Each morning I wake up and it's a "done deal." Then as the day goes on its "they've made an offer and Kante/Liecester are considering it." Rinse and repeat every day.

I'll take you're guys' word for it. To be honest, though, if we're after a midfielder from the Portuguese side it would be Gomes. He just seems more suited to the PL and to our needs.

I can understand us being after a super expensive striker still and maybe a (somewhat) inexpensive attacking midfielder like Candreva, but I cannot think of a good reason we'd be after a super expensive attacking mid like Joao Mario. First of all, if we are playing with 2 up top where would he play? If we keep the same tired 4-2-3-1 of the last few seasons then there are better players than this dude for this kind of cash. Just not buying it. Think this rumor is completely fabricated.

Their "fairytale" is over now. With Pep, José, and Conte gearing up plus Spuds, Klopp, Bilic, and Koeman all improving their sides Liecester will do fantastically well to finish between 6-8th. Even there might be pushing it.

The hate this is getting on Twitter right now is unreal. Just read through the replies to the official Chelsea Twitter. Our best player last season and a player any big club would love, yet many of our fans think he's a donkey and wanted him sold. Fucking idiots.

Surely their players and fans couldn't begrudge him for wanting to move from Liecester to Chelsea? It's like moving from a ground floor apartment to the penthouse. Any of them would jump at the chance. Liecester are very good at signing players and improving them. They can take the money for Kante and buy the next unknown player and build him up.
