Hiddink went toe to toe with the best team in the history of football, and almost smashed them 2 or 3-0 had it not been for one of the wors refereeing performances ever. He IS old, but he hasn't lost quite as much as people try to make us believe. If no one is available, just give him a one or two year contract, establish a long term footbaling project, and let him prepare ground for the next manager and so on, no better manager for that, as he won't be asking for a long term contract.
