I was using atdhe.net but they have recentley been shut down. I thought i'd post it in off topic,as i don't want to start a pointless thread. All ideas/suggestions welcome

Good points Ollie. Then again,Kaka might want to return to Brazil, just like Ronaldinho has.But it's obvious Jose wants to offload him and now is the best time rather than keep him for another 2 years.

You're joking. It's like a home game for us.Fulham fans all live down the same road!.

Lampard will call it a day after Euro 2012. Terry-Probably after 2014 World Cup,(pending injury). Ashley Cole-Possibly another 5/6 years of England duty. -
Yeah ok.I'll do that for you on Monday night!

Terry, Lamps and Cole should retire from England

After the way Terry was treated by Capello,i for one thought Terry was going to quit international football.Capello made a moral decision, also helped by media and FA pressure.Even past England managers like Venables and Taylor and dare i say McClaren said that they wouldn't of stripped Terry of the captaincy as it was "an issue outside football" and the stability of the National team is more important than one player(Bridge) wanting revenge for being shitted on. Terry has certainly come out of this on top.He owes his country nothing!!. -

You'll also find that the majority of England travelling fans are mostly from League 1/2 teams, you can see that in the flags that are seen in the stadiums bearing the team they support or town they come from. A very small minority of Man U and Liverpool fans will follow England. This has been their rule of thumb for many years.I've been to quite alot of England games abroad, including European Championships and World Cup games and have seen this with my own eyes. Fans of clubs like Carlisle,Chesterfield etc hate the Premier League with a passion and get disgruntled when England players don't perform as well as they do for their respective clubs. This only happens in England. Country's such as Italy,Holland,Germany,France,Brazil,Argentina and many more have just as fierce club rivalries as we do in England, but when their National teams come together, all that rivalry gets pushed aside for 90 minutes. Following England used to be a duty.It was in your blood.Nowadays it's through apathy, glamour and fickleness.Something i don't want to be a part of. -

Good thread Tomo I started following the England team round about the 1980's with the first major tournament i saw on TV as a 9yo was the European Championships in Italy.Back then and up to Euro 96,i can't remember ONE England player being booed or heckled because of the club they played for. Not even Ray Wilkins got booed in a season after he was sent off for England in the 86 World Cup against Morocco and imo Wilkins sending off was more petty and foolish than Beckham's sending off in France 98 Nowadays the England fans feelings is all media driven, players wages and performances for their clubs is another factor why England fans turn, while back in the day it would be only the manager that would face the wrath of the fans. I was more of an England fan when there wasn't any Chelsea players in the team. I certainly wouldn't object if Lamps,JT and Ashley told Capello to do one!!. -
Alot of company's are reluctant to pay maternity leave or paternity leave(to the male worker),as much as sick pay,as managers and the hirearchy are more concerned about achieving targets and cutting down on staff wages, and in this current, financial climate,it's getting more and more common with managers imposing uncomfortable working conditions, such as change in working hours and reducing breaks as they see this as a means of "increasing productivity".Some reputable institutions such as Royal Mail,Tesco etc have scrapped their pension funds to new employees as they can't afford to run it,yet these company's make millions in profits each year, with the fat cats getting their bonuses and the real workers getting fuck all.It always has been, and always will be a "them and us" mentality. It's enough to make your blood boil!

Seemed like a good game m-c.Eduardo was well offside for the first goal.Cech had a right pig of a game by the sound of it Thanks for sharing.
-
Notice how the Captains armband last night was passed around like a relay baton?.It shows what regard Postman Pat has for the armband Lampard was unfortunate to have his goal ruled out for offside.Clever back heel.
-
Watched the England game last night. Not a bad game,Denmark looked quite threatning in the first half with England conceding a very sloppy goal imo. We're still vunerable defending set-pieces atm.Going forward we looked ok,with good link up play in the midfield areas. I know it was only a friendly, but a top 5 FIFA ranked side would of made easier work of Denmark,in saying that,in our showing last night,Wales next month will be a walk in the park. Also had time to take in the France v Brazil game.Very good atmosphere at the Stade France.France should of won by a hatful,Brazil being down to ten men didn't help their cause either,Benzema looked very threatning and took his goal really well. Our new signing Luiz defended pretty good, despite a crunching tackle from a French defender which i bet sent shockwaves and heart in mouth moments back in West London, but i'm sure he'll be ok to face Fulham on Monday.
-
Aah yes.The Lampard bashing thread?.Badboy the instigator i think!.Epic!
-
Lampard should of won European player of the year back in 2005,only to fall 2nd to Ronaldinho. Lampard has scored more England goals than Gerrard.More success for his club than Gerrard.I think we've been through this before? Pass the shredder!
