To completely sever ties with Europe would be as about as stupid as your idea to abolish the NHS. We need Europe as much as they need us,probably more than they need us.Besides,taxes would go through the roof even more if we severed ties with the EU. i'm not going to be patronising and say i know how you feel,although i work 12,sometimes 14 hour shifts myself but our jobs are different,as are the occupational hazzard's that go with the job. Abolishing the NHS is definetley not the way.Especially when you have to pay for eyecare and dental treatment as it is already,which i thought that's what National Insurance is for,but that's for another day. It's the people that administer the NHS that's the problem,not their dilligent workers like misschief,pippin and a few paramedics that i know personally.You try and work the hours they work,and do the job they do?. When i left school i wanted to be a fireman,but i've seen the wages they're on and i actually earn more now than a fireman/fighter earns.And to think they do the most perilous job out of all the emergency services. The NHS should be given back to the people.It's the fast-tracked managers that would'nt know heart surgery or long working hours if it smacked them in the face that need abolishing.

I first voted in 1992 and voted Labour,as you only vote Tory if you are minted or own your own Home,Lib Dems if you're a 'fence sitter' and 'Old Labour' always supported the workers and also gave the Unions a voice. I stopped drinking in The So Bar a couple of years ago but popped in there in March last year for the FC Porto game and can clearly vouch for Gate 16 and i'm happy i don't drink in there.I even got grief of a youngster in there for not wearing colours until one of the older drinkers had to remind the youngster that i was drinking in that pub before he was an itch in his father's boxer shorts. The So used to be a pub of maturity,but it has gone rapidly downhill and the pre-match singing can get a tad boring.Not to forget 16/17 yo's claiming to be 'Chelsea hooligans'. The P.O.W is a much better and bigger booze and does'nt take ages to get served but has been closed the past two home games on 'Police advice',so i've had to go in the Atlas(Seagrave Road).What a poncy pub that is.Nice beer though,as well as women

I too can sympaphise with the author but an AFC Chelsea is clutching at straws.Wimbledon only reformed because the club moved away from it's South-West London roots to Milton Keynes,therefore completely losing their identity.i don't think Roman and/or Kenyon would even think of doing that with Chelsea.At least i hope not.
