  1. City win today and that should be it for United's top 4 hopes. Will be amusing hearing José big up the Europa League and say how fantastic it is after shitting on it for all these years. I think our boys will be buzzing tomorrow with the chance to end Spuds' dream. Hope Hazard rips them apart.
  2. How do you leave the best player in a red shirt unmarked in 30 yards of space? Fuck off..
  3. Bet the Manc's put in their best performance of the season and piss in everyone's cereal here...
  4. Please, PLEASE just let Leicester seal it today. I don't want even the slightest chance of them choking it away in their final two matches. If they lose today and Spuds beat us the pressure will be colossal and they may then lose to Everton as well.
  5. Really wish he'd come out and publicly say he wants to stay or that he's looking forward to putting this season behind him or even admit that he owes the supporters who have stood by him and the team during this terrible period. Hazard, Cesc, Willian and others have all done so. These reports make him sound like the biggest pussy on Earth with no balls or bottle. Like a whiny child who wants out because he hits a bit of adversity. Seems like the only time we even actually hear direct quotes from Courtois are when he's on international duty and stirring shit about Chelsea. If he's trying to force our hands I hope we bleed whoever it is that wants him for an absurd fee.
  6. I highly doubt we'll play with 2 up top. Only way I could see it happening is if we bought someone top class like Griezmann to play with Costa which we won't. I think (hope) we play 4-3-3 with Willian remaining on the right of our attack.
  7. We can all see how good of a signing he'd be but I have zero faith that our board are even considering him. He'd probably be an easy signing to make as well because he's at such a small club who would jump at the fairly big money offer. He'd be a great signing for any of the top sides in the PL. Just hope that of we don't get him none of our rivals do. He'd be the missing ingredient for at least a few. Arsenal get a top striker and Kanté and they'd have the best squad in the country. He'd be a great signing for Liverpool and United as well. We have to try and quickly. An unspectacular but necessary piece of the puzzle.
  8. What you say about United is true, but the clubs have to be willing to let those world class players go. Real Madrid wanted to sell Di Maria. No way will they want to sell Bale. Atleti won't want to sell their best player either.
  9. Highly doubt we can get players in that tier this summer. If we were in the CL, maybe. Bale and Griezmann will be able to choose their destination between just about any club in Europe if they left.
  10. Christ, it looks like a cheap knockoff you'd see in some third world country for $10. Awful. The older leaked shirts looked awesome and classy.
  11. I think Stones should be the second option. We should be throwing a load of money and doing all we can to get Bonucci. Conte should pull a Mourinho and call him personally and be in his ear all summer long at the Euro's. What a coup it would be to sign one of the best 5 CB's in the world without CL football.
  12. In my opinion we have two absolute "unsellables" in our team at the moment: Hazard & Willian The only two players in our squad that offer skill sets so unique that we can't simply go out and replace. Willian is far too valuable to sell. He should be brilliant under Conte. The perfect hard working player he likes.
  13. Hmmm, interesting. How about we just target Götze instead? As with James and Isco at Madrid, it's criminal how Pep is wasting a talent like Götze. I remember not too long ago there were questions asking who people preferred between Hazard and Götze. He was that good. Surely if given a proper run he'd be great again.
  14. I find it hard to believe that BVB will be willing to lose so many of their best players in the same summer. Hummels and Gündogan are both off as it is. Will they let the heart of their attack leave at the same time?
  15. Trying to knick "rejects" from Barca and RM sounds like a fantastic transfer strategy. Look at some of the recent successes of that in Cesc, Sanchez, and Özil. If we continue to play with a #10 under Conte and need an Oscar replacement then a goal scoring attacking mid like James would be great.
  16. Indeed a fantastic player as most of us knew when he was here rotting on our bench. Nice guy off the pitch as well and seemed genuinely delighted to come to Chelsea. Ivanovic being Mourinho's general doomed him from day 1. Happy to see him doing so well. Luckily, unlike with KDB and Lukaku, Felipe is over 30 now so we won't regret letting him go for too long.
  17. Love how he looks like an assassin you'd see in an action movie.
  18. I just wonder if Matic is comfortable and progressive enough on the ball to start week in and week out for Conte.
  19. I don't know, we gave Fabregas a similar deal and they're close in age. I think it may be a tax we'll have to pay for not having CL football. Bigger contract to make up for it.
  20. No, I base that off of his pedigree and years of being a great player. It's his first season in a new league, new country, with new teammates, and in a year of massive upheaval at the club. Has he been fantastic? No. Has he done well enough to play a significant part next season? Yes. Cuadrado looked like a fish out of water here. At least with Pedro we know what we're getting.
  21. Because Pedro is easily a better player?
  22. Mirror say deal agreed. Five years, £28m. Fantastic start if true.
  23. Unless he's going to play as a wingback (which I think is a terrible idea unless we buy two top class CB's) then I see no place for him in our team. If he's just coming back as a depth player to sit on the bench behind Willian and Pedro then there's no point and we should cash in.
  24. Yep. Should be used as a bargaining chip to soften the negotiations for Bonucci.
  25. Again, all depends on the formation we'll be playing. We don't even know if Conte will play with a #10. He's a nice player and definitely a better #10 than Oscar, so as a direct replacement to continue deploying 4-2-3-1 it would make sense.
