  1. At 29 he could give us 3/4 years at worse which is a hell of a long time in football.
  2. Well the formula of Hazard in the free(ish) role and the right winger running around like a dog has got us 5 points clear at the top of the league playing our best football for years and scoring the most goals in the PL. While his end product might be a bit frustrating Willian has been a key element to our success so far.
  3. Also what needs to be considered is Witsel and Matic didn't play that well together at Benfica and it wasn't until Axels departure Matic came into his own.
  4. He's in a win win situation, Madrid do develop player's quite well even if they don't make it in the first team (Mata and Diego Lopez) so at worst this will be a platform for a very decent career unless he gets big and thinks he has made it already.
  5. and you honestly believe Stamford Bridge is the only ground with that problem? Its even a problem in the lower leagues, i watched a few Plymouth games at Home Park when they were in The Championship and there almost as bad as The Emirates.
  6. Maybe the Benatia rumours were true? And after that there was no one decent avaliable, and as much as I think Luiz's supposed error phrone game is widely exaggerated, the offer we got was far too good to turn down. I think Mou will be looking for a proactive centre half, but is prepared to wait, which is what I like a lot about him, he could have returned and panicked about the CM and ST issue and panic brought someone who wasn't that much off an upgrade, but instead he waited and we ended up with Matic, Cesc and Costa instead of Capoue, Paulinho and Soldado.
  7. Pogba, Varane and Reus unveiled to the press on July 1st. Then I woke up.
  8. Holloways over rated, one good spell at Blackpool and promotion at Palace (which led to him quiting because the job was too much, although he deserves immense respect for putting club before stubbornness, certain manager's should follow suit).
  9. Can't wait for that to happen. Then when they suffer inconsistent results and sometimes even hammerings against lower league opposition the clamouring to wack them in the first Xl before they are out of nappys will stop.
  10. This is the first time either have done anything of any note against us, let alone looked like world beaters, especially Coutinho, the first time he faced us (2-2 draw in April 2013) was one of the worst displays from a professional footballer I have ever seen.
  11. SAF has also got 8 semi finals with two wins (both a lot more fortunate than Mous).Sorry Fergie the knighthood was a mistake, it was suppose to be McLeish.
  12. So Arsenal this season wasn't a big game? United in FA? Liverpool last season? Many times we have been in the shit and he has got us out of it?
  13. A one off? So I just dreamed up Schalke? Or Arsenal 6-0? Yes he makes mistakes, everyone does but I can list numerous tactical mistakes every top manager makes, it happens.
  14. The ones who disappeared after Swansea are here already.
  15. Yeah, I was angry at the boring footy we played at Swansea.
  16. Horrible performance but still in pole position to make the final, and that's what matters.
  17. So the usual suspects who were missing on Saturday will return, great.
  18. Even Liverpool fans know the "Anfield atmosphere" is a media made myth
  19. Spurs also have a tactically astute manager who isn't a slave to his philosophy. Jose has those type of manager's of breakfast, always has done.
  20. Just thought about that after watching them vs City. We were equally struggling to break them down until Hazard did that, we could have dropped points too without that moment. Costa deserves credit for drawing out one of the defenders meaning Koscielny was isolated.
  21. Maybe I exxagarated a bit, but it's still a form off match fixing.
  22. I doubt that very much. Lamps has a young family, if he does that and it comes out he could face serious repercussions, possibly prison.
  23. Alternatively Schalke and West Ham were brilliant displays and they both came few days after other games. If we as good as secure the tie tomorrow then ill personally play the best team vs Bradford, a week and a half without playing for some player's could make them rusty and not as sharp.
  24. Im not, we will be a lot sharper and if we book a place at Wembley, there's nothing like winning to keep momentum up.
