  1. Ah that transfer of Mata... Touchy subject really... but. I wanted Mourinho here above everything. I wanted him here the moment I felt his winning mentality after his few press conferences seasons and seasons ago. My heart was almost broken when we sacked him, and I wanted him back every single day since that day until he came back. My heart was broken when he kicked us out of the CL and then won it. My heart was broken with every success he archived that wasn't with us. I won't over-analyze his every move. Instead, I will give him some time because he is not your average Joe, but rather a very calculated man who planned his career a lot before. My take on Mata's transfer? Well, I'll be honest, I have always been disappointed with 1 thing is Mata's game - strength. He was so easy to disposses sometimes, so fragile, so slow, so helpless and useless when we were defending it actually made me laugh a few times. Like a talented little kid who was playing with older kids. That said, with Jose's approach, mentality and ideas he simply didn't fit into a player profile he wanted. Sadly, even though Mata brings enough quality with his creativity, he couldn't express that enough when on pitch due to our, dull until recently, strikeforce. Things may have went a different way if we had brought a lethal striker who would score week and week out, but the fact is that we didn't...and Mata truly suffered for it. I really like 2 things though. Jose wanted Mata away, and we sold him. It's a good thing to see he has the full support to make such radical moves within the club. It's something that makes me really happy. Let the man do his job which he knows really well. Transfer of Mata is actually good for us this season. Lots of money back, Manchester who will aid us in the title race and maybe even sell Rooney in the summer. They will hurt our rivals and we will only profit from it. If someone had asked me would I take 37m pounds (club record btw), PL title this season and Jose being able to work without restrictions, I would've said yes without thinking at all. There is always a price in life though Again, a touchy subject I'll repeat, but let's sit it out and see what happens.
  2. Hahahah obviously someone was hungry and ate that R :eyebrows: OMNOMNOMNOM
  3. I'm hoping he can give us a good run of games and reignite his career. I know he has the quality to do it, but he needs to manager to believe that too and to bring those 110% out of him. Jose will bring 120% so let's rock Demba!
  4. Wow that picture is just bloody brilliant! Class :tophat:
  5. I only know of Salah's game from our CL games, but he has been rather good in those. I like the transfer, not a big fee, but I believe club scouts who have done a rather decent job in the previous couple of seasons. Let's give lad a go and see what he can do
  6. Hahaha I love it how John seems smaller when standing near him And yeah, kicked ass when he came on !!
  7. Well fucking done mate! I couldn't understand why so much negative reactions when Jose started Samuel, fuck his form, he is a class above Fernando at the moment. His positioning and movement is one of the best I've ever seen in my life when it comes to strikers. It surprised me the amount of critique he has gotten when you take into consideration that he came from Russia into the most phyisically demanding league. Considering his years, I'm actually surprised he has adapted so well. Keep doing it homie!! :blue scalf: There was probably something like a challenge or a friendly provocation someone issued at Eto'o which he fullfilled and then wanted to rub it in that guy's face
  8. Oh poor lad,,,amazing just how unlucky he can be at times,,,played 10 minutes and got his knee injured Recover well Fernando! :blue scalf:
  9. Seems a good team. Would be brilliant if we could score a few and then kill the game of with Matic and Mikel Good luck Chels!!
  10. Isn't it a bit risky to send him on loan with Ivanovic injured, Ash who had injury problems? Hopefully, we did this because we are confident of signing Shaw... Good luck Ryan!
  11. Exactly this. Reminds me so much of Ballack with his style Work rate
  12. Am.....all of those which is why I'm very happy about this transfer Very rarely balanced midfielder! Most importantly, he works very very very hard and has a very calm, strong and stable personality. I believe his plan was always to shine at Benfica and return here Great stamina, strong, good tackling, very good break up and counter attack play, never give up attitiude...just a player we need, just a player Mou likes, and a player at the mere start of his best career AW CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM PLAY!!!
  13. My Serbian brother rejoins! I'm so fucking happy for this transfer! Glad we got the lad back, he has been great at Benfica. Mourinho will make a brilliant player out of him! Well fucking done Chelsea!! :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  14. Whenever Torres stars crapping lighting on the pitch he seems to get sent off But truly an idiotic call from the ref for that card...we could've won, but I'll take a point rather then nothing. Torres MOTM And Ramires just kicked ass on that midfield later on, really impressed me. Lad threw himself like 100 times to his death without thinking.
  15. On one side, this is a good move, on the other it's not. Thing is that Jose is not convinced with any of our strikers. Eto'o is old, Torres is Torres and Ba seems lost while Lukaku is still young. If we had someone like Rooney who could kick ass for us regurarly, then Lukaku could've stayed and had less pressure on him. Without Rooney it gets more complicated... It's a good move for Romelu to go to Everton to play even more then previous season and then return when Jose knows what will he do with Torres and Ba, but I do have to say I expected a much better strikeforce for the start of Jose's reign...
  16. Oh fucking hell...we sent another one to Liverpool - the team I just can't fucking stand...I'm going to buy a gun and shoot anyone I see in the knee when he mentions or wears something related to Liverpool...
  17. Welcome to the club Eto'o! Good piece of business for a good player. Past his best, but still a good addition anyway and however you look at this deal, we win Good luck
  18. I just hope that is not classical ,,bunch of best players are out but suddenly they make a surprising return and play the game of the lives"
  19. I am disappointed with both Ba and some members here. I expected more from Ba, he actually used to be very dangerous once... Bad day, bad game for him... And I'm disappointed with some members because Torres takes 2 years with kajillion of played matches to make some people realize he is actually shit, while Ba only gets 1/100 of the credit Torres had...
  20. Jose will use a win like this to start building the siege mentality that everyone is against us and that people don't wanna see us as Champions. It's a win, it's 3 points and I'm happy about it. Too many times last season we dropped points in similar games to these... And whoa, Benteke is a bloody beast Ba was really bad, while I have no other mentions for other players except praises for Ramires, Hazard, Oscar and Ivanovic for their hard work. The feeling of seeing Jose on our touchline talking and smiling at the opposition manager is very hard to describe I'm just so happy to see him
  21. Sorry I haven't structured my post the way I meant to say, of course I don't think 32 year old Eto'o is at the level as he was at Barca and Inter. But, he is still a brilliant player with great eye for a goal and pure class. Obviously we can't expect him to come and score 30 goals in a season, but having him around is a great influence for young players, it's good marketing and with his age, Lukaku would get more chances to play. Of course, this is all in case if Torres or Ba leave. If they don't, then I see absolutely no point in bringing Eto'o here. Same as I said to The Only Place To Be
  22. Can't understand complaints about his wage....of course he is gonna take a fucking wage cut if he's gonna come here, and if the club can afford to pay him a high wage, then I see no problem. It's Eto'o we're talking about, one of the best strikers of 21st century, not Andy fuckin' Carroll
  23. If we can't bring Rooney, go for Eto'o for sure if Jose planned to have 4 strikers without anyone actually leaving. Yeah he's 32, but we could get him for cheap or nothing. He would give a decent season, give some shirt sales but also create more space in the 1st team for Lukaku unlike Rooney. At 32 years of age, this may be the last season he can give on a world class level so he would be highly motivated, especially under Jose. Sure, it wouldn't be a ground braking transfer, but Samuel is a cracking player, that is for sure. Decent backup plan if Rooney transfer doesn't happen.
