He was fine. I don't expect genius ball retention or decision making from a ninteen year-old.

A little laziness doesn't exactly mean 'questionable character', this isn't bloody Samir Nasri or Yann M'Vila we are talking about. Mark Hughes was a lazy bastard in training but a dynamo on the pitch, nobody questions his character. Besides in the last year Lacazette has gotten more caps than Gignac.

If anyone thinks any manager could have trumped Real Madrid and Mourinho the way Pep Guardiola did, they are delusional. Guardiola took what Johan Cruyff implemented at Barcelona in the 80s and 90s and brought it to the next level in the modern game. He reaped that amazing youth system like no other manager before him, and cemented the ethos and philosophy Cruyff planted all those years ago. Only another person with the understanding of the club and it's philosophy could have done what he did.

So people are upset there were no 'coloured' Thespians nominated for an Oscar. So? Maybe there were no 'coloured' actors deserving this year. Having a damn nominee for the colour of their skin is incredibly racist. Once again the people who are getting mad miss the point entirely and are in fact the people in the wrong. Just like everything in life people should be awarded due to their merits not their race, gender or sexuality. Of course they haven't considered that and immediately pull the race card claiming 'institutionalised racism'. These fools, these idiots, these absolute morons are more focused on the colour of someone's skin than the damn people running around in a white dunce hat covered in a sheet. They constantly do more harm than good be reinforcing the divide between races. On top of it all people conveniently forget that the President of the Academy is a black woman; Cheryl Isaacs Booth. I can't stand it, I can't stomach it and I will never understand the rationale.

He isn't a striker primarily. Only on FIFA is he a centre forward. He is a wide forward, usually on the left. http://www.whoscored.com/Players/23158

I don't know. Because it is evocative? I really don't know the point they are making. It could be as I said in my earlier post or more likely as you said; anti-refugee propaganda.

You say youth can't be judged because you don't get the opportunity to watch them. Just curious to how much of Pato you've watched since he left Milan? I can safely say that I haven't seen much at all besides clips. So I'm just curious as to why you can pass judgement on Pato but not the youth?

I disagree. They can draw images of whatever they wish. It may be bad taste and exploitative but they've chosen the path of free speech and they will take the repercussions that comes with it, rightful or not. On another note you've made a statement that seemingly makes light of the massacre of those cartoonists, just like you'd be upset if they drew an image of your dead child, wouldn't they [their families] be upset at you using the massacre like that?

Fuck em. Youth comes and goes like the tide. I bet they could do amazingly worse, if not they'd be getting minutes. If they aren't impressing during training and what not they aren't going to be getting minutes.
-
Because the youth are just as shit (if not more) and none are wide-forwards like Pato is? I'll put my eggs in the baskets' of RLC and Kenedy, no one else.

It's a disgusting thing to say but I think they are more trying to state that an innocent child easily grows into a corrupted adult.

Well if what rmpr said is true (and I trust his judgement fully) and he is more of a wide forward than a striker; I would be over the moon to see him playing out on the right over Pedro.
-
I wouldn't say he is washed up yet. He is still very young and has at least a few more attempts to prove himself. He has stayed relatively injury free lately, also. A gamble but not as big as others.
-
Charming.
-
Matic, Mikel and Oscar is a better midfield than Iniesta, Xavi and Busquets.
-
It hits McCauly first and then ricochets off Kenedy.
-
I didn't see that coming.
-
God that McClane is a whingbag.
-
I fucking hate it when players surround the referee. Even if the referee is an incompetent bastard.
-
Except for those few seasons were he was a starter and scored important goals in every single competition, including a CL final and Madrid derbies.
-
How about he stops when you stop screaming with rage about how much you dislike Matic? A fair compromise.
-
The fuck is the matter with Costa. Acting like a child.

I haven't seen much football in the last month or so but the contrast between Mourinho's Chelsea and Hiddink's is amazing. I think it may have been the absolute right decision to sack Mourinho. Tonight/today I've seen Fabregas alone do things he hasn't done in months.

The last gamble wanted to make me gouge my eyes out. Damn Portuguese red haired bastard.

They are literally the opposite of utility players. Ivanovic starts and can only play one position and the later holds true for Mikel. Rodrigo Taddei was a utility player; Ivanovic and Mikel are not.
