Imagine him running like towards Villas Boas in our sexy shirt after scoring a match winner

I am not for putting faith in Torres now when Didier has left. He still hasn't convinced me and to be honest I am sick of all the talk around him. Whenever he is on the pitch I'm wondering will he score...gets on my tits really. I'm all for Cavani, brilliant player and among the best strikers in the world. 35m is a decent fee.
-
Does my arse make you think that or something else?

Torres' inclusion there isn't that bad. He scored 3 goals and had 4 assist. In the knockout stages he was good and hasn't actually had a bad performance. Obviously, he hasn't been up to his level, but some people make it like UEFA has included Heskey, not a Champions League winner.

Clubs can't guarantee a youngster a starting place when they are taking him on loan. You just don't put all that faith into a 18 year old kid in the strongest league in the world. If Lukaku impresses them on training and when he gets his chance more chances will come. He keeps doing well he'll get to a starting position. That's the way it works. It's a great thing that Fulham doesn't have someone like Zamora anymore so there is definitely space for Romelu there. I would fully expect him to break through.

Sell Torres for 50 million and put out a few more for Cavani
-
So...we have Mata who prefers to play behind a striker. We have Hazard who prefers that too and now we've signed a 25million young player from Brazil who...guess what...likes to play there. Oh, and KDB also prefers playing there and Benayoun is back from his loan. Funny, a season ago we were crying for players like that, and now lots of people are crying because we have too much of 'em. Anyway, I'm sure Oscar was brought here for a good reason. I don't what is RDM's future vision of Chelsea's formation and philosophy, but we will see that really soon. Perhaps Robbie wants to put Eden,Juan and Oscar behind Torres or perhaps he wants to use him as a backup or convert him to a midfielder... I really hope though that we didn't just spend 25million to have the lad sit on the bench. 25mil is quite a bit of money, but then again, if we let him stay at Brazil his price would rise and perhaps we were in danger of losing him to another club. I like him and his style of play though, let's see what happens.

Leslie Davies to win it!

What is it?

I am still not convinced with Torres but it is evident that the club has decided to give him 1 more season to prove what he can do. We also have Sturridge and Lukaku competing for striker position and I can't see any Drogba replacements coming in at the moment. At the moment, our right wing doesn't have a player which prefers to play there. Malouda is on the exit doors, Marin will needs time to adapt and hasn't been really impressive at Werder for some time while Mata and Hazard will occupy the left and central attacking positions. KDB may go out on loan, but even if he stays, he prefers to play in the middle and on the left. From here, you can see that we could really use a player who can cause havoc on the right wing and for the reasons I wrote couple of posts back, Hulk is the best player for that. He is expensive, but we are rich and the transfer is dragging on since the club is not letting Porto milk us anymore while they are playing hardball. Remember what happened when we signed David Luiz. At a certain point it looked we turned away and negotiations broke down, but in the end Benfica had to lower their price and we signed him. Read this.

That was bloody brilliant Greg, great idea mate and it looked really professional!

One of the things I hate the most in this world.

Wouldn't be surprised if we signed him. There has been contact in January and lots of papers reported that we will be back for him. Wouldn't be my preferred pick, even though he is a good player.
