I think AVB will put his own imprint on the team, and that will dictate their style of play. It's a good, logical question when boiled down - how should a player compensate for his physical aging? The answer should be use of increased football I.Q. gained from years of play. Getting the best results out of the current Chelsea side would dictate putting a system allowing that in place.

Oh joy, that tournament the USA would have been a part of if their heads weren't so far up their asses in search of a decent forward when they should have been focusing on their piss poor defense. Losing to Panama, GTF...

Arseanal's teams always have a bunch of potential. Put that in one hand and fecal matter in the other, which one has more substance?

A little too much , huh? Happens to the best of us. You didn't make a total arse out of yourself, though.

See, Gareth Bale actually has a skill set. Walcott is just a very fast headless chicken running about the pitch (like lionsden pointed out already, I need to read these threads thoroughly). I wouldn't mind picking up Bale as long as it didn't involve doling out to Twatenham.

The great Damon Albarn was a Chelsea supporter, at least in the Britpop days. He's probably a casual fan like Paul Weller, though.

We did not get to see Torres in full last year. He was obviously suffering from fatigue and low confidence. I imagine AVB gave him a blank slate. That, added with a summer of rest should mean an improved and once again lethal Torres. (It better mean an improved and once again lethal Torres. That £50 million will end up being the biggest waste of money in the history of football if he keeps playing like he did after he transferred.)

Fulham. A derby that has been minimized due to our ascendancy and the loads of fans who piled on in the past 5-7 years, but will always matter even if the Blues have a fall from grace. Plus, they find ways to get points, especially at the Cottage. Bunch of smooth criminal twats...

There's even a standing section in that stadium. You can see it at the very bottom of the picture.

Someone actually makes these? I kinda want one now...

In America, it would be the Samsung Bridge.

And America's quixotic search for a talented forward...continues.

The substance use by some members of this forum... Putting Benzema on the wing? Seriously? He may not be a bad replacement for Anelka, but that's the only way I could even justify bringing him up. Even then, he wouldn't exactly be on the first five pages of the list. Are we that desperate for wing players? There aren't actual wing players available?

He looks like the guy from ChuckleVision.

The away kit isn't very good, but it could be much worse. It doesn't hurt my eyes when I look at it. That's a start.

Chelsea Sack Andre Villas-Boas

The Special One speaks 5 languages too - he said he always tried to speak with players one-on-one in their native tongue. He said it calmed their nerves and allowed a personal connection with them. -
Finally, some sanity!

There's more than one way to become cash positive. By the way, why don't we sign supermodels for the women's team?

How many different ways can Rangers put red, white and blue together? I bet they go for a red, white and blue tie-dye shirt next year. They're running out of good ideas.

What's with the neon? Why must everything be visible in total darkness? What is so wrong with simple colors? Why can't we use a normal orange or yellow or green?

We appreciate the effort, but no one cares what Avram thinks. -
He'll be a cyborg by then. He will be gaffer until the end of time.

No one needs to. It's all nonsense, epithets and spit.

In Stoke to start - tricky one, but much better there than at the back end like this past season. I'd rather have the trip to Old Trafford in March or April - I don't think we'll be fully sorted out by mid-September, so I see us dropping that one. Be happy to be proven wrong, though. The trip to the No Soul or Lull Bowl is placed nicely in the center of Arsenal's Grand Spring Meltdown Or North London Flooding Caused By Crying Gooners And Drooling Spurs; that'll be like picking an apple off a tree. Anfield in May - that could be enormous. It could also mean nothing whatsoever. I'm very concerned about the placement of the trip to Craven Cottage as well. We struggle there. Overall, this could be better and could be worse. CL scheduling and progress will shift this opinion as time passes.

Go on Roman, buy FC Porto and use the Dragao for our reserves and youth sides (oh, and winter matches).
