  1. Worse decision i've had to make since the x factor final.... Ok,I've chosen Arsenal, simple fact is that i hate Man U more.I don't really hate Arsenal, never really had reason to hate Arsenal, not as much as i hate West Ham,Tottenham,Liverpool,Leeds and Man U. but i still think Wenger and Fabregas are cunts of the highest order and i will be forgiven one day for making this post!
  2. Penalties is not a nice way to go out,in saying that we should of taken our chances as we were the better team even though it did take us a good half hour to get into gear. Not sure about Everton's free kick that led to the equaliser, but in all honesty we should of beaten them and we only have ourselves to blame.
  3. It's a no-brainer Drogba will leave in the summer. He's too old to be used in a rotational role and if we can get £5/6m for him that'll be nice, and as Esk said, there's no point getting sentimental over this.
  4. This is a game we could of done without, especially with our Champions League 1st leg game on Tuesday. Carlo will definetley have to reshuffle his pack as Torres is cup-tied and some players key for Tuesday night shouldn't be risked tomorrow. Everton have nothing to lose but are gagging for a Europa League place next season. They will be up for this game. I predict a very scrappy game and a late Chelsea goal.Extra time may be required. 1-0 Chelsea.
  5. This competition is Carlo's only hope of hanging on to his job.and while Man U,Arsenal-and dare i say Tottenham are still fighting it our in the Premier League there is less pressure on us now for the Champions League. We should ease past Copenhagen, after that it's anyone's guess to who lies in wait for the quarter finals and beyond, but as Esk said, establishing some kind of form and getting the 'fear factor' back must be top of our priorities. Ancelotti knows he has a job to do in the Champions League as that was why he was chosen as manager. But he could be in a no win situation anyway. Back in early 2000,Del Bosque won the Champions League for Real Madrid but was still handed his P45. Madness!!
  6. Not meaning to state the obvious, but It would help if Ancelotti actually kept Torres on the pitch for 90 minutes it would help if Ancelotti played the formation to fit Torres in. Torres needs another 1 or 2 games to find his scoring form.He can't play Saturday(cup-tied) but hopefully Copenhagen take the backlash of Torres's frustration. Have patience.
  7. Where's Fatty Foulkes in the poll?.Ok,a bit before all our time, bbb but Steve Francis,Steve Sherwood,Peter Broata,Dave Beasant? Seriously,Cudicini gets my vote for his patience. Not once did he whinge at being Chelsea's No2 and when he was called upon,he never let us down.Shame he never played enough games to get a Premiership winners medal.
  8. Despite getting stick at work,i normally take defeat with a pinch of salt as i have seen worse defeats/losing spells than we're suffering now. Back in the 1980's/90's i was unbearable whenever Chelsea lost.....and believe me,we did lose many times in that era! lol.
  9. Still a dodgy looking bloke though!
  10. Had a right mare yesterday, one of the worse in my betting years. Today i fancy a QPR,Everton and Juventus treble.Might throw Celtic in there as well.It won't pay out much though!
  11. Dodgy looking Swede who got caught out shagging Ulrika-ka ka ka. Done ok for England, but bottled it at Euro 2004 and Germany 2006 Had a face like a picture when Man City manager after we hammered them 6-1 at the Bridge.
  12. if Man C get a draw against Yahnited-we beat Fulham on Monday, that'll put us 3 pts behind City with a game in hand over them and a better goal difference than City, and we're still to play City at home. One step at a time folks!
  13. I have a feeling Drogba will be on the bench. We don't want to carry on the mistakes of last week. i believe Torres will score against Fulham, hopefully an early goal will lead to a Torres hat-trick and a gubbing for Fulham. 0-4
  14. Couldn't agree more fella. We've just got to concentrate on we're doing now.If the others slip up then it's an added bonus for us.
  15. All about if's and but's Ray.Can you honestly see us not losing again this season?
  16. Losing to the scousers last week didn't help our cause as i reckon Man U will drop points tomorrow against City.it could be the start of United's blip, but making up 10pts is just too much of an ask.
  17. Oh well.Looks like West Ham have got the olympic stadium.I couldn't careless,as long as the tax-payer doesn't foot the bill once everything goes wrong ie:relegation. Sorry to sound insensitive but West Ham moving to the olympic stadium is like an anorexic wearing a XXL top!!.
  18. Touche guv'nor A historic day for Egypt I wonder whether the North Koreans will have the bottle to oppose their tyranny? We're not holding our breath!
  19. I think 3rd would be a great finish for us,under the circumstances.it's all about damaged limitation now. In answer to rico's question:I'd rather see Arsenal win it.I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than see Man U win it.I used to like Man City, but after the way Tevez and Bellamy behaved towards John Terry last season at Stamford Bridge and all that 'Team Bridge' bollocks,City can fuck right off. I know Wenger's a whinging cunt but at least the title stays in London and they can keep it warm in their trophy cabinet when we come back and take it off them next season! :tophat:
  20. If Luiz does start on Monday,it can only mean Jos Bos being dropped, unless Ivanovic is injured. I'm hoping for the former as the reason.
  21. it's not only the students that should protest over here LDN.What about the motorists? that are constantly hammered with increasing petrol prices and needless parking fines. What about the low income earners, where some people need 2 jobs to support their families?.This makes family life very difficult. I for one want to see a shake up in local councils and the discontinuation of the 'jobs for the boys' within local councils. I for one want to see an abolishment to the way we control our refuse(these different coloured bins really piss me off. lol I want to see commonsense restored back to Britain and to make our government live in the real world. I was at the Poll tax riots back in 1990.That was a one issue thing, also hijacked by left-wing anarchists just wanting to fight the Police, who in all honesty are just doing their job,and i bet most of them oppose our government just as much as we do. I like your passion btw LDN,and you do talk alot of sense.
  22. You have to admire the people of Egypt. They simply are not going to get fobbed off by half hearted promises and a very stubborn President. They are having none of it and are simply not budging. They are going about it in the right way as well by targeting government buildings and the main TV stations and by simply sticking together, unlike the one man for himself approach. Alot of these protesters were not even born when Mubarek first seized power but have been growing up since then facing the oppression imposed on them and are simply sick to the back teeth of the hardships they have had to face. Could you imagine the young generation of Britain storming places like Television Centre(BBC) in White City and Sky's HQ just down the road from me in Isleworth?.Neither can i. We do have a balanced democracy in Britain ie:the right to vote. But i wouldn't call it a fair democracy on the working class and maybe we do need to take a leaf out of Egypt's book,if only to give our present government a wake up call. Here's hoping!.
  23. The pre match press conferences are normally after the final training session, and with us only having to go down the road on Monday,i assume Carlo will give the lads tomorrow and Sunday off.
  24. Your workplace must be a right barrel of laughs!!.
