It's about short-term or long-term success. This is what I, and many other members where saying during AVB's time here. We, as a club, had a choice to make between instant gain, by firing Andre and getting our older players a manager they like, or long-term gain by keeping Andre, trusting his philosophy and the style of play he was trying to implement and raising our younger players on that philosophy. You are right, there is no proof that had we kept AVB we would turn into a club with stability and one that integrates youth players on a regular basis like Bayern, but that certainly won't happen with our current policy with managers. You can't say that the trophies we've won the last 10 years have been because of us firing managers. There are tons of other variables the most significant of those is the amount of money we spent. Our success has been largely been thanks to that. But eventually, as Neville points out in the article, you are going to run out of top-quality managers that are willing to join your club. My fear is that we are turning into a club that is largely unattractive to managers and players.
Most of the times it is several people answering the questions unless I can't find a forum that allows me to post them. Thanks for letting me you never read them, Rmpr
Completely agree. I made this same point before we signed him and was called an idiot. With the likes of Mata and Hazard, all it takes is a good finisher and he can easily get 20 goals a season if he stays fit.
Ferguson really fucked up with this one. That goal aside, he has been amazing whenever he plays. It's like watching Patrik Viera! Pogba just scored another screamer! EDIT: Here it is: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xww34g_pogba-2-spherachannel_sport#from=embediframe
Nice little interview with him: http://m.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/10172716.Kane_sure_he___s_able_to_play_part_at_Blackburn_Rovers/ Some Rovers fans were saying he was their best man today.
Agreed. Josh was doing well next to Leadbitter, but the Boro manager said he wanted him further up front to dribble past players and take on shots; said he does it well in training. Completely baffles me, tbh.
