  1. Nice lineup though I was hoping to see Moses and Romeu
  2. It's not as popular as I would like it to be but it's one of the more popular teams. Still, United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus and Milan are more popular though I must admit I've seen the most Chelsea clothes on people recently. Some kits, jackets, shirts and training gear. It's definitely growing and having Ivanovic at the club definitely helps.
  3. Alright, here's the thing. I didn't want to get on his back so soon, but he has been here for some time and I'm getting the deja vu feeling all over again... Forget your opponents, forget the way you play, forget the players you have and forget their effort. If you outscore your opponents you will win (minus 2 leg games) - simple as that. Torres is a striker who is earning more then 150k per week and was paid 50 million pounds. He is supposed to make other 10 players perform much better when he plays (not by motivation, but by his quality) rather then require world class playmakers who send perfectly timed through balls and offer him goals on a fucking plate. He is supposed to make defenders shit themselves and he is supposed to be that small thing that edges us ahead of equal opponents. We play well, they play well, and BAM Torres scores. It's how you win some games really no matter your tactics and certain players, by simply putting the ball in the back of the net more then your opponents. Look at Arsenal last season. Awful squad, but RVP carried to a 3rd place. Look at the recent Real Madrid vs Man City game. Real bossed them for almost a whole game, yet they barely managed to win and were losing for 2 times. It's goals, goals and goals... Fernando is 28 and one of his biggest attributes is was pace. He used to have a rocket up his arse and now it looks like he has a fridge.... And what if he gets injured? We won't be able to sell him for anything reasonable and we will pray that manages to get back at his current level which isn't to our satisfaction. Just look at the video below. That is Fernando Torres we wanted here. That is Fernando Torres we brought in one of the biggest transfers in the history of football. Has he EVER looked like that for his time here? The best he looked in our shirt, he reminded me of a mediocre on form striker, nothing above that...has it ever happened that he inspired our victory over someone big? Yes, a goal at Camp Nou, but really 1 on 1 with Valdes? Lads, look at the video below and look at that player shown on it. Look at what he does and how he does it. Now look at some pages back and you will find people praising his time here for the corner he won and the goal he scored against a mediocre GK with no one around him. Those 2 are regarded as his...biggest achievements at Chelsea football club for being here for almost 2 years. Once one of the best strikers in the world now praised for a corner and a 1on1 with a keeper. Don't get me wrong, I really like the lad. He is a great person and a likeable player, but I am not a Fernando Torres fan, I am a Chelsea football club fan and I want what is the best for the club. When I see a part that is broken or isn't up to the task, I want it replaced with a new one that will work better, simple as that.
  4. Shame mate, but it's your decision. Everything in this world ends...I wish you all the best
  5. I don't get all the fuss about is it 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3...Oscar and Hazard will switch around and play with a lot of freedom so it doesn't matter at all... COME ON CHELSEA, LET'S END THEIR UNBEATEN RUN!
  6. Great game I must say. Di Maria absolutely amazed me, and Cristiano deserved his goal. Overall Real were much better and City were lucky to score 2 goals, though they have Balkan power in Kolarov and Dzeko so it helped Hart was City's MOTM, some brilliant saves from him. Kompany made some surprising errors though while Nastasic looked full of confidence. Yaya Toure is a fucking beast. Overall, a very defensive approach by City with 3 DMs and 1 striker...we were getting criticized when we played like this in much more important games with a weaker team with lots of older and off form players against teams like Bayern and Barca...they came in and parked the bus and I'm glad it hasn't payed of.
  7. And the awesome thing is...they mostly succeed
  8. That rabona pass to Terry...one of the best attacking moves I've seen at Chelsea! Can someone find the gif of it?
  9. Oh I am not getting dragged into discussion about Torres ... he ain't worth my time ...
  10. I am not optimistic about this game. Juventus will come in and wait for the counters which will devastate us like against Atletico. Their 3 CBs when joined with 2 full backs and Buffon will pose quite a challenge while Falcao and his friends certainly gave the world a great recipe for us. I would still expect us to beat them or draw at least but I wouldn't be a bet on it.
  11. Atletico excluded, he did alright in PL games...and obviously I meant the more recent period.
  12. Let's not get on his back though just after he had one bad game. It would be best to wait until January and then analyze things without making a big drama.
  13. And just for the record, my previous post wasn't aimed that much towards our members as much as it was towards Torres...I'm so...bored of him, his blonde hair, his diving and that you never know how is he going to perform when we play. Teams used to shit their pants when they would see him playing, now it's like he is just one of the bunch with a fancy name on the back of his shirt... Nobody forces you to read previous pages so it's rather pointless...besides, same would happen with the new thread.
  14. If I wasn't a member of the staff I wouldn't even bother reading this thread anymore...things said over and over again along with some idiotic posts. The club gave him a chance. If he fails to use it it's bye bye, simple as that.
  15. Torres can fuck of...I'm sick of his mediocre performances...the way he left the pitch after being subbed is disgraceful...I'm hoping to see Danny ahead of him soon. Lamps wasn't good either and Mikel's mistake could have costed us a game... Moses did really well though, can't wait to see more of him... Still QPR fans and most of their players live for the day when they play us so a point there ain't that bad... It was certainly a game not worth any more mentioning...
  16. I've actually drank a raw egg. Not the prettiest thing, I still prefer beer ...
  17. Yeah well I have a better arse and a better passing ability
