We sacked the special one for this... The board should be ashamed. #BringMouBack #ConteOut

Alonso and Luiz trained today

He mentioned quite the opposite actually, stating that the first goal is offside and that it's a bit his fault since he demands from his players to stay high until the ball is kicked. In the follow-up there is a foul on Kanté by Indi the goalscorer. So the ref signals an offside, no goal for Stoke, they're looking for an equalizer and we probably kill them off on the break. There are doubts on their second goal as well, Crouch almost shoots the head of Cahill lol. Don't blame the refs on this one as these was very close calls and hard to spot amid the mess that Stoke tend to make of their set-pieces but no need to panic as far as I'm concerned.

What did we ever do to deserve him ?
-
Mourinho will probably buy him in Summer 2018 to help him with the famous third season downfall about to begin ( That's given they actually go high in the meantime ).
-
He is staying here until the end of the season.

Steve Hudson has scored 10 goals in the Premier league this season, Ronaldo hasn't. Ronaldo who ?

I don't wanna jinx it, we won 7 in a row, if we happen to snatch 3 points at City it would be 8 with 5 relatively easier games coming up. The potential 14th game would be Spurs away, what a time to break an Arsenal record
-
Luke Shaw as well might be available at some point if it continues this way.
-
This one might be intriguing, City press high also but they don't have as much physical impact as Spurs had last week ( which was showcased by the game between the two sides earlier in the season ), on the other hand, City's ability on the ball is level above and their center forward is very mobile. It will be interesting to see if we will cope better in terms of playing out from the back than the last game, I think we should engage things and be on the front foot rather than wait for them and hit them on the counter ( although we are able to do this but it's a bit risky to defend deep against Guardiola teams ). Another thing which is worrying me is that Guardiola has used the 3-4-3 a lot in his career, fair to say it hasn't worked a lot for him and you would think that of all people he knows why it didn't, thus having an advanced knowledge of the weaknesses of the system...

Has a lot to do with the profile of the games. Didn't have much of the ball against Tottenham and the spaces against Boro were really hard to find, so on the backk of a hard international break for him it's easy to understand why. Still, you can see he got that reflex now, the first move he did with his first good ball on Saturday was to drift inside and shoot.

Yeah forgot about Vic. So I guess if you take the MVP mindset ( best player of the best possible team ) you get Moses for November.
-
So Conte probably MOTM for the second month running since no other team had 3/3. Hazard POTM ? Wasn't quite as sparkling as he was in October ( by his standards ), but I still didn't see a better player this month. Diego maybe ?
-
Yeah Yaya will probably be the first name on the team sheet against us.
-
Well he's a top top RCB for now, let's leave it at that We don't need to have BOTH Matic and Verratti, not that I'm ready to ditch the former, but Marco has so much more qualities ( both on and off the ball for me ). Verratti-Kante really is enough to dominate pretty much every team bar the big european three and maybe City.
-
Every top team nowadays has world class wingers/wing-backs/full-backs and optimal wing usage, something we have lacked for years really.
-
This guy along with Griezmann or Dybala would totally put us on a new level...
-
Zouma - Luiz - Christensen All three players on their strong feet ( Luiz doesn't really care since he's strong on both... ), Luiz-Christensen is as good a ball playing pair as it gets, + one beast of a pure defender who has the speed to cover in pretty much any situation.
-
Plus he wants loyal and "mentally strong" players, Fabregas-Shaw swap with us paying 20M£ and everyone wins. Funny thing is José would probably think this is a good deal.
-
Apparently it's Shaw, he dropped out because he claimed not to be ready on the game's eve. Totally agree, if he's available he should be our number 1 target in January. He's also a Chelsea fan so, considering how good we have been lately, the atmosphere around the club, Jose's terrible man management ( which he's been a victim of lately ), and the great role he would have to play in that 3-4-3. I'm pretty convinced there is something to do here. Not that I'd put him ahead of Alonso, but we would at least have two strong reliable options there.
-
Okay no. We must be cheating, there are no two ways about it.
-
We're so focused on attacking that I don't even recognize my CFC !!
-
How good are we ?
-
How Conte got Cahill to stop backing away and become a proactive defender on 1 v 1 in such a late stage in his career is beyond me. Perfect example of improving what you've got. FUUUUCK MOSES

The more it goes the more I just feel last season was a blessing in disguise, we got rid of one dangerous man who might have blocked our progression as a club for years and years. What was the worst that José could've done to deserve the sack at Chelsea ? Get us relegated, what was the closest thing to that ? One point above relegation, which is exactly what happened, I genuinely don't think the board would have sacked him had he not reached such low heights ( most of the fanbase were ready to give him a second chance also, including myself ), but reflecting on it, maybe it was the best thing to happen to modern Chelsea : The Mourinho cloud ( negative or positive, which had been roaming above the club since his first departure ) definitely left last season, with the closing chapter being the 4-0, and I can't help but feel we are incredibly lucky with a man like Antonio Conte at the helm, whether he lives up to expectations and stays here for a long time remains to be seen, this is football, once the chemistry isn't here anymore he will go and have the subsequent respect and gratitude depending on how well he does here, but I really feel we are progressing as a club at the current moment, Chelsea is growing, the siege mentality is gone, the shackled offensive players is a thing of the past, we are becoming a big european club again ( actually just resuming our progression ) and the sponsorship deals, new stadium will only help achieve that. Granted we're still a bit far, but i'm pretty convinced it will come good. With that being sad, still have some great memories for José, and the more it goes the more I transition from laughing of his misery to feeling sad for him, this is one of the biggest falls from grace the world of football has ever seen...
