  1. Usain Bolt eat your heart out-we have Ramires I had my doubts about Ramires when he first arrived-in fact,i was convinced we were sold a pup.But Ramires has developed into an outstanding player and scored a great goal on saturday. His pace is immense!.
  2. I was one of Jack Marshall's many twitter followers(his mother would tweet on his behalf) and was sadened to hear of his tragic passing. Jack's tweets would always put a smile on your face, even when you weren't in the best of moods.Jack's light will never go out and his fundraising against this horrible disease will forever continue.Such a lovely lad taken at such a very young age. RIP Jack Marshall
  3. Top man.Make sure that flag gets shown tomorrow.
  4. The fact is we will not be moving anytime before 2020.A site may already of been found, but construction would not begin overnight. It's not rocket science! I smell a nasty rat,and it's got Buck and Gourlay written all over it. Those who favour a move to the London Borough of Brent.Enjoy your new ground!
  5. The majority of CPO's want a say in the running of new Stadium ie restoring Osgood's ashes,(which will be on the consent of his widow) and restoring the Matthew Harding stand. The club want to disslolve the CPO.They have absolutely no regard for the Chelsea fans pre Abramovich.
  6. It's the former mate. It's not Roman's fault he has a group of idiots running his club. These are just moneymen. If the NO vote gets turned in then Bruce Buck and Ron Gourlay should both resign.
  7. I was reading in yesterday's Evening Standard that the CPO are getting tough and going full circle with a protest planned ahead of Saturday evening's game with Everton-distributing leaflets with Say No CPO.This will now go global as the game is being televised and fully show the football world CPO's hand and everything they stand for. I wonder wether Richard King will be available for comment?.
  8. I'm in same boat as you mate.i don't go reguarly anymore(priced out of the game).Club should also reconsider reducing ticket prices with certain concessions especially for Champions League group games.CPO should also have a say in new stadium, and i don't mean having your name on some stupid "walk of honour". I live just off the Hounslow SWT railway,so Battersea would be ideal for me,or Earls Court eitherway and with Earls Court we don't have to change pubs so local businesses don't suffer too. Say NO CPO
  9. Totally contradictray.FFP states that a football club owner cannot use his personal wealth to finance their club. However, there is a naming rights loophole in the regulations which Man City recentley adopted.
  10. Also for the CPO,in order to vote YES the location clause gets increased by another 20/40 years so on the passing of our current board and/or future board members, they too don't try to relocate us outside 3 miles of SW6.Location IS important. Those who think otherwise obviously have never been to Stamford Bridge.
  11. Afternoon GregCity are laughing as their stadium is owned by Manchester councils so FFP does not affect them in that sense. Reasons behind West Ham's bid for the Olympic Stadium falling through is that the IOC do not want the stadium to lose it's identity with Athletics. With FFP regulations soon to be enforced,Roman cannot buy a stadium,it has to be done through the sale of the site which Stamford Bridge sits on,which we all know who holds all the cards to that.
  12. That is wrong.CPO's that are voting NO don't particually want to stay at Stamford Bridge, most have accepted that we do have to move as it's nigh on impossible to expand The Bridge due to various complications ie:residents,H&F council etc.The main issue is the location of our proposed site which the club have not disclosed but we believe they already know about. There is a clause in the CPO contract that the club will not relocate more than 3 miles away from Stamford Bridge BEFORE the year 2020 which is nearly eight years away. If the club get the 75% share of the YES vote they require then they have full control of the club, and after 2020 they can move us anywhere they like. Had of the club been more transparent about their plans and intentions then this issue would be resolved more ammicably. Most of us fans favour a move to either Earls Court or Battersea Nine Elms, not the crime ridden ghetto's of NW10 Let's hope the club are listening!.
  13. Anyone who agrees with the abuse on twitter that Kalou has been recieving recentley also thinks it's ok to tweet to Jack Wilshere "i hope your baby dies of cot death" and to Harry Mosely who lost his fight against brain cancer on Saturday "i wish i could sleep for as long as you have been".Harry was in a coma when that tweet was sent. Sad.Very sad
  14. Interesting interview.Purslow does ask Buck some challenging questions. You might have to shuffle on the I-Player Greg as Steve Morgan(Wolves CEO) is on first.Buck's on halfway through.
  15. Apparantley CPO Director Richard King allegedly recieved a letter over 6 weeks ago from Bruce Buck regarding Chelsea FC's proposal to the CPO.Mr King however did not adknowledge this at the last Fans Forum meeting, prior to the announcement becoming public. Mr King i believe is urging other CPO shareholders to vote YES. The open letter is on the CPO website.
  16. At least he'll have a million spare after he buys his season ticket at Chelsea!
  17. Was listening last wednesday evening to R5.Christian Purslow(former Liverpool FC MD) interviewing Bruce Buck at the leaders in football conference.Buck made absolutely made no sense with regard to FFP and also strongly denied Chelsea have no immidiate plans to leave Stamford Bridge. Then why does he want the CPO to sell their shares and effectively dissolve?. I think the interview is still up on BBC-I Player.Just key Christian Purslow in search engine.
  18. The only place to ever be every other Saturday is getting mugged in NW10 Meet the tourists buy a shirt-get bled try until it hurts
  19. Ello mate.Really busy, don't really get alot of time these days. When CPO issue went public i had to air my views.Firmly in the NO camp.Hope you're well too btw.
  20. Fair do's to club for answering questions that fans have been asking, but there are still many holes in this that need to be addressed.
  21. I don't own any Apple products, but i did have a Golden Delicious in honour of Steve Jobs RIP
  22. When the news filtered through last week that the Chelsea FC board/directors on behalf of Mr Roman Abramovich wanted the CPO to sell their shares and to relinquish the freehold of Stamford Bridge,it left a very nasty taste in my mouth,as well as all sorts of expletives coming from this mouth as my answer to their offer. I understand the club needs to prosper to compete with the best in Europe,as well as England but this has to be done on the terms of the CPO. I also understand that Stamford Bridge is slightly too small for us to compete with other clubs that have bigger stadiums and better income than we do. Ideally expanding Stamford Bridge would be a godsend as we would get to remain in what's been our ancesteral home for 106 years. No other Premier League can boast such a feat. But,and their is a but-i do not want Chelsea to move to the bandit country of White City or Old Oak Common in NW10.Battersea Nine Elms would be my personal and prefered choice. My problem with Bruce Buck and Ron Gourlay is that they strongly deny that the they have no immidiate plans to move.If that's the case then why are they in such a rush for the CPO to relinquish their shares? A clause in the CPO agreement states that the club would not move more than 3 miles from Stamford Bridge BEFORE 2020. Who's to say that if/when CPO vote YES the club could u-turn,keep us at Stamford Bridge then move us anywhere they like, from Mill Hill to Moscow(example). Under the current terms i would urge members on here that are CPO's to vote NO as the the board has not been transparent about the immidiate plans for Chelsea FC. There also requires conditions that the CPO should set in terms from extending location clause(very important) to reducing ticket prices for children, students and OAP's. It could also be a good idea for CPO to adjourn the vote on the 27th October to give them more time to get their case together. Some people say the location to where we move is not important.Ahem,it damn well is.The only "fans" that share that theory are the one's that have no relation whatsoever to Stamford Bridge or your common daytripper,JCL to the fly-by-nights from Singapore to Seatlle. I really understand we need a bigger stadium-but let's be sensible about it. Say NO CPO!!.
  23. I nominate the RG NW10 stadium sponsored by Irn Bru
  24. I'm a twitter user and was disgusted at some tweets aimed last Monday night at Salomon Kalou. One of the tweets i witnessed was "get out of our club you useless piece of shit" Yes,very impressive,so much so that tweeter lost over 100 followers within the space of an hour.Who says karma isn't a bitch? Kalou too is not exactly flavour of the month with me,especially after his ricket in Valencia 3 weeks ago-but never, never would i aim such abuse to one of my own. Some people do need to take a step back before they tweet.
  25. I'm not a CPO but i know quite a few CPO's.I didn't trust Bates when he dreamt this scheme up in 1993. I've been going to Stamford Bridge since 1980 and hold this stadium very close to my heart.as many other fans of my ilk and those before me do.We also hold very fond memories and story's from the days in the old Shed to the vocal and raccous Matthew Harding Stand.
