If we even entertain the idea of selling our most important player we're out of our minds. No matter who we appoint as our manager or which players we sign, if we sell Kante our summer has been a disaster. He should be off limits at any price.

I'm not so sure. Sterling was great for them last season and seems like a favorite of Pep's. Mahrez is the better player, yes, but I think Sterling starts as first choice there.

Think City and their fans are quickly starting to realize that top players who are already at decent clubs aren't always going to want to join them just to be role players. A player like Jorginho or Fred who are stars for their current clubs won't just join City to rotate with Fernandinho. They can get players like Mahrez who played for a small club and has never experienced a big club before.

I mean, really, they've had ages to formulate a departure message and for some reason we haven't heard from them.

Glad this is finally resolved, but sad it had to end this way. When I just saw the tweets about him leaving I didn't smile or do a fistpump, I simply shook my head and thought "what could've been." My lasting memory and favorite moment (besides winning the title, obviously) will be him humiliating Mourinho by celebrating madly in front of him and also later saying he had senile dementia. Just 😂😂😂 We will be seeing Conte again at a top European club soon. Good luck!
