  1. I wish I have the opportunity to live in China and earn the big bucks. I think I'd like to stay and see China for more than a few months.
  2. Jose was the wave that rocked the boat. He was the cause of the inertia at the club right now. I'm not going to start an argument about the player but the club was obviously moving towards a philosophy of attacking football. Look at the transfers that were bought in under Gourlay; Mata, Hazard, Lukaku, Kevin de Bruyne, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Oscar, even Courtois among others. Now, Jose Mourinho was just the wrong manager to bring in and implement these sort of players. That is fine, Mourinho doesn't have to do that but I'm just wondering why the club would spend so much time building towards a philosophy only to hire a man that isn't known for his attacking football? Was Guardiola the prime target? Was Mourinho simply a Plan B?
  3. No player will make me want for Torres. Not even a wing combination of Marin and Cuadrado.
  4. Leicester will win the league if they continue to play their hearts out. They've a hard month ahead of them but as they've shown this season, they can beat anyone.
  5. For the second time, I never said it wasn't a red. I was arguing about a silly rule. Read my posts in the actual match thread. Geeez, maybe I should put that post in my signature so there will be no more misunderstandings.
  6. Read my post about it in the match thread. I literally said it was a red, I wasn't arguing that it wasn't. I was arguing about a stupid rule.
  7. That is the silliest rule in the sport. What a joke.
  8. But he didn't impede him at all. Costa just dove. Why is this so hard for you to grasp? There isn't any clever ruling to this, the referee saw an incident and made a call, an incorrect call but from the ref's view Costa's dive was a convincing one. So a bloke goes for a tackle, misses the ball and me, I hop over his leg and fall over, but since he tried to tackle me it's a foul? Haha, nonsense. It's my fault for having poor balance. Should have fouled and red carded Gabriel when he came on, his ugly mug would have impeded half the stadium (without touching of course).
  9. But Mertesacker never did stop a clear cut chance because there was no contact. He slid at Costa, missed him and the ball. FOUL!
  10. How do you know he was attempting to trip? You don't know that, you've assumed that. You literally have no clue what Mertesacker was thinking, I doubt Mertesacker knows what Mertesacker was thinking. That is the stupidest rule of any sport I've had the (dis)privileged of knowing. Attempted trip even with no contact? So if Diego Costa would have kept running it still would have been a red? Ridiculous that an 'attempted trip' with no contact still warrants a foul or red card. Absolute nonsense, my friend stop trying to justify it, there is no need to. Point being, that the referee saw something happen in the heat of the moment, he thought there was contact and he made a call. Happens all the time in this sport and it is the way it should be. I'm against video refereeing having seen it ruin the sport of rugby league in Australia. The referee doesn't get the luxury of seeing an incident twenty times in slowmo with different angles. Arsenal fans just need to deal with that reality.
  11. The guy deserves to be starting for a club. He obviously has the talent, as has been seen at QPR and Tottenham. As I said earlier (as have others) he doesn't particularly want to be at the club, or so his body language suggests. The club and he are wasting time, let him go.
  12. Please god, bring in Pato and let Remy leave. He doesn't want to be at the club, it's so obvious.
  13. You've never had delicious Belgian cuisine. Mmm, frites, steak et mayo.
  14. @xPetrCechx Hey mate, can you do me a favour? When you post screenshots like you do, can you tell us what website it is from? It'd make a great difference knowing if it is Goal or BBC. Thanks, mate.
  15. HAHAHADid anyone hear that chavy Arsenal supporter? 'UNBELIEVABLE! UNBELIEVABLE! YOU ARE JOKING ME!'
  16. Yes, he is a very, very intelligent man. His company is involved in a potential multi-billion pound market.
  17. I enjoy how Flamini has a PhD in biochemistry, a very important business partnership in the world of green energy and can screw up two scoring chances.
  18. Geez, what will please you? A struggling Chelsea team with a relatively new manager is beating the in-form team that is expected to win the league. Not only is Chelsea winning but they are beating their most direct rivals with a man advantage. What more do you want? The Arsenal is still an incredibly potent attacking team regardless of being a man down and Chelsea hasn't been that great defending this season, given the circumstance everything is going well. Arsenal don't need XI players when they can move the ball across half of the pitch quickly by passing nearly every player. This is great and I'm pleased with everything so far.
  19. Ivan mate, don't just stand there with your hands on your head. That save wasn't very pointless. Did the work of the back four then.
  20. Because no matter which way you cut it, a man down regardless; Arsenal are very good at moving the ball quickly and efficiently. That is just simply how they play and it's not going to stop just because Giroud is off the pitch.
  21. I'm loving this more proactive Mikel under Hiddink. He really does have a nice passing range.
  22. Stupid of Mertesacker to commit. Diego Costa dived, but the referee had all rights to send Mertesacker off. Only with twenty reviews of the incident could people decide if it was a dive. The ref doesn't get that privilege. When I saw it happen live I knew it was a red. Taking Giroud off was stupid. Should have been Campbell. Arsenal fans booing Fabregas is classless. He has literally done nothing wrong against Gunners. Arsenal rejected him to come back, it isn't like he chose Chelsea over Arsenal. Geez. 303 appearance and 57 goals, plus money from two transfers.
