  1. Of course not! Why would Arsenal get Benzema? He'd just be another Giroud!
  2. Doesn't that just make her a whore!
  3. But didn't the previous studies show that it's not safely possibly to increase the capacity?
  4. That's like telling the girlfriend you're trying to get rid off that you're seeing other people only for her to reply that she doesn't mind sharing you!
  5. Wait, who are 'they'? I only read the last couple of posts!
  6. They are actually similar. But Benzema's movement and link-up are on a different level. I actually like Giroud.
  7. Hmm, well I'm very unfamiliar with PP, but if the issue is only with transferring to our account, maybe you can transfer what you wish to donate to someone here who has PP account and has donated in the past, like @The Skipper, if he's willing of course, and have them then donate it? (This is assuming, of course, that there are no fees involved in transferring money using PP)
  8. So it's asking you for your credit card number now even though you were able to set up your account without one? Is this happening only here or are you able to use the account elsewhere?
  9. Sorry, as far as I know, you can only donate using PayPal because of the way that Jim pays for the server costs. Sorry about that, but if Jim has not replied then he's probably either not seen your PM or been too busy to answer. I don't know much about PayPal but what can I help you with?
  10. He's going to be ver expensive between the fee and the wages. Jake Cohen reckons about 9.2m for 4 years. But we can afford it with the business we've made the past year.
  11. Yes, I'm sure he would much rather play for Spurs...
  12. Obviously not, because you got a lot of likes for that! Honestly, it's no surprise to me that he is underrated because while his finishing can be inconsistent, his best attributes is his good linkup play and smart movement to create space for others, something most people who watch football don't necessarily notice or put much weight on. But I bet he is very much appreciated by his managers and teammates.
  13. He can score without talking, you know. In fact, that is what he should do.
  14. Don't think so. Our forwards are very hard working, we can easily afford his forward runs, imo.
  15. Bin means son of. So, his name is Saud, his father's Muhammad, his granddad's Ali...etc. You can go back as far as you want. And Al Thani at the end means the second. So, basically, his name is Saud the second. Not as glamorous as Saud bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Muhammed Al Thani, though, you must admit!
  16. More importantly though, he seems much more an average footballer than previously thought.
  17. Bit out of the blue, but apparently Xavi will sign with Qatari club Al Sadd.
  18. Sorry, I'll have to reply to this later. I don't have the time to do so properly right now.
  19. He can play both which I predict was a factor in Jose wanting him here. I think he'll mostly be used in the pivot but will play in the number 10 role in certain games for tactical purposes. "Hi. This is Jose Mourinho speaking." That should do it.
  20. Ideally, I'd agree. But if the alternative is infringing copyright laws, it's a compromise worth taking. Again, it's just something we're considering, not something we will necessarily do.
  21. Actually, in his first season, he was invaluable to our offense under the FSW, but for something other than his crossing. He was a vital to us getting the ball from defesne to attack which was by far our biggest issue before Rafa came. He utilized Azpi's good technical ability on the ball to use him in triangles with Luiz and Lampard/Mikel to move the ball beyond the first line of pressure by the opponents. Go back to some of the games that season and you'll see that more often than not he was the player with the most touches on the ball in our team. Offensive contribution is much more than just crossing. The ability to move the ball and link up smartly and dribble when needed is already a huge plus on what Ivanovic offers. And while his crossing is certainly not the best in the league, he did still manage 4 assists that first season IIRC which is a respectable return for any RB especially that our playing style was the opposite of wing play and using full backs for width. So his crossing can't be that bad.
  22. From what I remember, he only had two crosses against Netherlands, both in the second half and both were pretty good. People are criticizing his offensive contribution against Netherlands, but he made some excellent runs and was often in acres of space, but for some reason, the midfielders never found him. Bottom line for me is that he has all the technical ability to contribute offensively, and he also confidence awareness to go forward so there is no reason why he would be poor offensively.
