I hope Essien gets back soon we so need him, tired to seeing Mikel backing him up but at the same time i hope we dont rush him into the game before he recovering fully. I agree he is being injury prone in the last few season but in his position there arent any one better. Utility and excellent team player, hope he returns fully fit in the blue jersey on the field kicking a**es.

Good pointers out there, loads of learning from the Arsenal game and the games before. We got loads of learning to be done but i want to see how much of these pointers actually get into action. We never had a good "Lesson learnt" attitude by our predecessors, i hope it is different this time and we come out strongly.

Great stats, but it doesnt completely reflect what he bring into the game. Luiz for me is a very instinctive player, We r bound to get the card from him and free kicks in & around the box but at the same time he can come in and do the bicycle in the opponents box (how many CB have u seen doing it). He gets involved in all the aspects of the game which is good for us because he brings more dynamics into our play. I was amazed with his play against QPR, yes he made a kiddish mistake but in the last 15 mins i thought it was just only Luiz on the field. Having said this, i hope AVB doesnt tie him down and cuts off his instinctive play as it would make him just an ordinary player, he should be given more chances if not CB (which is the ideal position) then play him DM. He would learn more and more as he get more game time. We have been playing with like minded CB since last year and that is not good for a top team, u need 2 different characters to compliment each other i.e. Terry/Ivan/Alex one set and Luiz the other. Another stats, not sure if u all have noticed it or not. Our defensive quality has gone down after Carvalho left the club. because we had 2 different characters, Carvalho (the street smart) and Terry (the passionate one) compliment each other to the core which got the best out of us in the defense.

Maybe u mite be correct or have a better understanding of the DM position. But with all due request, i still think Mikel doesnt bring any value add to the team which could easily be provided by Romeu and/or Luiz.

We werent in the game in the second half and more importantly Arsenal learned from their mistake that they made in the first half. They were more aggressive, defended well and the urge was much much more. It needed a brilliant goal by Mata to make it 3-3 otherwise they shot in 2 since the start of the second. What happened later was just carnage.

Got no issues with the outcome, we were totally outclassed. However i fail to understand game in game out, WHY MIKEL!!!! He doesnt bring anything into the game. If we are so obsessed with having a DM, play Luiz. Anyways he wouldnt get a chance or less chance in the big game. And he is the kind of player who u want on the field, he bring so much into the game someone full of character. I mite be wrong but i strongly believe Mikel doesnt deserve a start.

Liked Josh (guess he stood out among everyone else) and Romeu, though he mite need a few games to show his true colors but he played with some authority which was good. Rest were just fine, but have to say Lukaku disappointed me (maybe these are just early days)

1. AVB great manager in the making, no doubt on that. The part i liked is that he is ready to chop the player if he is not performing no matter who he is. But i didnt think his strategy was any different than the ones that we have seen till now. Yes it was more of a free flowing football but then understand that we played into Fergerson's plan. Allowing us to come to them and then counter. 2. Completely agree with u on the Lampard 3. The thing with Torres would now be that everyone would remember the miss and make him a laughing stock but no one would remember the goal he scored which i thought was classy 4. Our Defense has been in shambles this season, the confidence of one of the best defense has gone for a real toss. I agree that we needed Luiz today, why? because he is the street smart kind of a player who can help u in the offense (lot of similarity in what Phil Jones did for United). Seriously i would not mind him playing as the CDM (in case we need one) as he can bring lot of dynamics in our midfield. Maybe it is time to bench Terry in a few games now. 5. Ramires: Too good. I would really want Josh to start in the 11 going forward. because if he is our future let's throw him into pool of sharks, no point in saying he is young and not ready.

I completely agree with u and i m a firm believer that though it is a loss u need to take it up in a good way and move ahead. But i guess going down again and again and again to the same team really leaves u frustrated. And the biggest thing is that we are not working on the positives against them. Yes this is not a decider but why give it to them, why dont we have the upper hand. I dont have any doubt that we would make a comeback but to stamp your authority which i think we should we doing now we need to win such games. I honestly felt the anguish of a Arsenal fan who just watched his team go down to Chelsea ONCE again. Probably very furstated today

What positives to take, we lost thats the bottom line. We have been taking positives since last season nothing happens with the so called positives. We lost because of defensive errors and also because we failed to take our finishing boots with us. United has been clearly having an upper hand on us since the last 5 games now. Last season despite having one of their worst team they still had the upper hand and we were left with only positives. Why the hell cant our team have that mentality to go out and get nothing but a win, why should we keep failing at such moment, why cant we have the mentality like that of United to kill the game when it is wanted. Damn, it is really frustrating!

Well it turn out brilliant for us right , we won because of it. And yes i would say a bad game, because we didnt even match the levels we played the last time around at the same ground and a better team.

If this is the way we are going to play, get ready to be bashed up next week. Sunderland is a team that is really lacking in all the departments and yet we only managed a couple. I think anyone saying Frank doesnt demand respect cannot be termed as a True Blue. All of us understand and recognizes what he has done at the club, he is not called Mr Chelsea for no reason. He is an icon, a legend, i mean there arent many central midfielder who can boast 20+ goals consistently for 5-6 season. But i think Lampard is no Drogba and he has started showing the fatigue and tiredness. In this situation we should use him every 3rd -4th game hence keeping him fit and also allowing new players to be ready to play in his position.

well what should be the expression after hearing that we got Meireles, Calm/Disappointed/excited? cant tell. He mite be a real handy one for us, who knows. But with these kind of business arent we taking a step behind? Look at our rivals, i thought most of them have done amazing piece of business. AVB had got all the time in the world to access the team and knows the gaps. Agreed that we didnt get Modric but then shouldnt there be a backup plan well in place (if the back up is to play Josh consistently then i really dont mind). We end up sending a 31 yr on loan and azquire a 28 yr old, cant see the logic. Would love to be wrong here. Now it is to be seen how does AVB uses him in his plans. Who goes out and who stay.

I think we done great so far, specially considering the fact that it took 50+ years to get the first title. We have built things brick by brick and where ever needed loads of cash (mostly cash ) under the Roman era, one of the result is a proper and nearing excellent infrastructure which would start giving us good supplies of players who could be drafted into the first team easily apart from the fact that we still have a very decent side. In the Roman era so far we have become a club which is talked among the big names in Europe which is a big achievement because thats recognition and it hard to come by. And you have players who want to join the club for that. Yes only 3 titles the reason is mainly because of our owner who has been keen to acquire a formula for instant success (which unfortunately cannot be bought) and i really hope that AVB is an investment under whom we could grow. As now we have the players (more or less), the infrastructure, the fear in our opponents, a reputation in the Champions league, so all that is needed is someone to stay and take this to a new level. I m hope that Roman understands that being a little patient would help us achieve more than what other expects. There would be many Citys and Malagas and PSGs in the making but it would be difficult to achieve what Chelsea has achieved in the last 8 years.

Would be really good if we could sign him, i know an expensive proposition but then he still is one of the best in the world. I really dont want to see him at United because it would take them to another level, in fact thats the kind of signing they need. But then i know my worst fears are going to come true
