  1. This one has been dragging for a while, finally pleased this has been done and for £6m is a absolute bargain. We might see a dramatically improved display from Ivanovic against Leti now, i do wonder when he will be given his debut (is he doesn't feature in Monaco)? I can't see him being thrown in against QPR away off all places, maybe the first Champions League match?
  2. The attention is around Hazard and Oscar out of our signing's this summer. Moses will be left alone (so to speak) to get on with it and i think that might help him, same with Marin they (again so to speak) will be our joker cards this season.
  3. Maybe we should remind the author of that piece how Arsenal would have a Champions League trophy themself right now if Henry didn't exercise his art of serial cup final bottling in Paris.
  4. Borini hasn't looked great for Liverpool, certainly not Chelsea level anyway. Carlo mentally fucked Kakuta up by choosing him to take that last penalty at Blackburn, at outrageous gamble that backfired. Had he scored the penalty it might have been a different story. I hope we will learn from the Kakuta situation when it comes to nurturing Piazon and any player after that.
  5. No point bitching about him, he is staying for one more season so we might aswell just accept it and support him if he ends up back on the pitch at any point.
  6. Im dreading the reaction to his first below par game.
  7. I have maintained all summer and now that Liverpool are no threat in terms of finishing above us. If we are stupid enough to hand them one of the most promising young forwards in this country i might have to re access my opinion. The offer is rumoured to be £15m, considering Liverpool spent £20m on Stewart Downing, the board should be sacked if they didn't laugh that bid off within a second.
  8. It was more denial trying to convince themself he would flop.
  9. I think both the top two have peaked. Madrid last season and Barca the season before. Add that to the financial problems Spain are having at the moment. Slowly the gap between the top two and the rest will decrease now both are (in my opinion) in slow decline, it will take a while but will get there in the end.
  10. He must have immense mental strength after going through all that. Warnock seems like a decent bloke underneath all his bluster also.
  11. Malouda and Ferreira's contract's run out at the end of this season. The chances are both will take 15 and 19, Moses most certainly will, Azpi depends on what Term said he might want to keep his birthday number. The fact neither got 20 shows that either Josh has reserved it or there is still one more singing.
  12. Ill refer back to my previous example of Duff and Robben, no one thought they could play together.
  13. Just confirms that Thiabut has number 13 reserved, as does De Bruyne with number 14 i imagine.
  14. I personally cannot see it, to go from 6th to 1st is a huge ask, especially considering we have loads of new and young players to gel. I would love to be wrong tho. I think our best bet this season would be to try and make history by retaining the Champions League.
  15. We can worry about that later. Chelsea need to get back in the top 4 this season and our main threat's to that happening have 3 points between them currently.
  16. I genuinely do not care what happens in this game. Liverpool will not be finishing above us (i can honestly see them ending below Fulham or maybe even Swansea) and we won't make up a 25 points gap on City in one season. The teams we need to drop points (Arsenal and Spurs) have twice.
  17. In the 2 first games (at the moment) City have only had 4 shots on target against them...all have been goals.
  18. Still think Brendan will flop, Liverpool have always been up for the big games, even in the Roy era.
  19. Its actually cringe worthy how much they overrate him, they genuinely think he is better than Cavani.
  20. Liverpool still have the Rafa way installed of shutting down the game against a big team, City just do not look like scoring.
  21. This would be a priceless 3 points for Liverpool in their mission to actually finish above Fulham on points this term.
  22. Credit where credit is due, he has done well so far this season in terms of scoring and looks a lot better than what he did last season.
  23. oh well, that option was always a long shot anyway. Out of the two however im delighted he has chosen Liverpool, they are no threat where-as Arsenal are.
