When he's in the zone he's a joy to watch. Hopefully he can keep it up. He's got such a weird and awkward style with the ball. It's hard to explain but it always appears as though he's not completely under control of the ball yet he's still effective at beating people in 1 on 1's.

Maybe, depending on the opponent, José will deploy a "power" back four with Ivanovic or a "finesse" one with Luis? I'm probably reading into it too much but José adores Ivanovic and it was most likely wrong to assume he'd just automatically be a squad player after Luis' arrival.

Hope this isn't an indication that José still sees Ivanovic as first choice RB. Luis needs as much time as possible with the back four to settle in and he's been subbed out regularly and now doesn't start.

I'd say they're about even. If you asked me which would score more this coming season if played as our lone #9 I'd probably say Cavani.

All you have to do is watch footage of his Napoli days to see that he's a beast. He would be again in the right circumstances.Even during the World Cup and for PSG when he isn't a prolific scorer he still works his ass off and is probably the only striker I've seen in recent times who covers so much of the pitch. He works like mad and is constantly running. Even saw him tracking all the way back in the LB position for Uruguay. He's got a similar work rate to Suarez. Don't know if it'd be totally wise to splurge a load of money on him anymore since we have Costa but I wouldn't be disappointed if we did and I'd be delighted to have him. Perfect José player.
