Talk Chelsea is not just the best Chelsea forum or even the best football forum tis the BEST forum on the net. Most other forums are bland and boring and if you as much as give a divided opinion you get shot down but this one you get more room for you own opinion and long may it continue

The most annoying thing about this season has been the lack of urgency when losing/drawing in a game. Liverpool and Fulham in February have been the prime examples, we should have been dragging the ball forward putting them under unbearable pressure, peppering their box with balls after balls after balls instead its sideways passing and pissing about like were 5-0 up, what i find strange is we were showing more urgency at the end of last/start of this season when we were 5-0 up than they were mid season when we were losing/drawing matches 1 good thing thats came out of this season tho that no-one has seemed to mention is that we have learned how to hold on to leads, last season we dropped 16 points from winning positions this season we have only dropped 4, something positive to build on. Plus may i add that the Luiz cant defend thing is very harsh indeed, he has made the most interceptions in the PL than any other player ALL SEASON and has only been here for half of it, yes he may be a bit reckless at times but so was Carvalho he gave an infuriating amount of dodgy free kicks away in his time at the club, plus Luiz has played 12 times for us and in those games weve conceded 8 times with him on the pitch which ain't actually that bad a record and look at Vidic during his early days at Utd, he was abysmal, Luiz may be a bit reckless at times but he most certainly can defend. Another thing learned is we need to give youngsters a try but ease them in and have more depth to the squad, Kakuta and Bruma aint bad but they just aint ready, too in-experienced plus say we gave Bruma his premierleague debut in the Sunderland match and Gyan gave him the run around and we got beat 3-0, what would that do to his confidence? Kakuta is the same, every man and his dog was calling Carlo to start him and when he did against Villa, Gael got mullered on every angle. McEachran is a great young player who will only get better but when he came on at Villa Park he made a few mistakes and nearly lost us the game, something that would have set him back, he has made 15 appearances which is well above the average for a 17 year old, i have absolutely no doubt what soever that he will be a star at Chelsea for years to come, same with Tore, Chalaboah, Deen-Conteh, 2 Clifford's, trust me these guys are gems patience with these could well and truly be rewarded. 2 young(ish) players who are ready tho are Sturridge and Bertrand, starting with Danny, Carlo can ignore FA Cup goals against Champ opposition, he can ignore 5 goals for the reserves but what he can not ignore is proven premiership scoring if Carlo (or god for bid whoever else is incharge) dont give him a fair crack at the wip id be fuming on to Ryan he has been patient with loan moves to the Championship, excelled at Forest and especially Reading (i went to a number of Reading games last season as my parents live 20 miles from the Madjeski, i thought he was a Arsenal loanee so i was delighted when i found out he was ours) he deserves a place in our squad. It aint been the lack of creativity we have been lacking that season i personally think it has been lack of width, watching Valencia at Utd frustrates me because he would have been perfect for us , 2 of Mata, Sanchez and Neymar would be perfect, wingers are our main priority i made this article about unleashing Josh next year but im starting to think loaning him to Bolton will be a good idea as Coyle is a excellent coach, give Conor a chance next season if any one deserves a chance its him he works so bloody hard. Delac needs a loan to a champo side. Van Der Wiel seems a good idea but with his good attacking qualities he might end up found wanting defensively and the last thing we need is another Bosingwa. With Hilario out of contract we need a new no2 (Ross is ok as a no3 but i feel uncomfortable knowing a Cech injury will see him no1) Wayne Hennesy (if Wolves go down) would be ideal. Mistakes have been made this season but if the board learn from then we will look back at this season if not next may the may after watching this season review laughing our heads off KTBFFH

Zola was a model pro. Didnt whinge, didnt cheat, didnt dive, didnt go demanding yellow cards for opponents and i dont care what anyone says pound for pound he is the best player ever to grace this league the fact he has no premierleague medals yet twats like Gary Neville have like 9 just goes to show the lack of justice on this planet.

We have had a bad season big shit. Every top team has them Arsenal 05/06 their "invincibles" minus Vieira only just got into the top 4. Man.Utd 01/02 started new year 9th before a run of wins saved their season to finish 3rd Bayern 06/07 missed out on the CL spot's which forced them to spend big next summer to get back in Barca 07/08 finished nearly 20 points behind Real and even finished below Villareal, 3 years on they have the same spine (Valdes-Puyol-Iniesta-Xavi-Messi) and are ruling europe Inter this season Similar to us really, laboured in 6th at one point but now recovered to 2nd but still way off the leaderboard EVERY ONE HAS BAD SEASON'S FFS AND THIS IS ONE OF OURS

The youth cup last season and now the reserve league this season shows our youth team are outstanding and only going to get better, our U14's thumping City 9-0 is clear proof of that and i honestly think we can have half of these in our 1st team squad (Mceachran, 2 Clifford's, Tore, Chalaboah, ADC etc etc)
-
Im struggling to get to grips with it. Ive got the talk Chelsea team and this other team i got offered the job for but it wont let me promote youth players or nothing
-
There is only 1 way the youth will be played for the Newcastle game and if this combination happens - Man.Utd get confirmed as Champions on saturday - Arsenal lose at home to Villa which effectively gets us 2nd. other than that i think we can forget it as in Carlo's eyes were still have something to play for.
-
This would be a superb signing as far as im concerned, him and Neymar in so we can get the Duff and Robben days back would suit me down to the ground
-
Cech Paulo Alex (dont deserve to be dropped) JT Ryan Obi Josh Lampard Malouda Anelka El Nino
-
Its a Utd player what do you expect?
-
Just accepted the job of a team bottom of division 7 with no points after 7 games and sacked their previous gaffer due to a 5-2 home defeat, shit. Dont worry still signed up tot he talk chelsea league tho
-
Ive also been offered a job with El Pep Team, i think ive got 2 teams now (the team for our league and that one)
-
So if were not there on the matchtime there play it without us?
-
Do we have to be present for out matchtimes?
-
Who was even worthy of wearing Blue today?

This makes me miss the Gudjohnsen, Zola and Hasselbaink trio, if we had those 3 up front (at their peak) yesterday we would have atleast gone down fighting. What id never forget about Jimmy is when things werent going our way he would use his anger to get us back in it, something we could have done with yesterday. -
Unbelievable. Maybe they should watch the reverse match against Utd the games against Spuds and City and (the time he was on) against Liverpool. Not once did they get through our defense with him on the pitch.
-
As manager? no im happy with Carlo Anything else? YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I might aswell give it a crack aswell

How many times will we lose out to Madrid FFS 1st Drenthe then Kaka, Ozil after and now Sahin
-
Its all swing and roundabouts. They may have had the beating off us this time but we had a huge hold on them pre-Roman on the pitch (especially at Old Trafford) and in the 1st four Roman years they beat us once in 11 attempts.
