Been saying for a bit now that I can see Jackson staying. We may price him out of a move. Nkunku will go, Jackson stays. Which probably means Garnacho will come in to replace Nkunku and the Xavi deal gets put on ice until January. This scenario would piss me the fuck off.

Any loan without an obligation to buy is useless for us. And if what everyone says about the UEFA rules is true, a loan does nothing for us THIS window which is when we need to sell to buy players. I literally see no benefit to the football club in loaning Jackson.
-
They’re striking out on every striker target they go after. At some point they surely have to come to us.

I think Hincapie is perfectly suited to the PL even if he isn’t quite the world class CB some are hyping him up to be. But like others have said, Arse have Gabriel as their starting LCB, Calafiori who plays LCB/LB, and Timber who can play there as well. On the right they’ve got Saliba and that new kid they bought from Spain. From Hincapie’s POV it seems like a silly move. Why leave a club you’ve been at for so long to go somewhere you don’t go straight into the team? It’s not a Hato situation where he’s only a teenager still. He’s 23 and used to starting every match as a big player. Now he’s going to be a cup player.
-
We’re able to sell some absolute dross but the 2 players we desperately need out look like they may well drag all the way to the end of the window despite them actually being good players. We’re seriously on the verge of bringing in £300m+ in sales so far and can’t sign anyone currently. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

He doesn’t start for either North London club. I don’t get it.
-
Weird. Van De Ven plays as their LCB and he’s probably their best defender. Why would he go there?
-
Cheeky bastards 🤣
-
That’s a good player comparison. They’re very similar.
-
Hincapie would indeed be a weird signing for Arse. They’re already well stocked at left sided defenders. And for us, he’s not that commanding central CB, is he? He’s a CB who plays that super athletic, super aggressive style on the left side. I wouldn’t say no if we were to go for him but he really isn’t the profile that Maresca has said he needs to replace Levi.

Fulham don’t have a whole lot of attacking quality but they’re extremely well coached. Expect a very tough game against them next weekend.
-
That was insane. Literally felt like multiple changes of possession happened and they then went back and gave it. For something that happens on every corner. Crazy shit.
-
Unfortunately, United look legit good. Did so last week against Arse as well. Their banter era looks to be over, sadly. Amorim finally getting his ideas through to them. With 1 game per week whilst others are playing loads of games later in the season will be huge for them.
-
Would HATE to see Wharton or Baleba at United. Rumor is they want both, one this summer and the other next summer. Thankfully, after the Eze sale and potentially Guehi this coming week I can’t see any chance they sell him. Their asking price would probably be monstrous just like Baleba’s.
-
It does genuinely seem like loads of clubs fancy Nkunku & Jackson but nobody has put a serious offer in yet. Hopefully these teams like Villa are starting to feel the pressure after their poor start and will do so ASAP. Getting Xavi in quickly this coming week would particularly beneficial because we could rest Palmer for another match and then I think it’s the international break, right? We can basically give him a full summer break that he didn’t get.
-
The gap in quality between the top teams and the bottom ones is clearly going to be MASSIVE this season. Leeds, West Ham, Wolves etc have looked unbelievably poor to start the season. Gonna be a lot of hugely lopsided score lines like this and ours yesterday.
-
Funny thing is, he wouldn’t have done shit for them today. Their issue is that they haven’t been able to create a damn thing in either of their first 2 matches. Ollie Watkins is starving up top. But let’s hope they don’t feel that way! If they start to feel desperate maybe we can milk them for a monster fee.
-
This isn’t even one of those classic Spuds vs City matches where Tottenham suddenly look amazing, high press, Son & Kane going beast mode type of performances either. Spuds have been bang average themselves here and are still 2-0 up. That’s how shocking City have been.
-
Spuds have shown ZERO attacking quality all game thus far but are now 1-0 up. City have looked terrible themselves. Never seen a sloppier Guardiola side than this.
-
Perfect end to the window would be to use that would be Garnacho money on Donnarumma, fuck Sanchez off somewhere, and get Xavi. Because we’re going to see more of those ridiculous errors we saw from Sanchez this season if he remains our #1.
-
I liked how we looked with 2 strikers and two wide attackers. Something we should deploy often this season.
-
Still kinda all over the shop defensively. I know our intensity has dropped but still.
-
Sharpen up at the back! Even if the game is done it’s about practicing good habits. Still way too shaky at the back.
-
Just no more injuries from here, please!
-
I actually feel bad for Potter now. He’s gone. We’ve absolutely demolished them on corners here today.
