This so hilarious: Saturday: Chelsea won't offer JT a contract and he is leaving. Sunday: Chelsea keen to offer JT a contract and he will stay. Monday: Chelsea offer JT a coaching role but he wants playing contract. You have to give the fail some props for creativity...and for having no problem in contradicting themselves three times in three days.

I heard there was going to be a chant for Jose on the 51st minute for his birthday, not chants against him. But didn't hear that either. Thought it was generally quite overall which you might have expected with the week Chelsea fans have had. No mention on Twitter? That settles it then!

Where there chants for Essien, Mata and Jose as planned, because on the TV I couldn't hear anything.

Shame, I really like him. What he did with Egypt in 2009 was simply extraordinary. And that finish in the final of the AFCON is one of my favorite non-Chelsea goals.

Mido is probably the best Egyptian to have played in the EPL. Now there are El Mohammadi and Naji "Gedo" (brilliant player, btw, but hasn't really been given a chance).

Random bump, but Al Jazeera got Jody Morris this weekend and I have to say, he's pretty good which is odd because most of the pundits they usually get are terrible. But Jody seems to make a lot of sense and it's great to hear from him about some of the things from the training ground since he is coaching here now.
