  1. Even 12 mil is a bit much for him considering he is on the last year of his contract and wants to leave. If it wasn't for Arsenal, I'm fairly sure Jose would convince him to come here on free next season
  2. Here's what I think will happen with CFC's transfers. We will sell Cech because one foreigner must go. He is the one we can afford the lose even though my heart tears every time I imagine him gone If we are able to bring in Khedira, we will replace Mikel with him, but I feel it depends on Jose and his plans. Jose knows him very well, and if he feels Khedira is an upgrade over our midfielders, then he'll want to bring him. It appears that Jose wanted to bring him for free for the next season, but Arsenal are chasing him and we may not risk it. As for a striker backup, I believe it's entirely down to Torres. If we manage to sell him, then obviously we will bring another striker, and I'm pretty sure that we have a long long detailed master list on the best strikers in the world considering how well our strike force had done since Drogba Cavani? Nope, can't see it happening at all considering our system, how well has Costa done and his wage. Guardado? WHY would we bring him? I mean, yeah a good squad player, but we are kinda really heavy on players, and in order to bring him, someone else would have to go, and that ain't good. Benatia? Maybe, but I doubt it. It would be lovely if he would stay at Roma and we could bring him next season, but it may be the similar case as with Khedira. Perhaps Benatia is the perfect replacement the club found for our centre backs so they don't want to risk losing him.
  3. I absolutely think this guy is gonna sky rocket us to success! So happy we signed him, yes! :D Of course my lady! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11038621/Burnley-v-Chelsea-Diego-Costa-will-give-Jose-Mourinhos-men-balls-as-new-Premier-League-season-kicks-off.html
  4. I would welcome his transfer here, he's an upgrade over Mikel and Ramires. Great work rate, good reading of the game, solid all around, knows Mourinho well, low fee...much more pluses then minuses.
  5. The guy who comes from behind the sunset Mourinho said: "His village is behind the sunset - you want to arrive there and it's difficult to arrive [it is so far away]. He's still that guy. The way he behaves. The way he acts, he way he interacts. He's still that naive, pure, simple, humble guy. "At the same time he's such a communicator, he's such a group guy, he's such a happy man that, not speaking more than 10 words in English, he speaks with everybody. He can establish a conversation and interact with somebody and he doesn't understand a single word the person is saying. "But just because of gesture and body language and happiness and so on everybody likes the guy so much. And he comes from Atlético Madrid and he comes here and with the adaptation. Happy guy in the group, not shy. He's fantastic. I say to him every time, 'Do you need me to explain something in Portuguese?' and he goes, 'Nah, I understand everything'." "So everybody was blind including myself. He went to Atlético and [sergio] Agüero was the superstar. He went on loan after that. Agüero goes and they bought [Radamel] Falcao and he went on loan. I think he was always behind very important players but at the same time he was developing himself. So when he got the chance to go back to Atlético he was even better." "I have to say I have met so many wonderful characters in football and it's difficult to find one better than Diego," Mourinho says. "In the group, in the club, so nice, so funny, after that he goes to the pitch and he wants to win matches and the fact that he played against Chelsea, a club that he was already connected to, people were having the feeling that he could come to us, and to play against us and play the way he did for his club, I think shows his character.
  6. I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT TO SEE US PLAY! I missed PL so much!
  7. It's funny how some Manu fans only now realize that Mata is not as pacy as Ronaldo and Messi
  8. Oh come on homie, we are talking about a coach who sticks it up opposition's or ref's arse whenever he feels his team was damaged by a bad decision, dangerous tackle or similar. The amount of fines he payed so far is quite a number That alone inspires unity and good squad harmony. Players can talk all they want, but all of them want to win and that's what Jose lives for. He will kick their asses and they will either win or die trying to do it. And this? I never had a bigger buzz before a coming season then this one, and I'm actually rather down to earth when it comes to these things. At the start of previous 2 seasons I've said I would be satisfied with a season without a single trophy if we manage to improve on our football and replace our aging stars. For this season I will not be satisfied at all unless we don't win either PL or CL. Anything less then that is a complete failure.
  9. Well actually I do. Every fucking time he was speaking to the media he promoted that idea, sometimes directly, sometimes indirectly. Didier's transfer was also an important part to it. He managed to keep a happy dressing room even after Lampard left, Mata was benched, Torress was benched...almost every time we looked as a team and not as a team of mercenary footballers. Even when we were playing badly or struggling to get the result, team never stopped going for it. Obviously it's not all Jose, but I can't say he isn't the mastermind behind it all.
  10. It's funny how twitter exists for some time now, yet with Mourinho at the club, only now we see shitload of these pictures of the team and them spending time together. Jose is really doing well creating a great team spirit and a stable dressing room. Absolutely love it!
  11. Aye, SAMSUNG logo looks nice on our kits, but financially it's not among the top deals. If they don't offer us much more money per season I wouldn't be surprised at all if we signed with someone else now. Especially if we win PL and/or CL and use that publicity to negotiate better terms.
  12. The difference between Arsenal and Ramsey and Chelsea and Oscar is that Ramsey gets support when he plays badly (which he did a few seasons ago) unlike here when people can't wait to get on Oscar's back after a run of average or poor games. Hahahaha I still can't stop laughing at United They have even worse squad then last season and yet some United fans even thought about going for the title this season They celebrate LvG like he's the Chuck Norris of football xD And I absolutely hate formation 3-5-2 and absolutely I'm in love to see United implement it. Can't wait to play them and exploit those wings! Young as a left wing back? xD Their squad is just awful, simple as that. The worst United squad I can remember. Evans? Smalling? Hernandez? Carrick? Welbeck? Powel? Fletcher? Cleverley? Anderson? I wouldn't take a single one of them. They need 2 great centre backs, 2 great midfielders and a quality right wing back (unless Valencia can have a good season and stay fit). With players who are available and the inflated transfer market, I doubt they have enough money to plug all the holes they need. I'm sick and tired of Manchesters winning title and it's lovely to see one of them collapsing. And that cunt Fellaini? Should've got his sorry ass sent of for all the elbows, tackles and knees.
  13. I will be sad to see Reus leave Dortmund. I really like watching that team go, but then again, they will find a suitable replacement. Still sad to see such a brilliant team fall apart with the departures of Lewa, Gotze, Sahin (yeah he's back), Kagawa and now Reus (if he's leaving). That aside, it's a great thing for him to go to Atletico because he will avoid our rivals and I do bloody like that. He will fit brilliantly there and I do hope Atletico kick both Barcelona's and Real's arse again. I would also be very happy if he was our player, but we made our move with Willian, Salah and Schurrle so we should stick by those. Perhaps in another life
  14. I really hope Oscar comes in strong this season and gives a better end product. I really like the lad, but I'm a bit afraid that his starting place in our squad is really under threat. Not by other players, but by Mourinho. Sure, he can field Oscar in number 10 and Matic and Fabregas behind, but the moment our team starts looking shaky and we leak a few goals, I believe Jose will switch to 4-3-3 and either bench Oscar or play him on the wing. That aside, I do believe Oscar has enough quality to make the midfield trio of him, Matic and Fabregas work due to his tracking back and work rate. Big season for the lad, and I really hope he does well. As for shirt numbers, I'm against retiring numbers from 1-11 simply because they are so often used and requested from players. Frank is not only a Chelsea legend and one of the my favorite players, but he is also something much more to me, an idol and a role model. He is someone who has shown to me that despite a little lack of talent you can write a fucking legend by working your guts of and believing in your purpose ! Honestly, I am not overly happy to see Oscar wear a number 8 shirt, but I will wait and see how well he fills the big boots he has and then judge him.
  15. I agree but it's ugly how fast fans start supporting a player who actually still hasn't done anything great for their club while they go and slate someone like Oscar who has been here for 2 years already and worked his socks of almost every single minute he was on the pitch. Let Schurrle play for 2 straight years almost every game and see will his lever of performance drop from time to time, but then again, people would still say he has great attitude and determination. Yeah, Mikel has that too and support he gets is microscopic. I hate that from fans, it's not fair towards players. And how do you know Andre is a Chelsea fan? Yes he has worn Lampard shirt, but he never said he is a Chelsea fan. I idolized Henry, Ronaldo, ZIdane, Carlos as a kid but I was always a Chelsea fan. My favorite player was always Ronaldo back then. I do like Schurrle, but he will need to do more to impress me then get a few goals and assists coming on as a sub and playing against jaded players who were dying foe 70 minutes on the warm Brazilian sun after a very tough season.
  16. I was impressed with him at the world cup but I don't see the point of bringing him here. He isn't that good for us to sacrifice someone else and spend more money.
  17. Sadly I see him going. It will almost break my heart, but deep down I know it's the right thing Hopefully we can at least make a good player swap deal with the buying team and bring another quality player.
  18. Bloody hell! The hell is happening with all Schurrle love? His first season with us wasn't anything memorable except a few games. He wins a world cup while not even being a starter and suddenly people are talking of him like he's the best player in the world Don't get the wrong, he has done well at WC and well in pre season, and his work rate is brilliant, but I'm amazed at how quick people have starting wanking over him like he is the god who came down and decided to play some football
  19. I want to see this lad starting Cup games and some CL ones. He has great potential and could turn out to be a great midfielder.
  20. Funny how people are suddenly wanking all over Schurrle but slating Oscar even though Oscar played much more last season and lots of times looked 2x the player Schurrle is. Give the lad a break and a good run of games and see how's he gonna do. Especially look how's he's gonna do when he has a dangerous striker ahead and less pressure to create chances on his back. Schurrle is also a year older so he kinda has 1 season over Oscar
  21. In training Schürrle has been running for fitness (in which, he admits, he struggles to find pleasure) and working with the ball (which he loves). The most inspiring element, however, is clearly his time with Mourinho; the boss is said to be personally fond of Schürrle and the protégé returns the feeling with something resembling bright-eyed hero worship. ‘It’s his thinking,’ he explains. ‘There is only one way for him and that is to win. And with his psychology, the way he talks… he gives that thinking to you. The hardest thing is when you feel tired in training and he’ll push you, but it makes you better as a player. It’s why I wanted to play for him.’
  22. This guy... He just does and scores however and whenever he wants while still looking like he's gonna kick your ass. I can't wait to see him tormenting defenders COSTA SMASH! COSTA SCORES!
  23. If he's available for a reasonable price, go for him. He'd be a good backup option and certainly able a few with all the creativity in our squad.
  24. Actually this is not a first time Rambo pulls out such a screamer just like that. I remember a couple of goals like that when he just scorers when nobody's expecting it and usually goalkeeper just watches the ball blast the net Good game for him.
  25. I watched City and Arsenal yesterday. Arsenal impressed me, but it was City who made them look that good. Sanchez did well for them but I noticed that he's more of a showman and runner then a technical football player. There were a couple of attacks that Sanchez screwed with bad decisions even though he should've only passed the ball and every coach would scream for him to simply pass the ball. I expect Arsenal to have a really good season, but their defense is nothing impressive (as always) and I would expect us to beat them with the likes of Costa, Hazard and Fabregas with no problem. As for City, they just confirmed what we all knew. Without Kompany, Aguero and Silva, they are just a mediocre team. Damn it's going to be a tough season!
