  1. I know we don't know the insides of the club's finances but I would give Leicester £40M and give him a 5 year £200K/week contract, I can hardly imagine money being a problem if we offer these amounts and I think it's reasonable given the sums we were ready to pay for other less important positions, Morata for example ( although I'm all for getting him ).
  2. Well that was fast, thank you Sky
  3. One of our classiest kits in the last decade IMO.
  4. Young, powerful, fast, great technical ability, willing to play wherever the coach wants and is ready to put in as much effort as requested. This is a vintage Conte player;
  5. Just readit on an arabic chelsea facebook page reported somewhere so yes I might be wrong.

  7. There is actually a presser scheduled for Tuesday.
  8. No Europe would mean that there are more places up for grabs, especially after a season like ours and playing under a manager who is renowned for his 3-5-2. We just spent €40M on a "hot shit". True, doesn't mean we can't buy strikers. You just said the opposite didn't you ?
  9. Actually we should be glad. Hazard's value ( eventually, don't want us to sell him ofc ) will then instantly jump to £120M-130 if the Pogba move occurs.
  10. Dude has really lost the plot, he became incredibly obsessive with everything surrounding him. 10 years ago he was like "Fuck you I want to win, I want to beat everyone", it made him the best manager in the world. Today he is like "Fuck you all I am the best coach that has ever lived", it will most probably destroy him. Never though I'd say this and it hurts me more than anything, but I'm definitely glad he's not our problem anymore, you just gotta LOVE Conte's passion and humility in front of what I just saw today. FORZA ANTONIO
  11. The Manchester Derby will never be bigger than El Clasico, whether that is from a technical or media point of view. And sorry also, but Real and Barça aren't 'just those big Spanish clubs', for pretty much every footy fan they're the two biggest heavyweights in European and World Football.
  12. So first team pre-season starts on 11th I guess ?
  13. Can't believe I'm agreeing with this...
  14. Squawka, which is a bit more reliable to me than the Telegraph if you want my opinion
  15. Off topic but WTH is going on with Willian ? Seems like every other thread I open holds a post or two were people are slagging him off and saying he ain't good enough. Dude is top 5 in the PL for chances created and has been by a countrymile our player of the year ( in a ridiculous season, sure, which could have been even more historic had it not been for that guy in the first couple of months ). I just don't get it, he might just never win with you guys.
  16. Can you imagine that if he reaches the final he would have only 5 actual days to lead the team before playing the first friendly in Vienna. Still, I tried so hard, but I just can't avoid getting hyped for this guy. Bring it on !
  17. Furthermore, it's way easier for players to buy into their fellow countryman's needs when they are playing for their national team. Make no mistake, the man has clearly got charisma and could influence the very best to play his way and for the team, I just think we should avoid getting carried away since national teams competitions and domestic leagues ( Champions league eventually ) are two distinct things. But indeed, yesterday was a good night to be an optimistic Chelsea fan, let's hope we have a decent window and the manager settles in pretty quickly.
  18. Meanwhile, Bayern, Real and Juve get this... Totally legit decision by the club, you can easily see the importance they give to other clubs.
  19. Had to pinch myself twice to believe the sort of things written about Willian here... Nothing short of reliable dude, gave it all for the team when everyone around him was collapsing. That alone grants him an awful amount of respect for me.
  20. There is a reason West Brom have a Liquidator of their own
  21. And Traoré hadn't shown his quality yet at the time, so the choice made sense. Then Rémy stayed, and Traoré took his chances.
  22. When have Italy ever been convincing ? They litterally win titles by scoring one more than the opponent in every round. It's in their blood, their football is tailored like that, you can't do anything about it. ( And i love their identity tbh )
  23. Well looks like the guy didn't sign a damn thing yet but already has haters. Typical Chels
  24. It's time that people stop misinterpreting this sentence : ( starts at 2:20 ) He is presenting assumptions to answer the question about the players' level : "Or last season i did a phenomenal work brought them to a level that is not their level, or this season we are doing so bad that the players for some reason [...] clearly where for some of them it's so difficult" "Or" plays the "whether" role here. ( One of the translations for whether in portuguese is "ou" actually, which is "or" in french, and since he speaks that many languages, you can't blame him for not placing the exact word... ) And if I understand it right, he is trying to imply that it is an extraordinary coincidence that all these players have such dips in form in the same time. But of course, all people got from the video was that "All last season I did phenomenal work & I brought them to a level that is... more than they really are"
