  1. Are Chalobah or Baker ever going to be as good as Pogba? Can't see it myself. Pogba is a similar age and is already light years ahead in development.
  2. Nearly £5m more than Cesc and half a million less that Hazard.Reasonable, huh?
  3. "Hey Juventus, here's £60m. Hey Arturo, here's £250k per week."After spending £30m on Shaw I wouldn't put it past them. I think they're desperate enough to offer insane amounts to essentially buy the league back.
  4. Rumors swirling that United will try to sign him. I would be SERIOUSLY pissed off if he can be had and he ends up there. He's a player that would take them to the next level and make them genuine contenders immediately. Surely we'd be in for him? If José could design his perfect player in a lab Vidal would be it.
  5. Doesn't sound like someone we need at all. Hope we stay away.
  6. HahahaOnly reason I'm able to pronounce it is because I watched a couple of Dortmund matches last season. Anyways, isn't he more of a Schürrle type player? Like a second striker? Haven't seen much of him.
  7. He may be a Chelsea fan but I doubt it'll matter much and may even change the second he puts on a red shirt. They'll just throw a shit ton more in wages at him by the time his contract runs down.Aaron Ramsey was supposedly a United fan for example. Doesn't mean much at all to footballers.
  8. Zero chance, mate. He'll be at United for at least a decade. Only way he moves to another English side is if he flops terribly and goes to a small club. No way would United sell or allow him to go to a rival.
  9. If they pay about £15-20m over their valuations and offer sky high wages like they are with Shaw then the players may not be able to turn that kind of offer down.
  10. If City or ourselves had payed that much for him we'd be slaughtered. Get ready for the "Absolutely brilliant business by United. He's world class and will be for a decade" shit.
  11. Sky just tweeted £30m fee agreed. Medical tomorrow.
  12. Luke Shaw for more than Cesc Fabregas. Just think about that. A world class player who's played for and starred in some of the biggest clubs in the world and for the best national team ever will be cheaper than an 18 year old LB.
  13. Sky now confirming he's due a medical there. Look forward to watching Luis completely outperform him next season.
  14. As we all suspected, apparently Herrera is "the first of many" for United this summer and that Shaw will be signed within the next few days. Chelsea & City spend big = buying success United spend big = totally acceptable Can't say Herrera and Shaw worry me much but if they go out and sign a couple of world class players by throwing insane money at them like Hummels, Sanchez, and Vidal then I would be.
  15. 9 Premier League matches and 3 CL matches apparently. Assuming Barca don't swoop for him allowing Liverpool to buy some replacements, this should put a nice big dent in any title challenge they were hoping for.
  16. Well yeah, it sort of does in my opinion. Finishing 3rd for 3 consecutive seasons would show stagnation. That we have enough to compete for the title but don't have enough to win it.To finish 2nd, at least psychologically, you could reason that we made improvement. If we don't win the title but finish 2nd, win the FA Cup and make it at least as far as we did in the CL last season then I wouldn't be THAT upset.
  17. Yep.I completely agree with his point about the league being even tougher this season but in my opinion finishing any lower than 2nd and by any more than 3-4 points behind the champion is a failure.
  18. Hopefully he's just waiting until we've made all of our signings before he starts talking about a title challenge. Not exactly what you want to hear as a supporter, is it?
  19. City have one HELL of a powerful midfield. Would be brilliant if Yaya leaves. Going to be an extremely difficult title fight between us.
  20. Hopefully he gets a global ban severe enough to both scare off Barca & Madrid (so Liverpool don't get huge cash to buy good players) and so that it completely fucks Liverpool in the ass because their best player misses a huge part of the season.
  21. Just can't see Oscar on the right wing for us. We'd have almost no width in our team which has been a problem of ours until we bought Willian. Hazard rarely crosses the ball and both he and Oscar like cutting inside and playing closer to the box. We need Willian out there to stretch defenses and open space. Think he's a nailed on starter at the beginning of the season. In my ideal world we'd play 4-3-3 with another top class CM/DM being brought in like Vidal/Kroos/Pogba/Gustavo but that would unfortunately spell the end of Oscar. And honestly, I wouldn't complain if we sold Oscar to PSG for huge money as long as it meant we brought in one of the aforementioned players. A midfield 3 with Matic and Vidal/Kroos/Pogba/Gustavo and Cesc as the most advanced midfielder would be the best in the world.
  22. He really is an excellent footballer. What's his best position? Monaco would probably demand £70m for him I'd imagine. What a talent just wasted in that league.
  23. Same here. He was my dream choice as I thought he'd finally turned a new lead after an incident free season. This is just insane now. Hope he gets a 1 year ban from all football.
  24. Lol @ M'bia. Shit version of Ramires and an even dirtier player. As for Sanchez and Arsenal, that would be a scary signing. Hope that doesn't happen. But doesn't Walcott play on the right?
  25. LOL!If they end their transfer window with Herrera, Shaw, and a new CB I think they'll definitely finish higher than 7th but I don't think they'll be title contenders. If they go and sign a world class DM like Vidal (which I don't think will happen unless they offer £70m or something) and a world class winger like Reus/Di Maria/Sanchez then I can see them being up there.
