Who the hell in our club keeps leaking the lineups to the Daily Fail? They leaked the whole "false 9" business a day or 2 before the Juve game as well. Sack this fucking twit.
-
What I mean is that this is Chelsea Football Club and we can afford and attract the best players in the world. We aren't Arsenal or Spuds who are hampered by strict wage structures, so we shouldn't be going after unknown teenagers from a weak league. And before anyone brings up Oscar, he's Brazil's starting #10 and one of the best young talents in the world. Completely different.
-
I really hope that the latest rumors that he's in London holding talks of a move here are false. Not even close to the quality of player we need.
-
Winning cures all. Rafa needs to string together 3 or 4 straight wins starting this weekend at West Ham. While it may have been extremely annoying to draw at home yesterday, the fact that we actually moved up in the table is a positive. We have several teams breathing down our necks now so we need to go on a bit of a streak. If we can make it to January and still be within a handful of points of the Mancs we can be in prime position to challenge depending on who we buy.
-
It's still just baffling to me that people who are PAID to assemble a team, recognize problem areas, and bring in players in positions of need could not see this striker situation coming. All of us here were saying this before the season started. We were asking what would happen if Torres got injured or sucked. Just incredible that a club who aspires to be amongst the best in the world and compete for titles can enter a season with 1 striker.
-
I pray, and I mean absolutely PRAY that we can finish in this 3rd spot. Both Manc clubs are obviously better than we are due to their options up front so I can deal with them finishing above us as this is a rebuilding year. But imagine the shame if AVB goes to Spurs and finishes above us in his first season. Or what if Arsenal finish above us after having had their worst start in club history and their worst squad in decades. That would be fucking embarrassing. This is why it's absolutely CRITICAL that we bring in some firepower in January. My dream scenario would be Falcao in with Torres going the other way + cash, and Fellaini. Then we can make a legitimate push for the league and have a genuinely formidable squad that is built for challenges in all fronts.

Rumors of no Mata tonight.
-
I'd rather have a player who shoots in volume and pressures defenses than a pussy like Torres who plays a full 90 min match and gets 1 or sometimes ZERO shots on target. I think that once settled, any one of Falcao/Cavani/Suarez would score 25+ goals per season here.
-
Suarez is one of those players that you fucking HATE when he's not on your side, but if he were n your team you'd love him. He really would be incredible in our lineup, though. Doesn't NEED service like Torres and can create chances out of nothing. Excellent technical ability, good free kick taker, and wins a lot of free kicks much like Hazard. Downsides: Would likely cost £40m and he's an absolute cunt of the highest order. Also doubt Liverpool would sell their best player to us again.
-
Azpi is an absolute STUD. Has to stay our everyday RB. Solid as hell.
-
This is the kind of shit we never see at Chelsea. United come from behind and seemingly win EVERY game when when their backs are up against it.
-
That may have been THE worst pen decision I've ever seen given. West Brom player was literally untouched. Good take from Lukaku, though.
-
Unless we're buying Leighton fucking Baines this is an idiotic move. Ash is still one of our best players and we can't just let him go. Give him what he wants, FFS.
-
Painful to see after the start we had. From 4 points ahead on top of the league to 4th. United will thrash QPR and I think we'll lose a close one to City, so not only will they be pulling away from us, but Arsenal are heating up and have an easy fixture to go only 2 points behind us. We really need a win tomorrow to stop this free fall. We need to get a winning streak going.
-
Wow. 2-0. Even though we know they won't likely keep up this pace, it is rather embarrassing to see West Brom ahead of us in the table.
-
Falcao and Schurrle with Torres going back to Atletico would be perfect. No way we're getting both Falcao and Cavani in the same window.
-
Yeah. If not us, than I'd say let a legitimately like able club win it like Everton. Moyes would deserve it.For the love of all that is good in this world, please not United. Only funny thing if they won it would be the Arse fans reactions to seeing RvP lift the trophy.
-
I don't know about that mate. Would we really want those bastards winning back-to-back titles? We'd never hear the end of that. Though I suppose we'd never hear the end of United getting their 20th.Gun to my head I'd rather see City win it than United so we'd have a better shot at bringing Jose back. If they don't win it then Mancini will be out and they'd throw money at Jose until he accepted.
-
Maybe Torres will come out of his pussy-shell now that he's got his mate back and spike his pretty, flowing lockes and go berserk. Our very own Super Saiyan.

For the love of god this better not mean we are out of the running for Falcao.

Ian McGarbage just tweeted that its all but done. Benitez it is.
-
If Benitez is given funds to bring in elite, top class players in January, even if it is just to set the team up for Pep, we WILL be right there challenging for the title. Put your hatred for the man aside for a moment and realize that he is an excellent manager. I'm not nearly as down on him as many here are. I think he can do a job.
-
Mourinho rips City a new one tonight, announces that he's stepping down to take over at Chelsea, and smacks City again at the weekend.
-
Well. City should be fun this weekend.
-
All I know is that if he lands at City and we settle for someone like Loic Remy I'd be utterly livid. If Falcao is available and we pass on him and let him go to a title rival, our board should be lined up and shot. You literally could not dream of a situation that makes more sense: player lacking confidence can go back to the club in which he is a legend, in his home town in exchange for Falcao. Torres + a little cash and we're golden.
