Im pretty sure he spoke English before he moved to England, i could be wrong.

If someone walked in (when it was on Chelsea TV) after 48 seconds off the interview and didn't see the match their probably think it was Piazon who scored it.
-
Is that why Frank Lampard's name on a goal announcer also got booed in the MHL because every one thought Torres scored with the overhead kick?
-
To think we had a chance to sign him last summer for a mere £24m.

World class strikers will still score a respectable number of goals no matter what means. Torres without 'service' = 0-5 goals Torres with 'service' = 10-15/20 goals Falcao without 'service' = still would get 15-20 goals Falcao with 'service' = sky's the limit Service is no excuse for his poor goal return.

Then why didn't Kalou get similar support? It's actually quite funny, the excuse for never critisising Torres by some is his work ethic but Kalou works harder than most footballers on the planet yet that was never enough for us. Work ethic was never enough for Sala but it's enough to buy Torres god knows how much time.

I remember Meireles's equalizer against City at The Bridge, Yaya was suppose to be tracking him and let Meireles walk in the box unchallenged.
-
Correct me if im wrong but didn't Lampard sit out the CL quarter final first leg last season? aswell as trips to The Emirates and Anfield under Robbie not to mention the Newcastle game this term?

EDIT: Misread, that was a bit of a fail.

I do look at fairly, i have given him credit for improving but he doensn't look convincing as a number 1 forward of a club challenging for honours, if he proves me wrong i will credit him again and take as many "i told you so's" people want to throw at me. I will offer nothing but my full support for Torres and just because i think Danny at this moment in time should play won't change that, i support every Chelsea player but i will still give my opinion. I supported Ben Haim doesn't mean i didn't cringe at his name on the teamsheet (and i don't cringe when Torres gets named btw).
-
Why does everything have to go back to a supposed Torres agenda? Danny gets involved in the game more and he looks much more confident, the only reason he isn't getting played is because of Torres's price tag, nothing else.

Was having a think about this the other day and i actually want this to happen now, i think for a year this could be genius. One year deal, adds some beef to the double pivot, replace Drogba as the ultimate big game player. Terry, Cech, Lampard and Drogba have finally got their hands on the Champions League, the trophy however still eludes Ballack. This trophy has eluded him, we as a club may have got our revenge for Moscow and Barca but Ballack aint. We are looking to be the first team to retain the European Cup since it became the Champions League, Ballack comes back for one last shot at the trophy that has eluded him all his career, it's written in the stars, is it not?

What was your strangest celebration to a Chelsea goal? and i don't mean the usual outburst of joyous emotion's i mean something completely out of the ordinary (if there is one). For me there is only one winner. Ramires VS Barcelona 2-0 down, no centre half's and down to ten men, i was resigned to not just going out but maybe getting our arses handed to us. I was nearly in tears knowing this journey was near its conclusion. Ramires got the booking and the commentator said "seems nearly impossible now, but Ramires will miss the final if Chelsea go through" that's when it hit me, its over Barca have done us again. There really seemed no way back. I was lying on my bed staring at the screen with a beer in one hand and a cigarette (that i lit in a stress when Iniesta scored) in the other. Then out of nowhere Lampard set Ramires through on goal and he chipped Valdes and all of a sudden we were winning on away goals, i just froze, i kept looking at the TV trying to take in what happened, my mate next to me was screaming but i literally froze, didn't move a muscle for about 3 minutes, hard to explain but i was in a trance or something i really could not believe it. After digesting the moment and getting out off my "trance" it was then i truly started to believe it was written in the stars, although i never said it publicly i really did believe it. What is your strangest ever reaction to a Chelsea goal?
-
After Terry's goal line clearance (following Mikel's backpass) the ball fell to Ramires in his own box and he used his burst off pace to escape from danger. Ive missed that side to Ramires and one we will never see at right mid unless were facing a side that plays the high line.

I got 10 once, was well happy with myself

We will know something of the direction we are heading in after 10-15 games. What we have to remember is in August Marin was injured, Moses wasn't signed yet, Oscar was only just back from the Olympics so Robbie had no choice but to start with Mata, Hazard and one of Ryan and Ramires in the 3. You could argue Danny but i think Robbie truly see's him s Torres's competition now. The next couple of months is when things need to slowly change, especially against teams like QPR. Moses should get more starts, Oscar should slowly be getting bedded into the English game and Marin will be back from injury. That's when we need to start seeing a more attacking approach. The Stoke and Wolves home games would be the perfect time to start. However in the big games we still need to get some sort of defensive balance so i would not be too disappointed to see Ramires and Bertrand on the wings against Juventus's fullback's. If i see a defensive lineup at home to Stoke however, ill be tearing my hair out. Team for Juve - Cech, Ivan, Luiz, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Hazard, Danny. Stoke - Cech, Ivan, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Moses, Mata, Hazard, Danny. Wolves - Hilario, Azpi, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Mikel, Romeu, Moses, Oscar, Marin, Torres. Azpi, Bertrand, Romeu, Moses, Oscar and Marin should use the Wolves match as the platform to start making regular starts. Ive also noticed some calls for a Romeu-Mikel double pivot, well Wolves will be the perfect match to see if it will work.

What i have always loved about Danny is his drive. Sometimes he has taken shot's when pass is the better option (which has led to the outrageous hatred of him by some) but surely that is better than being scared to shoot, which is what we got from Nando for 18 months. He has the will and the hunger to succeed, he scores goals. Yes he had a bit of a quiet spell last season but we should never forget how his goals in the first half off the season was single handedly keeping us in contention for top 4. While he has said he is a number 9 a forward, the reason he was making waves about it last term is he was getting put on the wing, while Drogba (end of season big games aside) and Torres couldn't find a barn door, he would not have complained if both were scoring every week. As far as im concerned he is number one forward until Torres performs consistently enough to make me think again.
-
The only time the service excuse has been valid was his first six months, complaining about lack of service with Juan Mata behind you is Iniesta complaining about lack of adrenaline just after he scored the winner in the World Cup final. What also does my head in is the fact he thinks he deserves to be given number one role without competition. Being put on the bench for two cup final's last term should have made him determined to make sure it doesn't happen again with performances on the pitch. Yet RDM came and pandered to him on the plane home from Munich when he should have been celebrating. As some know i have recently been accepted to go on a trip to Costa Rica next year. Had i been turned down it would have made me even more determined to go back next year and prove they made a mistake by working to get back on. I know it's 2 complete different thing's but the same principle at the end of the day.

I always set out my teams with an average age of 25-29, yes there is more of an emphasis on young players for me this season regardless of who we are playing, i played my 20 year old goallie in one of our most recent games aswell as my 18 year old midfielder. Infact it's my win at home against Nour FC that is keeping you in the title race. Having said that i have no intention of doing anything but beating Nour FC and Super Villians, whether that hands you the title or not i don't know or care, im only bothered about my team.
-
Exactly, every player who played contributed in some little way or another, maybe even the yellow cards at the Nou Camp. Ramires's adrenaline must have been pumping after getting a yellow and missing the final, could it have been that that made him go on that mad run and score for us seconds later? But yeah it is naive to say Torres made no contribution's. Personally i think the group stage struggles played a huge part in winning it for us, a close shave so early on gave the players a kick up the backside which imo made them fight like dogs from the Valencia game onwards.
-
The point i was trying to make is if we look a the small details then why is Torres winning the corner obsessed over yet Bosingwa's match saving interception at the Nou Camp get overlooked (an interception that meant Torres was a hero and not someone who blew our hard work over 180 minutes)? There are many small details we can look at throughout the competition that saved us from going out, those two mentioned, Ash's goal line clearance in Naples and we could even go as far as crediting AVB for dropping the highline (and his principles) against Valencia.
-
Another defeat, i planned a season of transition but never expected it to be this bad. Oh well atleast i can nurture the young players now without the pressure of a title race.
-
A second before Cole hoofed it up to Torres at the Nou Camp, Bosingwa off all people made a interception that prevented two Barca players going one on one against Cech. Had Bosingwa not made that interception Torres would have cost us by losing the ball 25 yards from his own goal and Robbie would be lambusted to this day for taking Didier off. Luckily Torres made up for it in the ultimate fashion. oh the small margins of football.
-
My biggest wonder is why did we offer him so much in wages? He took a pay cut to go to Liverpool so surely he would have accepted a marginal pay rise if not the same wages? We have him for 4 years unless he takes a drastic pay cut elsewhere.
-
Oh dear, RDM out? 10 points in 4 games is a sack-able offence these days apparently, its almost as ridiculous as calls for Carlo to get sacked after the Tottenham game in 2010 despite having the league in our hands.
