Can you imagine how fucked they'd be after spending all this cash if they miss out on the top 4 again?I'd be in tears laughing. I may even cheer for Arsenal and Liverpool to finish in the top 4 if it means United miss out.
-
Just think about this.... If United sign Di Maria they'll have spent £200m in the last TWO transfer windows. Fucking mad. And yet they still may have the likes of Jones, Smalling, and Evans regularly starting games for them in defense. £37m for Mata £28m for Fellaini £30m for Shaw £29m for Herrera £16m for Rojo £60m for Di Maria + a couple more likely If us or City did that every journalist/pundit/manager/whatever would be up in arms trying to get Fifa/UEFA to ban or sanction us.
-
RvP and Rooney aren't exactly bad players to be crossing it into and setting up, though. With the standard of defending at most of the PL clubs from wide areas I foresee Di Maria being extremely effective. Look at the joy that wide players like Hazard and Sterling get. Even a kid like Januzaj who isn't in Di Maria's league shreds the smaller teams up. Thing I'm curious about is where the hell Mata fits in as a regular starter.
-
And at least their cunty fans can no longer ramble on about the "United way."£37m on Mata, £30m on Shaw, £28m on Fellaini, and now £60m+ on Di Maria. Plus whomever else they bring in. Their wage bill has to be higher than City's now or at least will be by the time this window closes. RvP and Rooney are on north of £250k a week and Di Maria will be too. United spend astronomically and the media wank themselves and praise them. City and Chelsea buy the titles though.
-
Okay, this is insane. United finally going into Real Madrid/Barca mode here it seems. Will they finally start spending "whatever it takes?" I figured he could be had for £45m. Maybe £50m at a stretch. But potentially around the £70m mark is crazy.
-
Come on PSG you cheating cunts! You know what to do!
-
Doubt we'll allow Everton to bully us like Le Arse did for most of that game. Should be a very difficult match, though.
-
Yeah, man. Bawling my eyes out here.
-
As Liverpool proved last season and as Real Madrid and Barca continuously prove, having a shit defense can be masked by having a ridiculous attack.RvP, Rooney, Di Maria, Mata, Januzaj... Plus they'll surely bring in reinforcements in midfield. Not being in Europe will be huge and I fully expect that they'll challenge for the title.
-
Knew United wouldn't stay down forever but it sucks to see that they're going to sign one the best players in the world. And he likely won't be the last huge name going there this week.
-
They'll probably play a 4-3-3.Vidal will probably be their next buy afterwards.
-
Breaking on Sky that he's off to United. Fuck.
-
Ivanovic must've taken the signing of Luis personally as he's looked a man possessed these first two matches. Brilliant.
-
Courtois is so good that even when the opponent looks certain to score I'm confident he'll make the save. Monster in the air as well. And Eva...dayyyyyyum
-
Almost embarrassing how poor we were that half. Slow, labored, lazy football.
-
Go for the jugular from the opening whistle and don't allow them to have that belief that they can compete with us on the pitch. Kill the game off by half time.
-
Hopefully this game was further evidence to whichever idiot at RM who wants to sell him that he's extremely important to that team and they keep him. Anywhere but the bloody Mancs!
-
Not in the squad for Real Madrid today. He's on his way to United, isn't he? Fuck. Even though we surely weren't even in for him it's gutting to see a player that good going to a club I hate. I think he's better than Alexis Sanchez and I think he'll tear this league up.
-
So what type of side are Leicester? Are they a really attacking side or what? What are their strengths?
-
I mean, it's not likely that José is going to reveal anything but they could've at least asked about potential lineup changes for tomorrow or press him about incomings or outgoings before the window closes.
-
What a totally pointless press conference that was. Not a single interesting question asked.
-
When's the press conference?
-
No I'm not. Modric is one of my 5 favorite players in football. I rate him extremely highly. But if you're asking me who is better and who I'd rather have in my team between he and Hazard I'm taking Hazard.
-
If you're saying all of these players at their absolute best then maybe.Based on the last year or so there's no way Aguero, Silva, Schweini, RvP, Modric, and Ribery are better than Hazard. Even at their best I'd have Hazard over Silva, Modric, and Bastian.

Looks like he roided up.
