If we hold onto every youngster out of fear he's the next KDB then that will damage us much much more than what losing him did. For 1 KDB there's 10 Schurle's, 20 Kakuta's, 50 Bamford's and 100 Mancienne's.

4 wins out of 5 is getting pretty close to one. Saying VP's our bogey ground these days is akin to still saying Goodison's a routine 3 points, both "traditions" went out the window about the same time. Can't argue with SJP though mind.
-
It use to be, but the few years prior to them going down VP turned into a second home.
-
No they ain't, ive asked about 20 of them and only 1 seem up for it (and he backs anything Mou does) and the general opinion on Redcafe is that it will be a KDB esque blunder. The 'love' comes down to the sheer downplaying of such a special player, Willian's been good overall for us, but he's lightyears behind Hazard.
-
Do you have to act like such a schoolkid? If you say something as ridiculous as Hazard offers nothing but dribbling ofcourse you are going to get called out for it.
-
Funnily enough, Willian has been much more productive without Jose.
-
Ultimately it would be another player past his best days heading to United, and unlike Mata and Matic, Willy was never even that great in his prime. The only way it could haunt us is if we fail to replace him properly (ofcourse that's a possibility) but if United are prepared to pay stupid money or give us Martial for a player who ultimately is inconsistent and wildly erratic in the final third, i'd take that all day long.
-
He's literally been swimming against a tide for most of his time here. Him being as good as he has been for us is the equivalent of a defender being a defensive rock for Brendan Rodgers Liverpool, Arsenal of this decade, Peter Bosz's Dortmund or Kevin Keegan Newcastle, something the "he doesn't do enough" brigade don't seem to realize!!!!!!!
-
Conte's burned his bridges, even if he stays and has the perfect window, he will be one so so one away from kicking off again. If he was getting the best out of what he had i'd show him some leeway, but he hasn't.
-
Not atall, i just think the criticism towards hazard is truly ridiculous and saying he offers nothing but dribbling is ridiculously harsh. He has played in pragmatic Chelsea sides, is doubled up on because teams know the other players aren't half the threat he is, repeatedly fouled yet just gets on with it and repeatedly delivers the goods. Almost every game he's top of all the positive attacking stats, even in the games he supposedly "disappears". I have never in my life seen as many myth's created about someone as what is with Hazard, from apparently not doing enough to the bizarre notion he has a bad attitude, it's bad enough opposition fans keep on at them. If you are basing his consistency around what he's like at his very very best then yes he's inconsistent, using the same yardstick even Pele would be inconsistent. But basing consistency in general he is about as consistent as it's possible to get.
-
He's only carried us on numerous occasions, stepped up during title races while others were flaking harder than a lightweight on an all nighter, literally been our sole attacking threat at times. I swear no other fans try and downplay there best players like this, your talking about him like he's Adel Taarabt
-
If he can't cope with our transfer policy, he will start WW3 there.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/may/12/antonio-conte-emelano-chelsea-tough-season This is brilliant, there's quite a lot of fans around who trust every word Conte says but also thought Emenalo was the anti christ, they will probably self combust reading this

Allegri to Arsenal and Sarri/Jardim to Chelsea are actually the perfect appointments for both clubs at this moment in time. We need a direction change. If we can't/won't compete with the very big boys financially we need a manager who believes in hard work on the training ground and has a philosophy in place to Bridge the gap in the medium to long term, it can be done, as we have seen at Liverpool and Spurs (they may not have won nothing yet, but to be consistently in the CL and so competitive in big games with their outlay is good going). We have two big advantages over them, especially Spurs. An excellent academy/loan structure to tap into and a winning mentality running through the club from top to bottom. Arsenal on the other hand after years of Wenger's naive ultra attacking tactics, the pragmatism and tactical acumen that Allegri offers is exactly what they need to set them up on the road to recovery, it can't be underestimated the damage Wenger's done trying to cling on.
-
Sarri does speak English from his day's as an accountant.
-
They deserve a portion of the blame for this season, but i can't for 15/16 im sorry, Jose's ran them into the ground to the point of mental exhaustion and you can't give near your best with a poor state of mind no matter how hard you try.
-
I wouldn't say being 5th is the same as being 16th.....
-
Yes it will, just like it did last time.
-
It won't solve all the problems, but it would be a positive step in the right direction, just like sacking Jose was. Lets not pretend those lot weren't partial to these type of games, for the duration of 10/11 and then under AVB, they were churning these type of displays up like they were going out of fashion.
-
If we appoint Sarri i'd keep him. He's proven both at Barca and even in 16/17 with us that he is very effective in teams with attacking systems and strong movements and combinations. It's no surprise he's looked average this season and especially 15/16 because we aren't playing close to his strength's, even Messi would look half his true self if you say ask him to play on the shoulder, for eg.
-
He ultimately had to give up his best player to get him (looking at the figures down the years, FSG's transfer policy makes ours look like City, no chance were they spending that much on a CB without getting it back in a sale). That's not to say we couldn't have done more, but imagine if Conte's told he can only sign a top defender if we sell Eden to raise the funds? he would have probably started WW3.
-
Tottenham have the same boardroom problems they had in 2014, Liverpool have the same boardroom problems they had in 2012 yet it hasn't stopped them progressing ten fold on the pitch, why? Because they have quality managers who get on with their job. Last season we had both of those things and while we may not have a Chelsea 2005 squad mark 2, we certainly have the ingredients to be a very good team regardless of what's going on upstairs, what Roman does or doesn't do can only excuse the manager to a point.
-
We may not have been great under Hiddink, but we were 100 times better than beforehand under Mou. Furthermore we were actually 2nd in that particular table until about April when we headed to the Beach.
-
If Morata goes and we get Sarri we should do everything possible to make that Martial/Willian swap happen. Martial, Hazard and (assuming we don't get a RW) Pedro under Sarri's management would be something to behold.
-
Problem is this season has been bad and the only chance of Conte sticking about and his head being fully in the game is if we have a near perfect transfer window, and even then were be just one so so one away from things going to shit with his attitude again.
