  1. Feruz was unlucky not to get at least a brace.
  2. It is unlikely that 35 goals are going to be scored in the 6 games before our match today, so it's either in the Man city vs Arsenal game or early in the next round.
  3. Milan are very unpredictable, especially in the CL. Arsenal are in good form (well van persie is in good form) but remembering Milan's games vs Barcelona in the group stage, I would say that this match up could go either way.
  4. I believe they are Ramires, Meireles and Lampard.
  5. A win at Tottenham is practically 6 points for us. Most important game we will play this month. (yes, even more important than the City match)
  6. Yes Napoli is a more difficult game than Zenith for example but I think that is only true on paper. When it comes down to the field, all 8 teams have great talent in their squads and all will put up a hell of a fight, especially on at home.
  7. I think we have the ability to pass them of the field if we start the attack from the back, just like we did at the Reebok, especially with Luiz coming back for this one. Do you agree? Or is their midfield better than Bolton's?
  8. I honestly don't think we can judge him yet, he needs at least a couple of years more to show what kind of player he is. All I know from what I've seen from the man so far is that he is not ready for first team action.
  9. And what game in the CL isn't a difficult game? Just look at the Genk game away if you want proof.
  10. If they all suite what our club needs, then yes.
  11. I think getting an away goal will be crucial. In the return leg at the bridge, it will probably be a good idea to use the same tactic we adopted against Valencia. If we give them possession we'll be eliminating the factor of pace (their best asset imo) from their attack, and hit them on the counter.
  12. You misunderstood me. I meant that Chelsea won't sign a renowned player for less than triple his value. It has nothing to do with Pato, whom I don't think we should sign for any price.
  13. 25 millions for Pato? No way we'd take him for less that 75!
  14. I thought we should have a thread to keep up with what every one else is doing in the Transfer market. PS: Please try to stay away from crazy rumors. I'll get the ball rolling here: Landon Donovan is set to rejoin Everton on a two-month loan. http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/16209648.stm http://www.mlssoccer...ortlands-new-dp Trezeguet is moving back to Argentina to join River Plate. http://www.soccernew...a-return/84863/ http://soccernet.esp...r-plate?cc=4716
  15. This is exactly the kind of signing I expect AVB to make. An under-rated player that will cost less but deliver more. Personally I'd take him over Cahil anyday.
  16. Tough Draw. Was hoping for Zenit, but hey, it's more fun to do it the hard way.
  17. Well neither does Llorente or Soldado. He has little choice.
  18. This is no news. He suffered a set back of 10 days a couple of weeks ago which postponed his expected return from the start of Jan to it's middle. I doubt he was going to be chosen to play in the ACoN anyways, Ghana does have other players, you know. It's not that serious, Sky are just being dramatic to get more views.
  19. That looks very painful. And at his age he'll be lucky to be back in form in 6 months.
  20. I believe he is fit again. AVB said in the pre-match conference that only Essien is out.
