest of this season? Why would PSG take him? Di Maria has been exceptional for them and Lucas Moura has also been good in patches. He needs to get back to half the player he was last season at least if he thinks he can just go to PSG and displace someone like Di Maria on the left wing.

Good performance, very industrious as well as a threat going forward, although at times he lost Di Maria going back the way but neat and tidy in possession, rarely gave it away and had a decent half chance if you want to call it that at the end. I think he and Willian have to start our next game for sure, the third slot is a choice between Hazard, Oscar or Kenedy as Hazard wasn't good, Oscar didn't have enough time and Kenedy has impressed in bursts this year but I don't know why he hasn't been in the squad recently.

Tbf he won't get in the PSG team playing like that.

When we played our best stuff he was heavily involved. He also did so much defensive work, which so many people criticize him about., sure he doesn't quite have the mobility that PSG have in Matiudi and Verrati but he has that ability to control a game/be influential and with Mikel next to him in various phases of the game he did good but when PSG started to push and push they outnumbered us in midfield and started to overrun us which can happen.

Why was it a bad move? What did Hazard do all game? Not very much. Sure he has been a great player for us in the previous seasons but this year he has been so average at times and just didn't offer too much bar one or two little flashes of what he can do. Willian and Pedro's performances were much better as well as the fact Pedro and Willian offered more than what they do going forward although. If Oscar stuck that chance from Cesc's pass in for 2-1 it would have been the right sub, although it probably was the most ideal sub we could make anyways. Hazard absolutely has to take these games by the scruff of the neck if he wants to be truly be one of the top players like Messi, Ronaldo or Neymar.

Quite liked the look of him at times tonight but still has a lot to learn, sometimes he looks like he can be sloppy in possession and gives the odd bad pass if you get what I mean, maybe not a clean connection/risky that puts team mates under pressure but the cross for Costa's chance was superb although the other times he got into a crossing position he was quite wasteful. Hope he stays in the team, the whole back 4 tonight was very good and they should be retained for the next matches.

Brilliant tonight, he is excellent no matter where he plays if its right back or if its left back. Di Maria is a world class player and in my opinion Dave was brilliant against him, got really tight to him.

He certainly is overrated, he is nowhere near as good as Roberto Martinez or any pundits these days make out, like I said he takes too many risks to be a top top CB, he is like a less talented English David Luiz... the likes of Rio Ferdinand and JT were top top defenders, who could play out but they also knew when to put there foot threw the ball and get it away instead of fannying about with it thinking he is Pele. John Stones is trying to obviously play out which he can do very well but there is always a time when you need to stop trying to be too smart and play percentages, like the game against Swansea what was he doing even attempting to pass that back to Howard? Play for a throw in instead of dribbling it out the box before doing a stupid feint thing like a smart arse. You wouldn't have caught guys like John Terry, Rio Ferdinand or even Gary Cahill or Chris Smalling doing that.

Because he is an attacking player, who obviously will lack certain defensive attributes, I mean yes attacking fullbacks are a huge part of the game but the good ones can also defend, Alba, Marcelo, Alaba, Filipe Luis, Ricardo Rodriguez, Alex Sandro etc are all particularly good at both attacking and defending. I don't see the point in turning a kid who isn't a defender into a defender when he has played on the left wing for us and looked better than everyone else who has played there for us this season.

Ozil is probably the best number 10 in the world. There is no debate comparing both Ozil and Sanchez, if I were to have one it would be Ozil because he makes everyone else around him better. Sanchez adapted better perhaps and scores more goals but Ozil is fundamental to Arsenal where as they can cope a bit better without Sanchez due to having more wide players like Walcott, Campbell, Oxlade-Chamberlain. Real binned Ozil because they could get over 40M for him to try and even their books for buying Bale, the fact he was concerned about his role in their team and also with them playing 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 Ozil doesn't particularly fit that tactics because he is a pure 10. The same happened with Di Maria when they signed James, they sold him to balance their books because they knew they would get a silly fee for him and he wanted to go so he could definitely play. Imagine if Real had kept Ozil though wow. Benzema Ronaldo-Ozil-Bale Kroos-Modric Back to Chelsea-Arsenal anyway lol, I generally hope Costa starts, as well as Hazard but if he is not 110% would like to see Kenedy thrown in there. I think we will win this one tbf.

Derisory 20 M pounds bid ? Or a realistic price for a hugely overrated center half? You decide. If we pay anything over 30M for him in the summer then we have lost the plot. We really will have. We went after Marquinhos after failing to get Stones, I'm still confused why we didn't go after Marquinhos to start with if we really wanted him or even Laporte if we wanted a young CB.

Not too convinced about Koeman, obviously good history as a player and decent as a coach and sure Southampton play half decent football but still if we cannot attract a better manager than him then we really are fucked.

Didn't Bamford not play for Boro mostly as a right midfielder last year?

Really? When he has come on for Pedro in recent weeks he has excelled and given our team a huge lift, why put him back to LB where he will have much less of an effect for the team? Kenedy isn't afraid to take people on and is always looking to go forward and he is the ideal back up for Hazard in my eyes, or possibly even compete on the right side, although I like him better on the left because he provides good width and makes good darts in behind. I think if we actually had a left footed left back who played regularly nobody would want us to play Kenedy there, so the sooner Baba gets games or we sign another LB to play every week the better, because I feel it would kill his development. Also Marcelo and Alaba are two world class players, I think its fair to say to compare Kenedy's potential in any position to those two is unfair on him.
