The point was that his short passing was off yesterday and that has nothing to do with the role he's playing as he's expected to make those short passes regardless of where he plays on the pitch, unless you think his previous role was a being a goal keeper.. I actually think he was doing better than the start of the season in the games against Tottenham and Steaua, but yesterday he was pretty poor apart from the goal.

Oscar has been our best player this season, Scurrle has been excellent and tactically very important for Jose, Mata has been very good since Swindon and now Willian goes and does what he did today. I do NOT want to be Jose and make the selection decisions after the international break!

I actually wanted Ba to start because Norwich are a bit too physical for Eto'o. I had a moan when the goal went in and I, along with everyone on my TL, had been begging for changes for more than ten minutes because the change in momentum was so obvious. But credit to Jose, he took a chance by bringing on Hazard and playing Schurrle as a LB and it paid off (even though we got incredibly lucky with the second goal).

Jose said that he did not know about the injury when he took him off, so he did not ask to be subbed off which probably means it's not as bad as we thought. On the game, he was good in the second half, but in the first he got caught out so many times by the ball over his head.

Excellent in the first 15 minutes, pretty poor in the remaining 75. Misplaced way too many simple passes and went missing for ages in the second half. Our formation just doesn't suite him.

Ramires and Lampard attracted out of position too easily leaving a lot of spaces behind which is why Norwich managed to create something almost every time they went forward in the second half. Our fullback's positioning, especially Cole, was very bad at times. It was weird today, because we weren't exactly committing a lot of men forward, yet we always looked short at the back! The plan was to play long balls over the top for Demba Ba, at least in the first half. So Frank was by far the best option as was evident by the first goal which was created by Frank's first time long ball. But still, his passing was in excusable at times. And someone who can miss the first man needs to start taking those corners.
