I wasn't comparing them to each other, I'm saying that if you look at each of those individually, their defenses are the weakest parts of each of those teams. And it doesn't matter because their forwards are so good.

Teams like United and City go against teams like Villa and other mid to bottom table sides and say "we should smash them," while we go into a game like this weekend weary and hopeful that Torres will actually do something. If we had Falcao we'd be burying teams like this. Like others have said, teams like United, Madrid, and Barca don't have good defenses at all right ow but have world class strikers and goal scorers.

I just remember us all being so excited last year because we were strongly linked with Modric, Moutinho, Hulk ect. We ended up loaning out 2 of the players we bought and sold Meireles off. I'd say the summer buys more than made up for that window, though. PLEASE get Falcao!

I just hope it's not a major letdown like last January where we had a bunch of top tier targets and ended up settling for Meireles at the last second.

Arsenal last year is the perfect example. Absolutely CARRIED them to 3rd.Our squad is infinitely better than that squad and Falcao is as good or better than RvP. I don't get why people think he'd flop here or not improve us greatly. He certainly would.

Doesn't the amortization of player contracts help with FFP? I thought it was only the annual salary that counted towards it and not the total value of the signing.

In my state, Michigan, I believe all you need is to be of age(18 I think) and have a CCW(carry a concealed weapon) or a CPL(concealed pistol license). I could be mistaken. Either way, it's not too difficult to obtain a weapon. When I was in high school about 5 years ago I went into a gun store and they had just about any firearm you could find in Call of Duty for sale. Desert Eagle's, .57 Magnum's, dozens of assault rifles, just everything. Pretty shocking.

If PSG can buy Silva, Ibra, Lavezzi, Pastore, ect within a transfer window or 2 without fear of FFP and are still looking to bring in more stars then there isn't any reason why we can't pay £48m for Falcao. It's absolutely not about whether we can afford him, it's purely about desire now. If Roman wants him and Falcao wants to be a Chelsea player he will be. Just give him a contract with wages n par with Torres' and he'd be happy I'd imagine.
