Remy had a knock, and Hazard isn't 100% fit yet, Falcao is only training with the team, not match fit yet either. So it is a possibility..
-
I hope the stories of Cesc not traveling are just the start of him leaving on a side note.
-
Courtois Ivanovic Zouma Terry Azpilicueta Mikel Ramires Matic Willian Hazard Rémy Most balanced XI we can field ( if you add Costa instead of Rémy in general ). Oscar as a wildcard if behind, todo bueno.
-
It's not like we're looking likely to go through to the quarter finals of the CL anyway, so cup-tied for him later or not, he might as well just fuck off in a couple of weeks. Please ? Santa ?

Got ripped to pieces against Liverpool, because that midfield is too defensive.
-
You are reading way too much in that, he is just avoiding to criticize previous work, knowing how professional he is, it wouldn't be fair to José ( nor to the players ) to say yeah the team wouldn't have reacted in front of the media.
-
Heads up to everyone here complaining about Fabregas, wondering why Watford bossed the midfield and then wonderinf why he was taken off for Mikel Average game, should've done better, good to have Diego back, move on.
-
Bye bye Fabregas, finally.

The new manager has liked what he has seen in training so far, and while he knows from his own experiences that emotion can play a big part in sport, he hopes the striker can return to top form by concentrating on what he does best. ‘I've worked with Diego Costa a few days, and in the past I've seen him on television a few times,’ says Hiddink. ‘From what I experienced in the last few days, and I must also take into consideration the last game he played against Sunderland, he was in control. ‘He was focused more on what he is hired for here, and that is to help to score or to assist and not going into other things. I think he was well controlled when I experienced him in the last days. I cannot have any complaints about him. ‘He's an emotional guy,’ continues the manager. ‘A long time ago, I was captain of my team and the manager substituted me at half-time. I wasn’t used to that. I thought I'd performed but I threw off my armband and threw it at him. ‘It was also an emotional reaction born of frustration. It was a sign of frustration. Sportsmen, even though they are on camera, are allowed to show a bit of emotion, but they must know five or 10 seconds later that they're wrong. ‘I think Diego can focus on what he is able to do. I cannot guarantee there won't be an outburst from him or others, but they have to focus on what they're good at.’

I don't wanna jinx it, but I can't stress enough how pivotal this 6 months are for this club under this kind of manager. If he does perform as expected, we really are lucky to find the exact profile we need at the moment, important experience, tactful in his communication ( for those who want real taste of it, check how calm and composed he was after the Ovrebo nightmare, you just can't stay calm in a night like that, how he did is beyond me ), great tactical knowledge, respect from and proximity with the players. Our club is really in a critical phase, the after Mourinho has always been tricky, whether your teams keep the best learned under one of the best managers in the history of football, enhance it and go to the next level ( Chelsea 2008, Madrid 2014 ), or they implode ( Inter 2011, Porto 2005 maybe although they lost so many players that we can't judge them on that ). Our objective is to make the BRB a BRBC, thus joining the Barcelona-Real Madrid-Bayern club, we were really that close last year, had we made a better CL campaign, we would have been in the same scale, in the last year or so, we really declined in that progression, we are behind the PSGs, Atleticos and Juves of this world, hell maybe even Manchester City and Arsenal, although we might have more talented players than some of them ( mainly Atletico and Juve for me ). So we need this coach, and I can feel in his words that he needs us, as he said he gave up big plans to join Chelsea, his name has been well sung here in the past and he didn't have such a brilliant career just to end it in a note as low as what happened in his last 2-3 experience ( depends on where you stand in the Anzhi debate ), he doesn't have much to prove but he needs that, ending a great carrer badly is always negative for someone involved in football management for over 33 years. Chelsea want to build a dynasty ? Recruit the players ? Build the foundations ? This man has got so much experience and knowledge in football and has been through so many changes that I can see him as one of the best candidates for that, as a coach for a couple of years and then a technical director if he wants to stay in the game, as he has always been in the top of Roman's wishlist. We only have to wish one thing for the future of our club, that this guy does a job good enough to keep him within the club beyond the 6 months he is about to entertain. Guus Luck ! Don't be hiddingk !

The Insane Reaction To Jose's Sacking Has To Stop!

Do you seriously think the Arab Spring has now "passed" ? Please avoid such examples, just say people arguing about how extreme the Nazis example was, this might not be as extreme but it sure is totally inappropriate. -
I was speaking about the dilemma we are still facing as Chelsea fans atm. Not a single doubt he'll do just fine there, but if he does coach United, the love story is over and we're all against him now aren't we ?
-
I was one of his biggest defenders here. But I took time to think about it in the last few days, and i think that loving him grew harder and harder by the day... He, the players and the board let the fans down, he paid the price. They might have performed less than they should have, I still don't believe a professionnal football player is ready to be relegated just because he doesn't get along with the manager anymore. But could the players have been as down mentally as they were this season if the atmosphere wasn't as toxic ? I don't think so.. I'm really in a terrible place now between loving the guy I defended for years and admitting the truth, which i am, gradually. So I hope he goes to United and makes it easier for all of us, bring it on.

Getting top 6, Cup and Champions league Semi final should be getting him the job. People forget that Roman has always wanted Guus to take the job permanently, but the Dutchman has refused three times. He will be ending his career very soon, if he gets along well with the players and has good results, give him a two year contract, it would be amazing for his career to end on a high in such a big experience as coaching Chelsea, he is the type of coaches we need now : huge experience, balls to play the offensive football the fans and board obviously want and brilliant people skills, the only other candidate who fits for me now is Ancelotti, and he is on the verge of signing with Bayern. Only downside, he might be outdated, but hey, a few years ago he owned Guardiola's Barcelona so..
-
"I can't slow down my players and make them sit back even if we are winning 3-1". " You can't wait for Arsenal because they are good technically, you have to play". People will like (once again) this man, he has proven that he doesn't just say these kind of things, he litterally went all in against Barcelona at home ( which should have been rewarded btw ), and now he has players who might be more adapted to his approach. But I mainly remember him as a really composed, nice, calm and pragmatic main, these qualities are obviously still here, and as our player's confidence is really low, I think he could fix this whole mess. I wanted Ancelotti at least, if we couldn't get Hiddink, because their man management is similar, Roman made his choice, he is always going to back the players instead of the coach, if that's the case then we might as well start getting good, brilliant but soft coaches ( Pep ain't one, he is really confrontational btw... )
-
I honestly feel a lot in this moment, i am overwhelmed with numerous feelings and ideas i'd like to get out, but I am just waiting for his replacement. If it isn't Hiddink, or at the very least Ancelotti, then you better ban me, because Talk Chelsea will witness a rant so big that the glass behind Abrahmovich's seat in SB will be bloody shattered.

There is good, accurate, subtle real-time marketing. And there is this tweet. This is bullshit, whoever is responsible of this tweet should get the sack himself, no creativity.
-
Please, he's gone, and these are tough times for all of us. Can you spare us this please ? Can you stop criticizing him ? At least helping us in the impossible task of keeping a good image of him in his last days ? Let's just move on, we all love him, let's not keep blasting him here, we all know what went wrong and we all hope someone comes and fixes it.
-
Congratulations Chelsea FC, you just gave a bunch of overrated players eternal protection, they might as well score own goals if they don't like the coach next time
-
If it's the case, then we are in a really, really, really bad place as a club. You play for the crest and the supporters, not for Mourinho, if you ever jeopardize that for own personal account, then you are invited to fuck off as soon as possible from the club.
-
Because he actually built the most successful Chelsea of history, which lasted for about 8 years. But i guess then it was Lamps Didier and JT doing the work for Mourinho, now it's only on him that he can't make Fabregas and co. play =)

Please quote the full sentence "Or last season I did phenomenal work and I brought them to a level that is more than they really are, or this season we are doing so bad that the players for some reason, I'm not saying all the players, I don't want to put them all in the same basket, but clearly where some of them is so difficult" Now you can understand his point, the media/forums only quote what they want
