Well at least you can't blame the club for not trying every possible option can you ?
-
Speaking of which, could it be that Mourinho has issues with his once upon a time close friend Jorge Mendes ?
-
Personally believe you got a bit carried away there Barbara.
-
Exactly, that's why he stated the score afterwards by adding those silly emojis. I don't care originally, just that people should stop defending him. He isn't Chelsea anymore, nothing about how he behaves is, if anything, he's turning into the complete opposite.
-
Putting 15/16 shadows forever to bed ? Up the Chels' !
-
So we basically should start making excuses for him even when he abuses Chelsea supporters publicly on Instagram ?
-
Look at his comments ( not fake, you can check by yourself ). Anyone still supporting him after that should obviously be banned
-
He really just doesn't know how to play football anymore does he ? The atmosphere around United is intoxicated already and they're only 15 minutes into the season ( plus they're really playing rubbish ). This is gonna backfire even more than the Real and Chelsea experiences, mark my words.

What this transfer really tells me is that we're probably abandoning the 2 strikers idea. We already needed an additional one with Traoré ( who was good in this system ), now there is just not enough time to get the necessary depth for the system.
-
I believe we need a left-footed winger on the right, it might just seem fancy because that's what modern football has brought in the last 10 years or so but it really helps your offensive build up when your winger is already facing the defender to the inside on his strong foot rather than the opposite. Willian has immense technique and great speed, he can be really creative at times and when he has space he can do a lot of damage, but we'll never get the best f him putting him in a wing where he will go to the outside and get a corner at best, not everyone has the skill of Hazard who can do it on both wings, so I really think we should move him to a three man midfield as suggested here, he has it all in him. Or at worst, right back, surely can't be worse than what we have now.

1 fucking billion ?

So this is what it feels to hear his comments about other clubs. He really looks like a child doesn't he Glad he's not our problem anymore.
-
This is getting ridiculous Please close this thread.

Because there isn't enough "height" in the team
-
35 Million Euros ? We really are clowns if he goes for that price, in a Market where Pogba is worth 120M, Higuain 95 and Lukaku reportedly 75, Oscar is easily worth 50. But anyway, any price, just go
-
Clearly not happy with the team's effort without the ball there, emphasizing that "1 or 2 players" not working without the ball might cause us to have another bad season. No direct idea of who he might be speaking about, but can anyone argue with him ?
-
Does it really have to be this way ? Is there only one way of winning ? The one including cheating and disrespecting everyone besides your team ? I for one don't think it should be that way, in the end, only the winners are remembered, but you know who are remembered more ? The "good" winners. Without going on ideology shocks here ( as once again, I don't believe there is only one way of winning ), but I'm pretty certain 2009 Barcelona are more remembered as treble champions than the 2010 Inter. Because they won in a great fashion, probably the greatest possible fashion, winning while cheating doesn't make you less of a winner, but winning brilliantly makes you a better winner. Just my opinion ofc.

The club just smashed all of this to the ground by confirming Kante's squad number : 7

Speaking of which, it only took me 15-20 minutes into the WAC game to discern a few patterns in our attacking display. I don't know if everyone noticed the same, but the role of the two strikers in one/two touches play is really a highlight, the first kind of actions is the winger instantly receiving the ball and playing it straight away to the middle where there is always a centre forward dropping deep, bringing the defender outside of his zone and setting space up for the overlapping wingers ( Moses and Willian on wednesday ) and the second striker, when it's successful, it gives a couple of fast paced passes along with a 3v3 or 3v2.

Dude leads us to two unbelievable titles, leaves bu mutual consent, comes back, builds a strong team again, leads us to an outstanding domestic title again, then totally crumbles the year after, gets us to 16th place in the table, witnesses one of the best standing ovations done to a manager in modern football and speaks only about himself when confronted to the situation in the media. Gets rightly sacked ( very late tho ), goes to a rival, starts talking about one generation of success, small dugouts and biggest club in the UK. But people can't see what's upsetting us with him. Was ready to take down the internet to defend this guy at one point, can't believe my esteem for someone could have changed this dramatically in half a year, unbelievable stuff. Hope we thrash him along with his so called biggest club in the UK with the biggest dugout, the many generation of success and the "mystical" feel to it. No fans in the world, litterally, no fans in the world could have defended/supported him like we did, poor fan just wants to get an autograph on a Chelsea shirt ( says a lot about the admiration he still has here ), nope. Well sorry for everyone but fuck you too mister.

So we're actually the first of big teams to start pre-season games. Remember last year when teams had already two games under their belt when we were "travelling" for USA ?
-
Zouma - JT - Koulibaly ( or else ) Willian-Kanté-Matic-Azpilicueta(Baba) Hazard Costa-Bashuayi Could be brilliant indeed, but we need a good LWB, the 3-5-2 relies heavily on the offensive contribution of the wingers, we all know that Azpilicueta on his bad foot is struggling offensively and we're still waiting to see how Baba will perform on his second year. But assuming we drop Cesc, yeah, the potential is there.
-
Pogba was always going to be a starter. Kanté started the competition and performed really well, he was along with Payet the best French performers, however, he got suspended and Sissoko had a brilliant game against Iceland, additionally to offering width and pace going forward, which the french team lacked, so he got the spot for the last two games. We on the other hand desperately need a pure, strong 6.
-
Funny though, Mourinho used the same metaphor last year.
-
Thing is they might be right that we were close, but doesn't make Leicester giving Kanté a new deal less possible. I think everyone knows the decision is up to him, unless PSG or Real pop up at the last minute or something, although it's pretty clear that the best career choice for him would be us.
