Well... Doesn't look like we can expect Spuds to be game raising cunts and take points from Arse this weekend. They'll get thrashed based on this form they're in. Looks like all of their luck has run out.
-
City will be looking to go on a tear with only the league to focus on now. It'll be seen as a huge failure if they win only the Mickey Mouse Cup this season, so they'll be desperate for the Premier League trophy. Hopefully Agüero's injury is another lengthy one. This is why it's absolutely imperative that we get 3 points against the likes of Villa. We have to pile on the points against the bad sides so that if we slip up against Arse or Liverpool it won't be devastating. Would be an incredibly satisfying weekend if we win, Agent Mata and United beat Liverpool and bring them crashing back down to Earth, and Spuds somehow beat Le Arse.
-
City will be a different prospect next season when they splurge an insane amount on Mangala to partner Kompany. Gonna be even harder to win the league ahead of them next season I think.
-
Barca should have about 4 goals. Cheering for City so they have more matches. Any optimism and hope they have of advancing further than the quarters will be dashed since they'd be without two of their best players.
-
True. Bet you we draw them if we advance, too.
-
Courtois has played against us before, though, right? Giroud may be worse than Torres. He's terribad. He showed some promise early season and I thought I'd have to eat my words about him being shit. Nope. Still shit.
-
Mandzukic is such a product of the team he's in. Wouldn't be nearly as prolific in another side. You can see why they were so eager to replace him with Lewandowski.
-
I have a feeling Le Arse will score first and make things interesting. Then Bayern wake up and smash them.

As we all know, Zlatan may be the only player on Earth who's more vain and arrogant than CR7. Think this whole "Dare to Zlatan" campaign is just playing up his personality more so than his game. It's part of the reason I like him so much to be honest. He's so arrogant both on and off the pitch and just knows that he can basically do as he pleases.
-
I just think he's one of those players like Messi, CR7, Hazard, Aguero etc who you can put in any league and he'd be great.Don't think he's one of those players who's made to look like a beast as a result of the opposition he's up against.
-
You honestly don't think Zlatan would score a shit ton in England? The likes of Michu and Cisse have scored plenty of goals recently or Sturridge this season. Zlatan is on another planet compared to those players in terms of ability. I think he'd be right up there with Suarez, Aguero, or RvP of the last couple of seasons. He'd be a 25-30 goal a season striker here.
-
He may not have played in a top league for any extended period of time, but it's not like he'd struggle if he did. If he played here for example he'd score loads and be one of the best players in the Premier League. No way is he overrated in my opinion. He could do it anywhere.
-
We'd be idiots not to go for him. Whatever United would offer we should offer more and use Schürrle as a recruitment tool. What a signing he'd be. Would be bad if he went to United. Exactly what they need just like us.
-
I'm not so sure. Pogba may be seen as the next big superstar who's young and can be the face of the club. I don't watch Juve often so I have to ask, which of the two seems to be more important to them? If say £35-40m were offered for Vidal do you think they'd sell?He doesn't seem like a big superstar player who I can never see moving. I think they'd sell if the right offer came in.
-
They did seem unstoppable for a time earlier this season, to be fair. They kind of remind me of ourselves at times. Their players really get up for the big games but then think they can just coast through the smaller sides with their talent alone. We however have the best manager in the world and they have one who insists on playing Demecheiles over and over again. If he doesn't win the league with that squad he inherited PLUS the £100m he spent then he may well be sacked after a single season. Would be a huge failure for them.
-
Can you just imagine seeing Vidal next to Matic? My FUCKING god! We would seriously be the best side in world football I feel if we got him and a top striker. Our midfield would be impervious. I'd seriously tempt Juve with a bid in the summer. For me we need 3 signings this summer to complete our side and set us up for a new era of success for the foreseeable future. A ST, CM, and LB. In a perfect dream world it would be Cavani, Vidal, and Shaw. We would easily be able to afford them if we win the league. It would further increase our global popularity and therefor bring in even more cash flow, plus we have the new TV money next season. We could always cash in on Luiz and Ba, Eto'o, Cole, and some of the deadwood will be sold off. Bonus if we can offload Torres too. That's a lot in wages off the books and quite a bit of cash to spend before even tapping into whatever transfer kitty we would have in the first place. If we win the league hopefully Lamps could go out on top like Drogba did and move on. Next season ----------------- Strikers: Cavani, Lukaku, and Schürlle if needed AM's: Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Schürrle, Salah CM's: Matic, Vidal, Ramires, MvG, Mikel CB's: Terry, Cahill, Zouma, Ivanovic to rotate between CB and RB FB's: Azpi, Shaw, Ivanovic for rotation Incredible potential First XI -----------------------------Cavani---------------------------- -------Hazard-------------Oscar-------------Willian------- -------------------Matic-----------Vidal---------------------- Shaw-------------Terry------------Cahill---------------Azpi ---------------------------Courtois-----------------------------

Now, now mate! Pump those brakes. Don't jinx it!
-
He should resign in the tunnel at full time if that happens.
-
Gifted that vile, arrogant, self entitled club and fan base a trophy. Fuck sake, City. The media love-in for this will be bigger than the one for the eventual Premier League winners. We'll never hear the end of how the mighty Arsene Wenger "against all odds" led Arsenal to a trophy for the first time in a decade. Goddamnit, I hate Arsenal.
-
Nice. Yet another extremely difficult match for Arsenal to worry about. Wenger will have to play his strongest side against City which will hopefully fatigue them even more.
-
Full José post match, anyone?
-
Never, EVER thought I'd be doing this, but I'll be cheering like mad for both United and Spuds to win next weekend. Come on, Agent Mata! Park that bus, Spuds!
-
I've been very hesitant to think that the title is there for the taking for us but now I'm starting to believe. The spirit and determination to never give up and keep fighting is awesome. COME ON BOYS! It's at the point for us that we can stop paying attention to the clubs chasing us and just put the blinders on and focusing purely on our own matches. We have to think to ourselves that if we take care of business we'll be lifting the trophy. Not worrying about what City or Liverpool are up to.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
-
That's what I'm trying to say.Someone like Modric who can keep the ball with good technical ability and also play pinpoint passes and dictate game from a bit deeper. Kroos would be perfect.
